The Bonded Vampire's Willing Pet
The party was in full swing. I sat in the corner booth watching the gyrating bodies move, some more gracefully than the others.
I wasn't feeling it.
This was supposed to be my eighteenth birthday. I was supposed to be enjoying myself. After all, I had done so much in preparation for this day, even going so far as getting my fake ID days ahead of time. To me, it was inconsequential that it was against the law. I was officially an adult, that meant going all the way, and I was talking whiskey neat and bloody Mary's, but somehow I wasn't feeling it. Not even the slightest bit.
A disappointed sigh escaped my lips.
I craved the exhilarating rush of adrenaline and the whole situation wasn't giving me the rush I needed. Simply put, I was bored out of my mind.
From riding bikes too big for my size, to joining every underground race I could find and down to mastering all the self-defense techniques just for the fun of it. But here I was on my eighteenth birthday, expelling the seventh sigh of the evening.
I sighed again. Make that eight. Who knew breaking the law could be this uninteresting? Clearly, my friends didn't get it. Blake and Lila proved that point by swaying drunkenly towards me, making a very sorry attempt at holding on to each other.
"Darra. You are missing all the fun". Lila screamed. She waved her hand clutching a glass to the bit of music. She was too drunk to be holding it so high up. I briefly considered adjusting a bit to avoid her trajectory in case she decides to let go, but thought against it. It was too much of a bother.
"Come on". She yelled, swaying dangerously towards me, urging me to join them on the dance floor.
Subtly, I mumbled a quiet thank you to the DJ for the noise. I'm pretty sure I would have gone deaf from her screaming alone as she was too close to my ear for comfort.
"Thanks". I replied, pitching my voice a bit higher to be heard. "But I will pass". I finished hoping they would go away. Their breaths stank of too much alcohol and it was clogging my nostrils. I turned away from them nursing my martini, because at this point, there was only so much I could take.
Blake giggled, clearly finding something funny on top of his bad breath. He swayed dangerously, the precarious grip Lila had on him the only thing keeping him upright. How he managed to be this drunk when we'd scarcely spent close to an hour in this place was beyond me. Clearly, he found some interesting motivation.
He chuckled again, drunkenly turning towards Lila before facing me, his action not making much sense.
"She is right, you are missing out". He shouted "Baby come on, the energy here is to die for". He said promptly letting out a loud belch to my face and bursting into laughter, very pleased with his action.
I gagged in disgust, not bothering to hide the revulsion I felt at his silly antics. If I thought Blake was attractive before that night, well let's just say another emotion has taken precedence over that. His alcohol plus bad breath felt like the final straw.
Lila joined him, cackling heartily at my expense. I abandoned my drinking, standing to adjust my dress. Distance from the joyous pair still cackling around like a bunch of school children would do me some good.
"I'm out for a smoke". I mumbled. Not caring in the slightest if they heard or not.
My departure only made them laugh louder, greatly pleased with themselves. The urge to release my bladder suddenly became intense, and I took a quick detour to the bathroom. Lucky there were no lines, I found an empty stall to do my business, thankful for small pleasures before washing my hands and making my way to the back entrance.
The sign on the door read STAFF ONLY, but I've never been one to follow rules, so checking for possible witnesses and finding none, I continued on my part, now more than eager for that smoke. The alley was dark and a bit damp from the light drizzle earlier. Taking out my last smoke, I riffled through my small purse for the lighter I was sure I had packed, going to the extent of turning my little belongings onto the damp ground. Frustration trickled down my spine. Birthday or not, this night was just not my night.
I leaned against the wall and huffed. Irritation coating the sound, the cigarette followed the motion of my lips clamped around it. When I had moved it there was beyond me, but all the same, I did not care.
One second I closed my eyes and the next I found myself trapped by a heavy body. My eyes snapped open to see the figure that loomed before me. It was dark, and I could not make out his features. He stood over my 5'2" frame with a menacing air. His sudden appearance and predatory intent gave me pause, enough time for him to do something to me because i was suddenly weightless and pliable in his hands. My cigarette fell away, grazing my legs in its descent, the vulnerability of my situation had sudden comprehension dawn on me. My mind was ablaze with words and actions, but my body was weak and unresponsive. Panic synced my lungs, robbing it of air as his intimidating form pinned me to the wall. My mouth and body could not move an inch but i still knew the rough feel of the concrete behind me. I could still feel the heat of his warm body cocooning me from the sudden cold draft of the wind and when his large cupped my cheeks as he bent low towards my field of vision, I felt the possession in his movement. His velvet baritone voice caressed my cheeks as he whispered into my ear.
"Your offering is greatly appreciated, Pet".
I wanted to ask when I had offered anything when the sharp pinch of pain registered a second before a heady burst of pleasure followed. Ecstasy swamped me and in my mind i chanted 'yes' over and over again. This was it. I wanted the heady rush of adrenaline and I got it. The quick pull in my neck sparked all my nerves, ending up pulling dangerously in my lower belly and settling heavily in my clit. I was aware that my reaction was unprecedented given the circumstances, but just as i was ready to process the whole thing, including the sensation he brought in me, it suddenly and unexpectedly came to an unsatisfying end. He stroked my hair tenderly, then muttered a quiet "thank you" before he vanished into thin air, making it seem like he was never there. My whole world tilted on its axis as i slumped to the ground, my fading vision blurred dangerously, but it did in no way rival my resolve. I would find this dark and dangerous entity that wrought strange sensations in me. Even if I had to go to the ends of the earth, I would find a way.
I vowed, my heavy lids closing in exhaustion.
