I woke up that morning feeling really tired but the dream I had was still etched to my memory. I could not understand it but deep down, I felt troubled. Something had to be really wrong somewhere but I tried to push it out of my mind.

Suddenly, there was a knock on the door.

"Come in." I muttered.

The door opened and Sylvia, my personal maid, walked inside, she had this look on her face.

"My Luna." She acknowledged me with a bow.

"Why the long face? Is something wrong?" I demanded.

"The Alpha is back." She said to me,

I quickly kicked off the quilt from my body as I got off the bed excitedly. My husband had finally returned after two weeks that he went on that trip.

"Really? When? Where is he?" I asked her.

"He got back last night while you were asleep." She responded.

That was strange. If there ever was a thing that I knew about Kaelin, it was the fact that he could not do without me. He would have already come to check on me and if I was asleep, he would climb into bed with me.

"Is he alright?" I asked her, recalling that there were hostile packs plus the rogue king's area on his way back.

"I don't think so, my Luna." Sylvia said.

"Then help me get dressed. And cease the long face, I don't want it ruining my morning." I said to her as I started moving to the bathroom.

"My apologies, Luna." She said,

Yet, her tone did not match the apology she was giving me.

"Where is Connor?" I asked her.

"He's out on an errand for the Alpha." She responded.

That had to be it. There was probably an issue somewhat and he had to tackle it. I decided that I would go welcome him myself before he gets busy again.

About an hour later, I had myself dorned in a royal blue dress with an open back that my husband had gotten for me on my last birthday. I had been itching to wear it for him all this while and I had my hair crown my head as it had been styled by the dutiful Sylvia.

I made my way to his bedroom and was told he already left for breakfast.

Why on earth would Kaelin have breakfast without me? That was really strange but I did not care.

As I walked towards the breakfast room, I noticed the stares and heads that were turning as I passed. It was almost like every pair of eyes were judging me which was really strange. The bows and greetings almost felt like they were skeptical about them but soon, I arrived at the dining room.

I was about to enter when I heard the sound of moaning.

"Faster...uhhh...go faster...hmmmm....yes... like that..."

That was the voice of a woman urging a man that was grunting like my husband to go faster than he was.

My heart was heavy when I pushed those doors open and I could not believe the scene that I was met with.

There was food on the floor scattered obviously from the hurry they had pushed it off in. And there was a woman, she was seated on the edge of the table with her legs around what would be my husband's butt as he was pumping into her.

His pants were riding around his ankles and he had his mouth on her breast that had been exposed from where he tore open the arm of her dress.

She had her fingers interlocked in his hair and their sweaty body seemed sticky.

My heart fell and I staggered.

"Kaelin!" I cried out, not believing the sight before my eyes.

He simply took his mouth for a moment and then looked at me. I could not recognise him. My husband's eyes looked like I was the worst thing that has ever happened to him before and there he was, glaring, unaffected by my pain as he kept pumping into her.

Soon enough they both climaxed together and I was just there on the floor, tears of horror and shock flowing down my cheeks.

Kaelin carefully pulled up his pants and buckled as the woman herself stood up, adjusting her dress.

"Oh, darling, you ruined my dress." She said to him,

"You shall have a dozen in replacement." He responded as he kissed her.

That was when she glanced my way, a look in her eyes that I would always say was aimed at sneering at me.

"Who's she?" She asked him.

"That's the witch. The one who blinded me." He said to her,

Witch? How?

I could not believe my ears as the further betrayal right in front of me was too much for me to bear. This was my allotted mate right here and he just called me a witch.

The lady herself pretended to be scared as she quickly hid behind him like I was some monster that would devour her soul.

"The witch. I don't want her to put a hex on me or our baby. Please, save me from her scorn." She said,

Baby? Did I just hear her say baby?

No, that could not be possible. My husband would never.

Or would he?

"Don't worry, my mate. I promise you, she would do nothing to harm you anymore. Guards!" He called out.

"Kaelin, what do you mean? I'm your mate." I cried out.

Just then, two body guards came inside and stood behind me where I was seated.

"Take this witch into confinement. Keep her there until I send for her." He said to them,

Before I could say anything, they both grabbed me by either side of my arms as they pulled me up.

"No, Kaelin, please. You cannot do this to me. Please." I cried out.

"Halt!" He said.

"My love?" She called him in that shrill seductive voice of hers.

"Excuse me." He said to her and then approached me. My heart was beating really fast as I was hoping that he had come to his senses. He suddenly reached down and pulled off the diamond necklace around my neck. "This jewel belongs around the neck of the Luna of the Red Moon pack. Not a witch."

With that, he nodded and I was dragged away.

A few moments later...

"In you go, witch." The guards that had taken me away said as I was pushed into a dark dungeon.

"No wonder she had no children. She's a witch." His companion said as they closed the door after them.

So this was it? This was the interpretation of my dream?
