The Plot The Beginning The story starts at the first party Nora organized as Luna because she wasn't given the chance to do so since she was married. Her husband, Leo, danced with his favorite mistress before the pack members and flirted with her. Nora was humiliated and on the verge of crying as she went to him. Nora expected him to be remorseful, but Leo wasn't, instead, he disgraced her. He suggested they have an open marriage where he would be the only one to be with other people. He reminded her that she didn't serve the purpose he bought her, as she refused to give him pubs since they were married. The pack member mocked her, and Nora ran out crying. She decided the humiliation was enough for her and ran away that afternoon. Inciting incident Nora successfully ran away from the pack and arrived at King Zane's pack, stranded. She was wandering around the pack at night when she bumped into a tall, strange man, King Zane. She was shocked and scared of the man's aura, especially as he kept claiming that they were mates. Nora didn't believe him as she hadn't gotten her wolf and told him not to call her that again, even though she felt attracted to him. King Zane, on the other hand, was curious to know why his mate was denying him. He suggested taking Nora to the palace, which she eventually accepted. That night in Nora's room, the attraction between them was so much that they had sex with each other. The next day, Nora woke up feeling disgusted with herself; she wasn't the type who cheated. She put the thought away, knowing Leo cheated on her regularly. After taking care of herself, she went downstairs as the maid instructed her to do. She was shocked to see that the strange man was the popular cold Lycan King, and he had a fiancée. She couldn't handle the betrayal and ran out of the dining room, with the thought of running away from him. After she succeeded in running away from the pack, she didn't want to go back to Leo, but was kidnapped by him because he claimed he owned her. Leo brought Nora back to his pack and punished her by demoting her from Luna to a common person. Nora endured all the punishment Leo inflicted on her, and during one of his sessions, she fainted and was rushed to the hospital. She woke up to the news that she was pregnant. Rising Actions The pregnancy news was devastating for Nora. The baby wasn't Leo's because it had been six months since she last had sex with Leo. She was scared of how her life would turn out, and if King Zane would accept the pregnancy. She begged the doctor to keep her secret and left the hospital. Alpha Leo wasn't remorseful for sending Nora to the hospital, which hurt Nora. She debated running away once again, but erased the thought after having nowhere to go. Leo announced that an important visitor would be visiting. The visitor turned out to be King Zane, who came to negotiate business with Alpha Leo. King Zane was shocked to see Nora at the pack. He had looked for her everywhere but couldn't find her. He almost blurted out that they were mates until Alpha Leo introduced her as his breeder. His possessiveness grew tenfold, and he planned to do everything to take her from the pack. At night, he went to search for Nora since she had been avoiding him all day. He caught Alpha Leo trying to force himself on Nora. He became furious and rescued Nora before beating the hell out of Alpha Leo, though he suffered some injuries, but he was stronger than Alpha Leo because of his genes. Alpha Leo refused to accept defeat, but Zane threatened to kill him and overthrow his pack if he refused to release Nora to him. Leo had no choice but to accept. Nora was grateful to Zane for saving her, but she was also scared of him asking her the reason she was refusing Leo. Surprisingly, Zane just wanted her to follow him back to his pack. Nora was scared of his request because of his fiancée, and how to relate the pregnancy to him but she later accepted because she was choiceless. King Zane was nice to Nora in his pack and wanted to claim her as his Luna, but Nora refused because of Freya. Freya was stronger than her and warned her to stay away from Zane if she wanted to be alive. Every wolf and Lycan dreamed about going to the human world, but only the privileged are allowed. So, when the opportunity came up for King Zane, he chose Nora as his companion instead of Freya as planned earlier. This only fueled Freya's hatred towards Nora. During the trip, King Zane and Nora grew to know each other, finding out about each other's secrets. Nora opened up to King Zane about the reason she became a breeder. She became an orphan at the age of ten, she had nowhere to go but to be an omega at the palace because of her wolfless state. The alpha of her pack then sold her to Alpha Leo. Chapter 1

Nora's Pov

My husband wanted an open marriage.

Alpha Leo bought me at the age of eighteen as a breeder, and life has been chaotic since then. He hated me and he never tried to hide it. But that doesn't mean when he told me that he wanted an open marriage where he would be the only one fracking around while I stayed loyal, I wasn't shocked. I refused but he didn't care at all.

I pushed back the thought and smiled brightly, it's my birthday. My twenty-two years birthday, and this year, Leo granted me the opportunity to hold a party and celebrate it how I want.

"Happy Birthday, Luna Nora," A beautiful blond woman, whom I didn't identify, wished me. It's not my fault for not identifying a lot of people, Leo made sure I didn't step outside the palace for the past five years thinking that I would run away.

"Thank you." I smiled collecting the wrapped box she stretched to me. First birthday gift also. Today was going so well. She smiled back at me before walking to her friends who stood by the makeshift bar.

Low music played under the chatter of the pack members, who swayed gently. It wasn't time for me to dance as the celebrant, so I sat down and watched the women dance and discuss happily.

I stood up gathering my red ball dress in my hand before brushing my brown hair behind my ears. I should mingled with the dignitaries. This would be the only way to find connections and make more friends. Life has been tiring without friends and I don't look forward to waking up without one again.

My shoulders stiffened as the familiar smell hit my nose, Alpha Leo came.

Gosh, he made it. This was the best day of my life, my stomach flipped with joy. He had vowed never to step into the party I organized because I was useless, my heart shattered into pieces hearing that from him, so I wondered what changed his mind.

I spun around with a bright smile to welcome him. "Alpha Leo__" My smile dropped seeing who he came with. Lucy, that bitch.

My heart tightened as I watched Alpha Leo peck her forehead while gazing at her with love. I didn't even know he was capable of loving someone, but he proved me wrong with his favorite mistress.

The members shouted with joy when they kissed passionately; some looked at me with pity, while some laughed mockingly at me. And that is it, I'm done being the subject of ridicule. How could he bring Lucy to my birthday party and start displaying love?

I lifted my dress higher in anger before matching to them. "What...are you doing?" My voice stammered before it became steady. "Why are you here with this_" I paused, casting a horrible look at Lucy. She scoffed, flipping her hair backward nonchalantly. And that does it, I spit out the word I swallowed. "This lowlife bitch."

Silence engulfed the room and I rubbed my sweaty palms together under the judging gaze of the pack member. Leo shifted his gaze from Lucy since I started talking. The hatred he reserved for me only clouded his eyes again.

"Did I just hear a lowlife bitch from a wolfless barren?"

My legs wobbled as I staggered backward from his insults, tears brimmed my eyes and they fell easily when a mocking laughter filled the room. I sniffed gazing back at him with my tears-filled eyes.

"Barren? How does that have to do with you constantly cheating on me, and disgracing me everywhere? It is my birthday, for mooncake; didn't I deserve any atom of respect?" My voice went high at every word until I was shouting with tears rolling down my face.

My heart burned in pain and I inhaled deeply. When my gaze met with Leo's, the burning in my heart deepened.

He stood up and advanced towards me, I shifted back at the Alpha's aura emitting from him.

He leveled his dark gaze with mine. "I already warned you not to be in my business. I want an open marriage, there is nothing bad in it." I didn't even know Lucy was by his side until he pulled her closer and planted a kiss on her neck. "I found my partner." He smiled before his eyes darkened. "But you dare not try that with me."

I burst into a loud cry at his words. I shouldn't be crying, I kept telling myself, but it's not easy watching your husband hurling insults at you while praising his mistress.

I hate this so much, I hate you. I wanted to scream, but they refused to come out, so I ran out instead.
