Isabella POV Today was the day that my boyfriend, Alpha Cassian, would propose to me and crown me as Luna in front of the pack council.

He had sent a letter to me the day before promising a grand ceremony and people from all walks of life were invited to witness the occasion.

I felt on top of the world, as many envied me because it was a rare opportunity to be crowned Luna of Alpha Cassian, who was every lady's dream.

Today was the happiest day of my life which was also the beginning of our fruitful years ahead.

All of a sudden, the doors jolted open, and the Alpha's brother, Casper, walked inside. His scent was strong and alluring, his steps were calculating, and his cold stare was fixed on me, who was busy with my makeup.

I turned to the door and saw Casper standing before me glaring at me.

My breath hitched causing me to quiver in fear.

Silence swept between us.

Casper was one of the unmated werewolves in the pack and there had been disheartening rumours about him abusing minors for his own advantage.

“So you are the bitch that wants to marry my brother “ he sneers, his words piercing me like sharp needles. I swallowed hard before finally lifting my eyes to look at him.

Casper had always disliked me from the first day I was brought here by Alpha Zachary after their father had saved me in the woods, but believed I was a spy.

“ I just thought of giving my sister in law a grand visit before she officially becomes the Luna of Blue Lake pack. His eyes were narrow, which emitted a dark aura.

My eyes widened as I opened my mouth in shock.

“ Visit me? Hope it's not that you are trying to spin your sob stories around “I asked, rolling my emerald eyes to look at him.

There was a peaceful expression in his eyes that left me speechless.

Has he finally decided to come around? That was the question burning on my lips.

Before I could say anything else, he matched forward, taking dangerous steps towards me, dragging my hair roughly, and shoving me against the glass wall.

He smirked at me.

I gasped in shock as I found him nibbling on my ear dangerously close to me.

Stay back, don't come any closer Casper,” I warned.

Is that any way to treat your future brother-in-law, especially one with such a big present for you?" He smirked, unzipping his pants.

I stumbled back, terror flashing across my eyes, but I held back, arms tight. I couldn't let him win, not when I'm so close to getting my happy ever after. I had to get out of here.

He grabbed my hair in fistfuls, pain erupted in every strand, and I screamed, "Let me go! Please..." I choked tears dripping down my face, "Please--"

Casper glanced at me and there was a familiar look in his eyes, the one that meant he was going to punish his enemies severely.

His face darkened, and he gritted his teeth.

My chest tightened with dread knotting in my tummy like the unknown was about to happen.

He slams my head against the edge of the wall with a sickening thud.

The moment he said that, I felt a sharp pain in my chest, choking on the air in my lungs, causing my chest to tighten.

I bit on his neck devouring him, breaking his ribs into pieces and bones apart with blood splattering all over my wedding dress.
