Obsessive Love, The Mafia Boss

A shiny black luxury car stopped in front of the Starlight Club. The men in black suits from the cars in front and behind immediately got out to open the door. Kylen Dominic got out with an elegant style and a very strong charisma radiating. He adjusted his sunglasses and stepped into the exclusive night club with confidence. The bodyguards followed Kylen immediately, but they were blocked in front of the VIP room.

“Only Mr. Kylen can enter!” said a guard standing at the door. Kylen’s bodyguards were about to fight back, but were immediately held back by Kylen. 

“You guys just wait here!” the well-built man ordered.

“Yes, sir,” replied the bodyguards in unison. Kylen continued his steps into the closed room alone.

“Welcome, Young Master Dominic. I didn’t expect you to be so punctual,” said the old man who was waiting for him in the luxurious room. 

“There’s no need for much ado, Gerald. Just tell me what you really want from me?” 

“Hahaha. It turns out you’re a man of few words. In fact, I’d like to invite you to drink my best beer first.” Gerald poured the beer from the golden bottle with the dragon carved into the small glass in front of him. He then offered it to Kylen.

“Waste no more time, Gerald! Hurry up and tell me what you really want.” Gerald smiled as he got up from his seat. He approached Kylen with the drink. 

“Let’s start the negotiation right away, after you accept my small welcome,” Gerald said as he handed over the small glass. Not wanting to linger there. Kylen immediately grabbed the glass and downed it in one fell swoop. 

“What else?” asked Kylen in a challenging tone. Gerald chuckled as he sat down on the sofa earlier.

“Between you and Antonio. What makes you think I’m on your side?” Kylen’s eyes widened.

“No, I’m not. It’s a trap!” muttered Kylen. He twisted around to leave, but outside, his bodyguards were already lying with gunshot wounds on their bodies. “Shit!” Kylen cursed and ran away as dozens of gunshots were fired at him. Gerald laughed out loud at the sight. Meanwhile, Kylen immediately hid behind a pillar. Kylen took out a pistol from under his coat. Occasionally he returned fire, which managed to injure some of his enemies. Unfortunately, Gerald increased his troops, making Kylen run out of bullets. 

“Fuck it!” Kylen threw away his gun and ran out as fast as he could. Just as Kylen was about to open the door, an enemy bullet managed to pierce his shoulder. Kylen screeched in pain while holding his shoulder, which was immediately bleeding.

On the other side of town, Laura was checking on an old woman who had just fallen out of the bathroom. There were only a few bruises on her waist, but she couldn’t stand up.

“How is it, Doc?” asked the child.

“I think Mrs. Hanny should be taken to the hospital. She needs to be x-rayed,” Laura replied. 

“Alright. We will take her to the hospital immediately.”

“You can take her now. I’ll call my colleague to bring an ambulance here.”

“Are you sure you would recommend your father’s nearly bankrupt hospital?” The woman smiled dismissively. “In fact, I’m not even sure you’ve repaired all the outdated equipment.” Laura was silent. She realized Romano’s hospital’s current weakness. The private hospital built from the hard work of her parents was indeed in a bad crisis these days. Laura tried to smile.

“Alright. I think my business is done. I’m leaving now!” Laura left while carrying the makeshift medical kit that she always carried when serving patients outside Romano’s hospital. In order to maintain the hospital, Laura often went to patients who needed their help, as they rarely came to the hospital directly.

It was raining quite heavily outside. Laura opened her umbrella to protect herself from the rain. She chose to walk to save money. While walking, Laura thought about what Mrs. Hanny’s son had said earlier. She had worked hard enough to raise money, but it was not enough to buy new medical equipment for Romano’s hospital. Laura walked a little dreamily. She didn’t realize that a man was running towards her. Because they were both not paying attention to the road, the two of them collided.

“Oh, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to,” Laura said reflexively. Instead of replying to Laura’s words, the man pulled her by the waist, turned their bodies so that her back was against the wall of the shop and kissed her gently on the lips. The man looked surprised and momentarily broke the kiss.

‘Shit! Why are her lips so sweet,’ Kylen thought?

“Hey, where is that stupid man?” Gerald’s men had already arrived behind Laura. Kylen returned to kissing the girl more intensely. Kylen crushed her lips passionately, as if he wanted to possess her himself. Gerald’s bodyguards circled around the place, looking for Kylen. When they saw a pair of humans behind an umbrella. One of them was curious and tried to find out. However, he immediately looked disappointed when he found the two people kissing intimately. 

“Let’s search somewhere else! I’m sure he’s not far from here!” They finally left.

Laura pushed against Kylen’s chest and their kiss broke. She reflexively slapped Kylen hard on the cheek for harassing her earlier. 

“You bastard,” Laura swore. She spun around and was about to leave. However, Kylen suddenly hugged her from behind before she could take a step. “Let go! Let go of me, or I’ll scream!” threatened Laura. 

“Help! Help me,” Kylen mumbled softly. Laura felt her back suddenly wet, even though it hadn’t been hit by rainwater. She reached behind her to check and was surprised to see fresh blood there. Laura immediately faced Kylen again. 

“Are you hurt?” Kylen only nodded weakly. Then her body slumped to the wet street floor. Limp. “Oh, no. I’ll help you soon.” Laura examined Kylen’s wound. “The wound went through your shoulder, but luckily it didn’t hit your bone. It will heal quickly. Trust me!” Laura put down her toolbox and quickly applied treatment to Kylen’s wound. “This won’t hurt. I promise.” Laura took out an anesthetic injection and stuck it close to the wound. She professionally removed the bullet from Kylen’s shoulder. Then stitched it up very neatly. Kylen looked at the girl who looked very beautiful and sincere. In fact, she ignored the rain that was pouring down on her back, protecting Kylen and the wound on his shoulder. Kylen couldn’t help but smile a little. 

Laura was busy wrapping Kylen’s wound with a bandage. Even though she was beginning to dislike the look in Kylen’s eyes. It was piercing and made her nervous.

“Why do you keep looking at me? Is something wrong?” Laura asked, which made Kylen smile as he brought his face closer.

“There’s only one thing wrong with you... you’re too pretty,” Kylen replied, making Laura’s cheeks blush. Laura tied the bandage quite tightly. So Kylen groaned in pain. Because the anesthetic was no longer working.

“Not because you’re hurt. You can harass me again. Understand?” Laura quickly packed up her things. Then left the place. Leaving Kylen, who could only look away with a smile.

“Young Master. Are you alright?” Kylen’s other bodyguard arrived and immediately prepared a car to take him home. Kylen did not immediately reply to the man’s words, as he was still busy watching Laura’s shadow that was disappearing in the heavy rain.

“Get all the information about that girl!” Kylan ordered firmly.
