Chapter 71 Love

"You really do love me." Wen Zhan's warm palm continued to wander on Wu Yang's shoulder, a satisfied smile on his face.

"Love?" Wu Yang instantly jumped out of his arms like a cat with its tail stepped on, "How is that possible!"

Because he was too excited, Wu Yang couldn't control the strength of his hand. The pain in his chest made Wen Zhan snort and his forehead instantly broke out in sweat.

Wu Yang purposely twisted his head and said coldly, "You used to be my sister's boyfriend. How could I love you!"

"Besides, you and Jiang Manyao forced my sister to death together. I will only hate you!"

"?"

Without giving Wen Zhan a chance to speak, Wu Yang continued, "Seeing that you won't go crazy now, I still have something to do, so I'll leave first."

"I won't allow it!"

Wen Zhan slipped down from the bed in a sorry state and staggered to catch up with her, tightening his grip on her thin wrist.

Wu Yang shook his head, but he couldn't shake it off. He also cared about Wen Zhan's body, so he didn't dare to make any big movements, so he could only stand there with his neck blocked.

Wen Zhan pulled her shoulder, forcing her to face him head-on.

"There are many misunderstandings between us." "But believe me, I will never hurt you, Little Wan," he said.

"My name is Wu Yang." Wu Yang twisted his neck and stubbornly emphasized, "Wu Wan has already been forced to death by you!"

"I cough cough cough--"

Wen Zhan coughed non-stop, his shoulders bent and his back curled up. He was the most ordinary patient in the world.

Wu Yang pursed his lips and pretended to push him back impatiently, forcing him onto the bed.

"I haven't avenged you yet. Your life can't be lost just like that."

Wu Yang's words hurt people's hearts, but Wen Zhan smiled as if he hadn't heard anything.

He held Wu Yang's palm and gently pressed it against Wu Yang's chest.

"I can feel your love for me." He whispered and looked at her eagerly and expectantly, "Let's start over, shall we?"

Wu Yang thought that she would be soft-hearted, but she blurted out her rejection, which surprised her.

"Is it because of Yan Lang?" Wen Zhan was excited, and his pale face gradually turned red. "Are you in love with him?"

"Totally nonsense!" Wu Yang gritted his teeth and struggled free. He watched as a few red marks appeared on his palm. "What separates us is that life! There is only that life!"

Before his voice could ring in his ears, Wen Zhan could no longer see Wu Yang's figure.

He forcefully stood up and collapsed heavily because of the burden on his body. The sutured wound was impacted and blood seeped out faintly.

Outside the ward, Jin Wei reached out and stopped Wu Yang. He couldn't wait to ask, "Is he awake?"

After patting his face, Wu Yang quickly adjusted his emotions and said coldly, "He's awake. Also, he should have recovered his memories."

"Recover your memories!"

"You can call the doctor for further examination."

"Alright, alright, alright. I'll be right there. You--"

Jin Wei recovered from his excitement and could only see Wu Yang's back.

"This is a miracle! A medical miracle!" The doctor who was examining Wen Zhan looked at him from the side, and the flesh on his face trembled with excitement.

Jin Wei didn't doubt that if it wasn't for Wen Zhan's identity, the other party would have treated him as a case without hesitation.

Seeing Wen Zhan's unsightly expression, Jin Wei coughed from the side and raised his hand to block the doctor's overheated gaze.

"Alright, alright. Since Wen Zhan is fine, don't stay here anymore."

The doctor could not afford to offend him, so he had to promise.

Reaching out to close the door of the ward, Jin Wei sat down beside Wen Zhan's bed and looked at him like he was looking at a western scenery.

"Why did you suddenly regain your memories? It's only been two days. It's even more exaggerated than in the movies. I think the doctor just now wanted to dissect you for research."

"Shut up."

"…" Jin Wei's eyes widened as he raised his finger to the tip of his nose and questioned, "This is the treatment I received when I came all the way back?"

Wen Zhan originally held back a question and couldn't understand it, but his mind was buzzing with noise, and his temper instantly became somewhat uncontrollable.

"What kind of treatment do you want? You'll get everything if you quit your job."

Jin Wei spun around twice and said hatefully, "If it weren't for the fact that you're in such a sorry state, I wouldn't have bothered to care about you!"

After a long silence, Wen Zhan suddenly sat up and said, "Bring me the computer."

Jin Wei wanted to say something and swallowed it again, silently having someone bring the computer over.

Photos taken from Wu Yang's phone were placed on the computer screen one by one. Scroll through the sequence until the photo of the two of them appears.

"What is the truth?" Wen Zhan was rarely at a loss. He pointed his finger at Wu Wan's brilliant smile and retracted it as if he had been struck by lightning.

Jin Wei looked around for a while and asked, "Are you sure that the current Wu Yang is the previous Wu Wan?"

"Of course!"

How could he not recognize his lover who was with him at the temples of his ears!

"If Wu Yang thinks that Wu Wan's death is the truth, she should want to avenge Wu Wan," Jin Wei thought thoughtfully. "Therefore, her actions should be directed."

"Who did Wu Yang have the most hostility towards during your reunion? Perhaps we can get to know the story from the side."

"Hostility? Jiang Manyao! It must be her! I want her to pay for it!"

Wen Zhan couldn't help but feel like his heart was twisted by the thought of his bloody memories.

Perhaps it was a bit bad, but it was undeniable that the person who had rejoiced in his death was not Wu Wan.

"I'll help you hack into their computers and take a look." Jin Wei said.

"Yes."

Tightening the curtains, Wu Yang slept muddleheaded at home for a whole day until the continuous ringing of the phone woke her up.

"Hello?"

"Where are you now?" Yan Lang hurriedly asked. Her peach blossom eyes were extremely gloomy, like dark clouds rolling down before a storm.

"Me?" Wu Yang raised his hand and pressed down on the space between his eyebrows. His chaotic thoughts finally cleared up.

She picked up the blanket and stood up, the corners of her eyes gently swollen.

"I'm at home." She said lazily, "Is there anything you need?"

After a day of talking, his heart finally relaxed, replaced by anger and indignation.

Yan Lang pinched her palm and used all her strength to prevent herself from cursing angrily.

"I've called you hundreds of times and you haven't answered. Do you know how worried I am about you?"

"… I'm sorry." Wu Yang said softly.

Yan Lang raised her hand and wiped her face. She softly said, "Don't apologize to me. It's good that nothing happened to you."

Wu Yang smiled and hung up after saying a few words.

Looking deeply at the tightly shut door in front of him, Yan Lang turned around expressionlessly.

"Go investigate Wu Wan who died six years ago. No matter what you find, send it to me. You can't miss a single thing!"
