Mira’s Revenge

CHAPTER ONE

MIRA

"Get out of the pack right now. I don't want a person like you as my Luna!" Lucas, the alpha, and my mate....no former mate, as he had just rejected me, stared at me in anger as he ordered me to leave the pack.

Tears were rolling down my cheeks as I shook my head.

"No, Lucas, you have the wrong idea. I didn't do anything wrong here, I am being framed, please listen to my explanation, I had nothing to do with what happened to your mother!" I tried to plead with him, but the only thing that Lucas had for me now was hatred.

I looked over at the person who had framed me, Lily, and she had a big smirk on her face as she watched me.

"Get out of the pack, Mira. I can't believe that you would do something like this. You are my best friend, but you harmed the mother of the alpha. I don't know why you did it but you need to be punished," Lily said righteously.

Anyone who heard her would definitely think that I was the one who really hurt Lucas' mother.

"Lucas ....can you please listen to me ..." I tried to take his hand, but he pushed me away with anger in his eyes.

"If you know what's good for you, you are never going to step a foot into this place from now on. You are now a rogue, and the fact that I am banishing you instead of killing you should already be be good enough for you," he said to me.

Despite my tears and pleas, I was still dragged out of the pack.

I was pushed down by one of the guards, and when I stood up and tried to enter the pack to talk to Lucas once again, the guard just pushed me harshly.

My head hit the ground, and I cried bitterly, but I knew there was nothing left for me.

I was just an orphan working in a bar when I found out that the Lucas was my mate. I was lucky to be brought to the palace by him and he treated me well.

In fact, he was preparing for the ceremony where I would become his Luna fully.

However, before that could happen, I was framed by Lily.

I had no idea why she did it, but I knew I had to figure out what to do fast .

Becoming a rogue....wasn't a good idea. Perhaps I could leave the pack for a few days until Lucas calmed down.

Then, perhaps, he would be willing to listen to me. Turning my head, I walked out of the pack.

I found myself in the woods and I sighed. I would just have to learn how to survive here for the next few days.

It was late at night when I heard some suspicious noises. At first, I thought it was some animal and I was prepared to ignore it, but I heard footsteps just then.

Some people are approaching me! My eyes flew open at once, and it took me some time to get used to the darkness.

I saw some people in black clothes with their faces approaching me. I could sense that they were wolves from the pack that I had just been kicked out of.

I got on my feet immediately, and realising that I wouldn't be able to fight back all of these people, I tried to run away.

However, they were soon after me. They were more than five of them, and no matter how fast I ran, they outnumbered me, and there was no way I would be able to get away from them.

My heart was beating against my chest and fear gripped me. Although I knew it wasn't of much use, I didn't want to give up. I didn't want to die, I really didn't want to die at all!

I continued to run, until I arrived at the edge of a cliff..

I looked down at the cliff and I swallowed a gulp. If I fell down, I would really die here!

"What....what do you want from me? Why are you chasing me? I already left the pack!" I yelled.

By now, the guards had surrounded me, and there was no where for me to escape.

"Because I asked them to chase you, Mira. Do you really think that I'd let you escape with your life? So you can come back and mess things up for me again?" I heard someone ask.

It was a familiar voice, ans I squinted my eyes, trying to see who it was.

The guards made way, and I finally saw the person approaching me.

It was Lily! It was bad enough that she had framed me and got me kicked out of the palace, but she was still trying to take my life? What the heck was this?!

"Lily, what are you doing? I don't think I've ever done anything to you, why do you want to get rid of me?" I asked her, tears rolling down my cheeks.

She sneered at me, "you are alive, don't you know that as long as you are here, the alpha won't ever make me his Luna? Even though I am pregnant with his child, you are the only one he thinks about! " She accused me.

I felt my heart sink into my stomach when I heard this.

"Preg...pregnant?"

Lily laughed out loud,a cruel look on her face. "Do you really think the alpha was loyal to you? We already had a relationship, but he wanted you to remain the Luna, while I remain hidden. Of course, I can't tolerate that, I have to make sure that you are gone! And the only way to do that is to make sure you're dead for good!" Lily said, she looked like the devil from hell, and I really could not realize this woman.

"No, Lily, please let me go, I promise you I won't show up in front of you or the alpha anymore....give me one chance...."

"Kill her," she ordered the guards.
