"You look absolutely breathtaking," Lisa, my best friend said as she kept staring at me and wishing to be in my position right now. "I'm so sure Henry will have his whole eyes on you without even trying to blink." She continued and I couldn't help but giggled at what she said.

I kept staring at myself and was proud of the woman I have become now. I was about to select my jewelry when Henry knocked on the door and was about to come in.

"No Alpha, you can't come in right now. You are not expected to see your bride now." Lisa said as she ran over to stop him.

"I know... I know... Just five seconds please..." He pleaded.

I couldn't help but laugh at the way he was pleading to see me. "Come in darling." I said and then shot an eye at Lisa.

"Oh my... You look so sweet and beautiful." Henry said with those charming eyes of his he used to seduce me when we were teenagers.

He leaned over to peck me on the cheeks, he couldn't do it to my lips to avoid ruining my makeup.

"Clinton and I need to check something real quick. We won't waste much time." He said, turning to leave.

That was how loved and cherished I was to Henry. He has always been there for me but I didn't know why he should be worrying himself about all of these works instead of allowing Clinton to do it alone.

Clinton was the beta to Henry who was the Alpha of the silver moon pack and I am about to be his Luna, Riley after spending seven years of my life.

"But you actually know that you don't need to stress yourself considering that you are already dressed." I opposed thinking that it would change his mind but No... Henry actually has a mind of his own.

"Trust me, this is really important and I do not want to waste any further." He said and stumbled out immediately not waiting for my response.

That is Henry for you. He knows that we will both argue about this right now that was why he had to leave immediately. I waved out the thoughts in my head and turned to stare at myself once again.

"What does the Alpha have to do that is so important that he can't send Clinton." Lisa asked thereby making me think about it once more.

"Well... He said it won't take time." I said as I put on an assuring look on my face.

"I'm just asking A, because you have less than thirty minutes for your wedding to start."

"I know. He will be back before then." I assured her.

I rested my hands on my lap and then my eyes were immediately fixed on the gorgeous necklace staring at me. I remembered when Henry bought me that necklace and ever since then I have been protecting it like a child. It has always been looking new and I'm happy that it actually suits my dress.

Henry and I have been through a lot together and I'm happy that today is finally here. Getting married at twenty two is every wolf's dream.

And I'm sure that Henry's parents, the late Alpha Harry and his Luna Clara, would be very proud of us.

"Would you want me to get anything for you?," came a voice disturbing my thoughts and I turned immediately to see Stella. My maid.

"Wait, where exactly is Lisa? I thought she was just standing here." I said not to sound loud.

"I'm sorry Luna for badging in on you. I saw the door open." Stella said, sounding so apologetic.

"It's fine and I don't want anything to ruin my dress. I will eventually eat as much as I can after the wedding." I responded to her and waved my hands in the air.

"I will tell them not to bother," she said as she turned to look at me from head to toe. "You look absolutely beautiful and fit for a Luna."

I couldn't help but blushed at her words.

Alright this is actually not funny, Lisa just left me all by myself without letting me know and it's already close to one hour since Henry left. What is actually going on?

"Riley..." I heard Lisa screaming my name from outside and for her to call my name in full it meant trouble.

"You need to come see this Riley." She said as she appeared by the door. I was actually not happy that she left me alone but I know that something might be up because she wasn't smiling.

I followed her as fast as I could. "Slow down Li, remember my gown is heavy." I called out to her.

We ran downstairs and were probably heading to the wedding event. "No Li, I can't go any further. Henry is not back and I can't let anyone see me now." I called out to her but she wasn't listening. Before I could say anything again I was so shocked to see what was before me.

Henry had a hand wrapped around a young lady probably my age and In front of the pack house. The cute blonde peeked at me and I was sure to see a smirk on her face for a quick second.

"Riley dear," Henry called out to me exactly how he would when we are together. "I need to confess, but first of all I'm sorry you had to find out like this. I have found my true mate and her name is Sophie.

At this point it felt like I should just disappear. Everyone was just looking in silence and waiting to hear my response. I could feel myself tearing up from inside but I had to control myself.

Henry and I had kept our mate's life a secret for so long. I know we were not true mates and we have vowed to reject our true mate whenever we get to see them someday but now Henry has betrayed me and let our secret out to everyone here.

It was only Henry's parents who knew the whole truth and actually wanted us to be together from the start.

I still kept quiet not knowing what to say. I was boiling so badly from within me. Henry had hurt me so much that the tears I tried to hold back couldn't help but start to flow out. My face I have been protecting is now ruined. My dress that I have maintained has already gotten stained.

I kept staring at Henry unable to move or say anything and he then decided to take the lead.

"I know you are really upset with me and I also know what we promised each other. I tried to fight it for quite some time now but I couldn't. You are my chosen mate Riley and you will always be my Luna. I couldn't reject Soph and my wolf has been going crazy ever since. If I do, it will surely weaken us."

Of course there will always be something to say and this didn't happen recently. He has met his mate since and decided to hide it from me, only to bring it up now and In front of everyone.

“So what will happen to our wedding now,” was what I could manage to say without thinking straight at this point.

“Riley dear, I'm sorry but we have to postpone the wedding for now.” He said not wanting to look straight into my eyes, instead he held his blonde mate so tight on her hands.
