Chapter 426 Song Frost Meets the Child

Gu Baisheng nodded gently.

Looking at Song Frost's handsome face, his eyes were slightly sad,"This child ... is the same age as Xiao Shen ..."

Song Frost instantly understood, "Just because of this?"

Gu Baisheng lowered his eyes, unwilling to say more.

After all, the loss of her son was a scar on her heart that would never heal.

Say it one more time and it will hurt one more time.

No one wants to touch their unhealable scars over and over again and make themselves hurt.

"If you say so, I'll grant you your wish."

Song Frost's hand gently pinned the hair around her ear gently behind her ear.

When Gu Baisheng heard his response, a few moments of gratitude diffused into the pupils of her beautiful eyes, "Thank you."

Song Frost's fingers gently touched her cheek, "Go back to your room first, rest a little, and we'll go to the orphanage."

"Uh-huh."

Gu Baisheng knew that he was also tired after coming over early in the morning.

So go back and take care of him for breakfast.

He also told him about the condition of his stomach in the past few days before going with him to the orphanage.

The orphanage is on the western outskirts of Sioux City.

Somewhat out of the way, not far from the orphanage, are several factories.

The workers live in this neighborhood, and the surrounding amenities, though a bit simpler, are considered to be all-important.

The Su family knew that Song Frost was coming over today and had already greeted the director of the orphanage in advance.

The old dean was old, already in his sixties, probably because he had worried a lot about maintaining the orphanage when he was young, so before he reached seventy, his hair was already all gray.

She was standing next to the gate of the orphanage.

On a plaque by the door, five large letters are written —— Mercy Orphanage.

Gu Baisheng got out of the car with Song Frost.

The old dean then walked over towards this side, surrounded by several orphanage teachers.

"Mr. and Mrs. Song right? Hello there."

The old dean greeted the Song Frost couple.

Gu Baisheng nodded back, "Hello, Dean."

The dean and a couple of teachers looked like they'd been waiting for them for a while.

When he saw them coming, he rushed to welcome them inside the orphanage.

As we walked, we were introduced to the history of the founding of the orphanage and so on.

Probably because of the usual contact that attracts patrons who come to check out the orphanage, some of the history of the orphanage is spoken of in great detail.

Song Frost and Gu Baisheng had a clear purpose for coming over this time.

So, after listening to the other person droning on and on for half a day, he just asked, "We've brought the paperwork and want to see the boy today with my husband."

"The kid's name is Morn, right?" Dean confirmed.

Gu Baisheng nodded.

The dean then led Gu Baisheng and his wife forward, "This child can't speak, he's taking sign language lessons now, come this way."

Song Frost went with Gu Baisheng to the classroom where the children were learning sign language with the dean.

The dean was going to go to the door and greet the teacher directly and ask the teacher of the class to call Xiao Chen out.

Song Frost, however, stopped the dean, "I want to see how the child is doing in class first."

Dean understands that many people who come to adopt a child are concerned about the child's personality.

So, thinking that Song Frost was worried about the child's bad character and wanted to observe it first, he didn't stop Song Frost.

Just let him watch the kid outside the classroom, as he requested.

The kid was sitting in the last row of seats and listening very carefully.

Several of the kids around him were a little naughty, even looking around, as they learned to go through the sign language with their teachers.

He was the only one, from start to finish, who gazed at his teacher.

Concentration was not halfway gone.

There was even less sign of looking around and mingling.

"This child is very obedient, if Mr. Song is worried about his character, it's completely overstated, he's very honest."

Dean was selling Song Frost like a commodity.

Song Frost smiled slightly, "It's not quite appropriate to find the child out right in the middle of class, let's look elsewhere first and see the child again after he finishes class."

Sung Frost is in no hurry to come face-to-face with her child now.

The dean was a bit surprised, but still did what Song Frost said, "Then go wait in my office for a while for Jean first, there are about ten more minutes before this class ends."

The dean led Gu Baisheng and Song Frost to her office.

On the way, Song Shuang gently whispered in Gu Baisheng's ear.

Gu Baisheng then nodded and let Song Frost leave first.

Dean was a little surprised, "What's wrong with Mr. Song?"

"He had some side business and left for a bit."

The dean looked at Gu Baisheng who didn't explicitly say what exactly Song Frost's departure was because of.

So he didn't ask and led Gu Baisheng to her office first.

The orphanage was small, just a few rows of bungalows and a small playground behind the houses.

Song Frost walked over to the side of a small greenbelt, took her cell phone out, and dialed out.

The other side picked up the phone and asked, "Did you see the kid?"

"See." He replied.

"I've already checked all the information about the orphanage for you, and the email was sent to you."

"Uh-huh."

The other side added, "Honestly, I don't see anything wrong with this orphanage."

Song Frost said, "There may not be a problem with this orphanage, but there must be something wrong with that child."

"What's the problem?"

The people over there who were listening to him were curious.

