The Revenge I never Wanted

Lee xi Lu woke up in a cold foggy basement, her body was weak from the incident that happened last night, her head was banging a lot and her clothes were stained from dust and mud, she had been kidnapped, she was having a meeting with her employee and-, she couldn’t remember what happened after that.

“Where am I?” Lu said as she tried to stand up and fell down back because her ankle was fractured, she looked around the place and saw old things filled with cobwebs, tiger skin boxes and working tools.

The door to the basement opened and Lu gasped as she looked at the stairs and she heard footsteps, it wasn’t footsteps of just one person but more than one.

She finally saw the person, it was Gu Xian, the richest body in the full country, he glared at her as soon as he saw her face, what was she doing There? .

“You’re finally awake little princess” Xian said as he slowly walked towards her and she moved backwards “why are you doing this?” Lu asked.

“I’m just securing my contract, are you curious?” Xian said as he squatted “no, just let me out, I didn’t do anything to you” Lu said “So he didn’t tell you, did he?” Xian said and stood up.

“W-what are you talking about?” Lu asked and Xian gave a huge sigh, “this is so not fun” xian said while taking a look at the basement.

“Be serious Gu xian, I have done to do with you but yet why are you doing this?!!” Lu shouted and the basement echoed.

“You’re so loud” xian said while touching his ears “stop playing already” Lu said and xian squatted again and looked into her eyes.

“Are you that curious?” xian Said and laughed and she spit at his face. His body guard was about to hit her when he raised his hand and he stood where he was, he cleaned his face with his handkerchief and looked at her again.

“You’re going to be hard to train I guess” xian said and carried her on his shoulders.

“How dare you?!, PUT ME DOWN!!” Lu shouted as she hit his back and he kept walking up the stairs.

Lu opened her eyes to a well decorated ceiling, she felt conscious now and didn’t remember what happened after xian carried her.

She was about standing up when she fell down again, her ankle was bandaged and her hand was connected to an IV drip, she searched herself for her phone but couldn’t find it.

The room didn’t look like a hospital VIP room or her own room, she stood up again and limped to the door and tried to open the door but it was locked from the outside, she looked up and saw CCTV cameras and took a huge sigh.

She limped to the room balcony and thought she could jump from it but she was scared of heights and even if she did, there was no chance of she surviving it.

The door was unlocking when Lu quickly hid in the curtains before it opened, a lady came in with a tray with some medical stuff, the lady looked around and Lu decided to make a run for it.

She came out from the curtains quickly and limped quickly towards the door, the lady held Lu’s clothe and Lu pushed her down and limped out from the room, guards held right away and she kept struggling to leave, she bit one of the guard’s hand and hit the other’s private part and limped towards the elevator and it opened.

It was xian and some other guards, she just stood there saying nothing cause she couldn’t possibly do anything “grab her” xian said and they came out from the elevator and dragged Lu back inside the room.

“If my dad finds out what you’re doing to me, you’re going to be dead” Lu said as a guard handcuffed her to the bed frame.

“Wow, how brave of you little princess” Xian said focusing on the tablet on his hand “why am I even here?, just fucking tell me already” Lu said angrily.

“If I do then you’ll crashout, and your health condition is not okay, you have a little fever, heal first” xian said and stood up.

“Don’t try too hard to make run away attempts or you’ll ruin your ankle” xian said as he looked at her “EXCUSE ME?!!” Lu shouted as he left the room “where do you think you’re going? YOU BASTAR-” Lu was saying when his bodyguard closed the door.

Lu came from a very prestigious family, both of her parents worked in the President’s office and they own the Lee group, the country’s top three company in great China, Lu had two brothers and she owned her own gallery.

xian was more like the foundation of China, he’s the president’s nephew but still has more net worth than the president, he was the one in charge of almost everything, the goods, the gamblers and the money, he just had everything under his name, he ran a mafia group which got disbanded about 5 years ago but xian and Lu weren’t just in good terms.

They were never in good terms since they were little, she just hated his guts for no reason, she thinks that he’s just wicked cause he feels like he controls the full country, he was also well known in all Asian countries and well respected like no one just no one dared to mess with him.

“How’s the goods moving?” Mr. Gu, xian’s dad asked as he dusted the but of his cigarette on a can “we’ll be able to start selling by Monday-” xian was saying when Mr. Gu looked at him disgustingly.

“I’m trying all my best, the Thai dealer said they need more reimbursement money for their workers-” xian was saying when Mr. Gu interrupted him again “make it happen by Thursday, double the money for them if they refuse and let it happen by Tuesday, you know we have no time to waste” Mr. Gu said.

Mr. Gu was more like the most downgraded person in the family lineage, for an elder as that, he got arrested and spent 10 years in prison for drug trafficking and got kicked out from the politics office, his brother felt pity for him and gave him a bread wholesale company in Indonesia but, seems like he felt envy for his brother and his son and came back for ‘a change’ to join this presidential office this time.

A maid came inside the room with a tray of food and water and dropped it on a table, Lu was actually pretending to be asleep.

“Lady Lu, make sure to eat and have you drugs before going to bed” the maid said and she Lu didn’t move a muscle “Lady Lu-” she was saying when Lu interrupted her “go away would you?” Lu said and the maid just obeyed.

The maid came back some minutes later and the food remained untouched.

“Still hasn’t eaten, has she?” Xian asked as he organized some papers on his study desk, the maid looked down, xian smiled as he dropped the papers.

“Have my dinner ready in the dining, make a serving for two, seems like we’ll have a romantic night”
