Introduction
I had a secret crush on William Hayes for seven years. Then, unexpectedly, I became Mrs. Hayes, and everyone around mocked me for aiming too high. My mother-in-law and sister-in-law belittled me, while my husband ignored my existence. They even went so far as to send me pictures of him in bed with his first love! Faced with all this, I finally slammed a divorce agreement in front of William Hayes. After the divorce, my life blossomed. I frequently made headlines with young, fresh faces. A top male celebrity: "Sorry, but she's the real boss behind my success." A rising tech entrepreneur: "As the major shareholder of my investment firm, she's the woman I admire most." The head of an elite family: "Olivia Martinez is the sole designated heir of our family." William panicked and regretted it. "Hey, my ex-wife, can we get back together?" I flashed a carefree smile and walked away. "Sorry, sir, but...do I know you?"

Chapter 1 Birthday Gift: Husband's Affair Photo

In the hotel, a distinguished man was sitting on the bed beside an alluring woman clad in a bathrobe. The woman smiled charmingly and sweetly, while the man behind her was tying the belt of his bathrobe. His strong muscles were looming under the bathrobe. It was self-evident that what had happened between them just now.

At the sight, the blood drained from Olivia Martinez's face, replaced rapidly by a tide of anger, humiliation, and sorrow.

The man in this intimate moment is none other than her husband, William Hayes.

Her husband cheated on her with another woman, and a photo was sent to her!

The photo was taken from the angle of the woman, likely sent deliberately just to provoke her.

Married for three years, William seldom texted her, so Olivia excitedly opened it almost immediately upon receiving it.

She could never have imagined that it was a photo of her husband having an affair with another woman.

Despite knowing that William did not love her, Olivia was still his wife. How could he possibly do this to her?

Did he really consider her as his wife?

Today was William's birthday, and Olivia had learned to make his favorite mousse cake, planning to surprise him with it.

Was this what she got in return for her efforts?

With a beep, Olivia's phone received another message. This time it was an unknown number.

"Have you received the photo? This is Grace. I'm home. Olivia, you shameless b***h! You only married William because you saved his mother. It's time for you to step aside! I'm the one William truly loves!"

At that moment, Olivia's mind went blank, not even feeling the cake knife slip and cut her hand.

Red drops of blood fell, but Olivia felt no pain in her hands—only a crushing ache in her heart.

It turned out to be Grace Thompson, William's first love.

It appeared that his purpose in demeaning her was simply to amuse Grace.

Her husband even allowed Grace to send the text on his phone. During the years of marriage, Olivia had not even touched William's clothes because he didn't love her!

William didn't love her. He loved Grace. Olivia thought that she would change his views sooner or later after they got married, but she was wrong.

Three years into their marriage, William's neglect made Olivia feel invisible at home; he never inquired about her life nor even came close to her.

Now that Grace was back, William couldn’t wait to jump into bed with her.

This is the difference between being loved and not being loved.

Olivia burst into tears, overwhelmed by the sensation that she might stop breathing.

She longed to cry out, yet discovered no sound would escape her lips.

Rachel Foster stormed in with her shoes on, tossing a few dirty clothes at Olivia and scolded without a hint of courtesy, "Why are you crying? How dare you waste our food with your tears? Go wash these clothes for me."

Rachel, William's mother, always looked down on Olivia, constantly ridiculing her, and treating her as a maid, burdening her with household chores.

For William's sake, Olivia endured it all, always obliging Rachel and never standing up for herself.

Rachel grabbed a piece of cake and continued her mockery. "No matter what you do to marry William, he will never care for you. Your shameless presence in our family is futile. Divorce him soon and make way for Grace."

The daughter-in-law of the Hayes family should be Grace, not this useless woman!

Hearing this, Olivia felt as if her last bit of strength had been crushed.

No matter what she did, William and his family would never accept her.

In their eyes, she was nothing but a gold-digger, willing to do anything for money.

Looking at the cake she had made with her own hands, now ruined by Rachel, it felt like her heart was similarly riddled with a thousand wounds.

She recalled William's countless acts of indifference over the past three years.

Once, bewildered and feverish in the middle of the night, she called William to take her to the hospital. He didn't respond and even turned his phone off. Ultimately, she went to the hospital by taxi on her own.

Last year, on their anniversary, Olivia crafted a bottle of perfume for him, only to find it thrown it straight into the trash. Seeing the broken pieces amid the garbage, her heart too was shattered.

After three years of marriage, she was the only one who took it seriously. William never cared about her.

All her strength seemed to vanish at that moment, and Olivia suddenly felt like she couldn't hold on anymore.

"You're right. I want a divorce."

She wiped her tears, pushed Rachel away, and stormed out, ignoring Rachel's taunts.

Olivia texted William. "Let's get a divorce."

After waiting for a long time without a reply, she called but no one answered.

Feeling her heart ablaze with fury, she could no longer tolerate it and immediately took a taxi to the Myriads office building.

A flicker of disdain crossed the receptionist's face upon seeing her disheveled appearance, and the receptionist blocked her.

"I'm sorry, Ms. Martinez. You don't have an appointment and can't go up to see Mr. Hayes."

Olivia gave her a frosty look. Even a receptionist dared to make it difficult for her.

For three years, this receptionist hadn't even called Olivia "Mrs. Hayes". Ultimately, it was because William never really cared about Olivia.

Olivia's blue eyes turned icy. "Move! I need to see him now!"

She wanted to see him and ask what she meant to him as his wife!

She demanded an explanation for their relationship! How could they treat her this way?

Did he realize that it pained her heart and saddened her? She was human, after all!

After that, Olivia brushed past the receptionist and headed for the elevator.

A secretary stopped her at the office door. "Mr. Hayes is in a meeting. You can't enter now."

Olivia seemed not to hear what the secretary said and barged into the room.

Suddenly, the office door opened and Grace emerged with a triumphant smile.

"Oh, Olivia? Why the rush to see William?"
