Introduction
“Every single day, I battle with the choice; marrying the woman I’ve known for years over the pull of the girl I met some night ago. Do you think it’s simple looking into your mother’s eyes and wondering if I made a mistake?” My stepfather confessed, his words hung in the air bluntly, and my breath caught in my throat. It was just a drunken mistake—one that haunted me endlessly. But was it truly a mistake? If I had never found out who he was, if the truth had remained buried, would it still feel like one? If he wasn’t my mom’s fiancé. And now, he became my stepfather. Every fiber of my being ached for him, an undeniable longing I couldn't shake. I wanted him to be buried deep inside me. My pussy clenched whenever I thought of him. I couldn’t stop longing for him, but finally I made my choice. I was ready to let him go, until my mom broke the news to me. They were relocating back to my city, to live together as a happy family, with my stepfather, and that was the moment my resolve shattered completely. I found myself sneaking into his room, doing forbidden things we shouldn’t be doing, he made me feel good, in a way I’d never expected. I wanted to stop, to break free from the undeniable magnetic pull between us, and as the weight of my conscience grew unbearable. I ended it. Walked away. Left home. I thought it was over, buried, forgotten. Until the shock of my life. My stepfather had bought the company I worked for. And now, he is the CEO. “You’re stuck with me, Princess,” He whispered, his breath fanning my ears as he trailed his finger in between my legs and I moaned in pleasure, forgetting the reason I was in his office. It was clear, my stepfather wasn’t finished with me. This was only the beginning.

Chapter 1

Chapter one

NORA

I stared at the boisterous club, swimming with blaring music and half nude sexy girls that could knock out even the saints.

Being dragged here wasn’t exactly how I imagined celebrating my big win. Landing a business deal my boss had been chasing for over a year, in just a month; had made me the company’s star, and everyone insisted I deserved a proper night out.

At first, I thought it was just a casual hangout, but before I knew it, I was being pulled into the heart of the club. Maybe it wouldn’t hurt to have a little fun, especially since my schedule was about to get a lot tighter.

Yeah, you guessed it, I’m a workaholic. And tomorrow, I’d barely have a moment to breathe, let alone unwind, with all the preparations for my mom’s wedding.

That’s right, she’s getting remarried, and I couldn’t be happier for her. She deserves this fresh start, and there’s no way I’d miss her big day. Tomorrow, I’d be flying out to celebrate with her; the person who means the world to me.

"Nora, why are you staring into space? Aren’t you gonna have fun?" Debbie, my best friend at work, called out before rushing over to me, grabbing my hand and pulling me toward the crowd.

"The star of our company has arrived!" my coworkers cheered as soon as they spotted me. I smiled, as I made my way to the bar.

The bartender approached, dressed sharply in a crisp white shirt and black apron. He flashed a polite smile before leaning in slightly, raising his voice just enough to be heard over the music. "Excuse me, what can I get everyone to drink?"

"Nora, we’ll go with whatever you choose!" Debbie gushed, and the group nodded in agreement. Their eyes were all on me, waiting for my decision. The only problem? I had no idea what I wanted.

I cleared my throat, glancing toward the head of our department. "Uh… Patron, as the star of the company, I nominate you to pick a drink on our behalf," I said, my voice laced with amusement.

Laughter erupted around me, and I chuckled along with them, relieved I had successfully dodged a trap, because let’s be honest, I wasn’t about to embarrass myself with a poor drink choice. Definitely not.

"Fine," Patron finally relented, giving in to the pressure from everyone.

"Champagne," he said simply. The bartender nodded in acknowledgment before briskly making his way back to the counter.

It wasn’t long before he returned, carrying a chilled bottle of champagne and an array of glass cups. He set them carefully on the table, offered a polite bow, and quietly stepped away.

"Let’s have fun!" Debbie announced excitedly, grabbing the bottle with ease. She twisted the cork, and with a loud hiss, it popped free, causing laughter and cheers to erupt around us. Smiling, she poured the golden liquid into our waiting glasses.

"Cheers!" Kaleb chimed in, raising his glass.