"The boy is too obedient."

Hearing Song Frost say that the child was too obedient, the person over there couldn't help but laugh, "Too obedient isn't good enough, your wife is pregnant right now, if you find a naughty child who doesn't listen to you and lead him back, aren't you worried?"

Pregnant women are most afraid of messing around.

If you're carrying a child yourself and then have a naughty 5 or 6 year old around, how much worry would that pregnant woman have to deal with.

"Naughty children can be given to others to bring up, but those who are too obedient, Shing will definitely choose to bring up by himself."

Song Frost knows what kind of personality his wife has.

Because of what happened with the death of the first child, this child, if obedient and understanding, she was bound to keep the child on her side to carry.

And this child, so quiet and well-behaved, is clearly in trouble.

Especially since he had just gone to the classroom window to watch this kid in class.

Other children were inevitably naughty, but only this one, from the beginning to the end, looked at the teacher on the podium without slanting his eyes, as if he had already known that someone would be out there to see how he was doing.

Serious listening is overly deliberate.

The reason he was behaving the way he was, and to say that there was no intentional guidance from an adult, he would never believe.

"So what do you want to do?" The man on the other side of the phone asked.

"You know, I don't want to raise one more child."

He didn't want Gu Baisheng to adopt a child that was intentionally placed in their couple's life.

"Even if you don't like the baby, it's going to be tough to get your wife to voluntarily give up the adoption."

Song Frost pondered for a moment and said, "As long as there is something wrong with this child, I have a way to make Sheng Sheng give up on adopting this child."

"But if the boy was deliberately placed, it would have been done in a way that was perfect enough in terms of his birth to give you a reason to adopt him."

"There's no problem with his birth, but it can create problems for him."

The person on the other end of the line was silent for a moment.

Feeling that the idea Song Frost brought up was very feasible; "But what's wrong with making this child?"

"That's up to you, Luggins."

The corners of Lou Gingshi's mouth lifted up as he spoke in a very calculating manner, "I can think of a way to help you with this brat, but won't you give me a little favor?"

Song Frost smiled back, "What can I do to help?"

"Sure."

Lu Jing Si was also a sophisticated person, refusing to let go of any opportunity to gain advantage,"My company has an endorsement, and I think the image of that cousin of yours is very suitable."

"Song Yiyi?" It was really unexpected that Lu Jing Si had hit on Song Yiyi's body.

"Yes," Lou Gingers smiled, "I won't bother talking to him, you do that."

"You know full well I'm out of hand with him."

"It's because of the little feud between you brothers that I, as your friend, didn't go and hit the nail on the head."

Song Yiyi this person's acting career, from the return to China, gradually transferred to the mother Song Chaolu's hands inside.

Song Chaolu has been at odds because of his feud with his mother, Lin Fengya.

So, while controlling his son's career, he would never let his son work with Song Frost's best friend.

But Lu Jing Si wanted Song Yi to be the spokesperson.

So, Lou Gleason didn't bother to touch the wall and let him do so.

That's smart enough.

"I'll try."

"Don't say such ambiguous things, I know that if it's you, then it's okay."

Lou Gleason has a lot of confidence in him.

Song Frost nodded, "Wait for my news."

Lou Genesis knew that Song Frost's words were a guarantee.

What he waited for was definitely the good news that Song Frost had helped him solve the problem smoothly.

And not a bad news.

Song Frost, how could there be no way to deal with that little cousin of his?

...

"The Song Frost couple has arrived at the Mercy Orphanage."

The call from Su Cheng made Xiao Rong's eyelids raise.

Not far from the desk, Luo Xiaoran was walking over with hot coffee.

"I know."

Xiao Rong didn't want to talk to the other side in anything else.

Speaking softly, the opposite party had the good sense to hang up.

At this time, Luo Xiaoran was walking up to him.

Saw him hang up the cell phone call and smiled at him, "Brought you a hot cup of coffee by the way."

After Xiao Rong rejected her, Luo Xiaoran felt embarrassed and incredulous at the time though.

But after work, the two meet again.

Luo Xiaoran, however, had revitalized long ago.

The offense continued against him.

Xiao Rong accepted her coffee and raised her hand to gesture sign language to say thank you.

Luo Xiaoran didn't dwell on it, and after gently nodding her head, she left.

However, even without talking more to Xiao Rong, the colleagues next to her had already seen all the things she did in their eyes.

As soon as she left, the people next to Xiao Rong's desk began to whisper timidly ——

"Still not dead in the water?"

"Backwards a dummy, really can do anything for money ah?!"

"I don't know how Yui-san will clean her up when she finds out!"

"That's right, at least it's Yui little-sister who promoted her up, actually said to fall back on it, now she's full of heart and eyes, all are this mute, right?"

The muttering around them was incessant and getting louder.

Xiao Rong turned a deaf ear.

Instead, there was another voice, thunderous and nonchalant ——

"One and all don't have to work do they?!"