We clinked them together before I took a sip, the crisp liquid burning as it slid down my throat. My face scrunched, the harshness of the drink catching me off guard.

"Fuck," I muttered under my breath, but I kept drinking, watching my coworkers, who seemed completely unaffected by the harshness of the alcohol.

Before long, empty champagne bottles littered the floor, I could feel my whole body growing hot. My limbs felt heavy, my vision hazy, yet it seems my friends were just getting started.

As the music continued to play,  Kaleb approached, his grin wide and carefree. "Want to dance with me?"

I smiled politely, shaking my head. "I think I'll sit this one out, but you go ahead and have fun!"

He slurred as he scurried off, pulling Debbie’s hand, dragging her onto the dance floor. She laughed, as she went with him happily.

With a tired sigh, I turned to Patron, hoping he was ready to call it a night too. But instead, he poured another drink and slid the glass toward me. I hesitated for a second before sluggishly picking it up and draining it in one gulp.

He handed me another, but I shook my head. He chuckled and stood, stretching. "I would have loved to sit here with you, Nora, but I need to have fun," he said with a smirk before walking off.

A huge grin appeared on my face, my vision slowly becoming blurry, and as he walked away. His single figure suddenly appeared to be two identical version of himself, standing side by side, and immediately, I knew I was far gone, and I needed to escape as far as I could.

Slow and unsteadily, I stood up from the chair. unexpectedly, my foot caught in-between the champagne bottles causing me to stumble. Thankfully, I regained my balance and the bottle clashed against each other and it stood upright. I sighed in relief and I made my way out of the club, their laughter and giggles echoing through the air as I walked towards the exit with difficulty.

Finally I stumbled out into the fresh air, but my relief was short-lived, as the world began around widely, I quickly held my head, trying to understand what was happening, but my hands immediately fled to my churning stomach, and a terrible nausea hit me hard, making me feel like I was going to vomit any moment from now.

I whimpered in pain, not realizing a car was in front of me, until the driver slammed the horn, blaring a loud jarring blast. My eyes widened in shock and I froze, unable to move, my body stiff in surprise.

I knew the driver needed to pass the route I was standing on in order for him to be able to leave the club, but I just found myself unable to move, and it was as if time slowed down when the car door opened, and a man walked out of the car, under the flashing lights, and for a moment I was starstruck.

The man's chiseled features captivated me, his piercing blue eyes, a strong jawline, and full pink lips. His dark hair was perfectly tousled, outlining his perfect face. As our eyes met, I felt a strong connection towards him, as if drawn by an unseen force.

For the first time in my life, the stone-hearted Nora felt something—an attraction so rare it felt like a once-in-a-lifetime chance. One I couldn’t afford to let slip away.

“Are you okay?” His deep muscular voice inquired and I exhaled deeply, as his manly cologne filled my nostrils, making me unable to control myself.

“I’m not okay, but you can make me,” I slurred, unable to recognize my voice. This was unusual of me, but I just couldn’t help it.

“Wh….” Before he could complete his sentence, I pulled him close and I slammed my lips on his, he seemed frozen, but after a while he quickly pulled away, his eyes widened, his expression a mix of shock and be-wilderness. Unsure of how to react by my sudden impulsive kiss.

“W…what…are you doing?” He sputtered, still in shock, but I was unwilling to give up as I pulled him close and kissed him right in his lip, expecting him to push me away, but this time was different. His tongue slowly rolled into my mouth, and slowly, he pulled me close and he deepened the kiss, and before I could fathom what was happening, we were standing outside the club, devouring each other’s lips like out life depends on it.

I couldn’t help but feel a tingling sensation in between my legs, and as I was expecting him to go deeper, he suddenly jerked away from me, his face etched with regret.

“I… I’m sorry,” he apologized, moving backwards, and before I could say a word, he hurriedly toward his car. The engine roared back to life, and just like that, he was gone, swallowed by the night.

Confusion clouded my thoughts, but beneath it, I knew I’d found the one for me.

My perfect man!
