The next morning, Du Xinzhu called them and apologized for her rude behavior yesterday.

Mrs. Hong laughed out loud. Lin Wan could not help but laugh along as well.

After a while, Lin Wan continued to ask, “What about Wu Heping? Is everything okay there?”

“Well, he’s already dead. What can go wrong? I already took over Nanyun Resort Hotel. I bet you didn’t know that they even do illegal businesses there. That place is terrible. I’m kind of regretting taking over that place.”

“What do you plan to do then?”

Upon hearing that, Lin Wan kept silent and pondered about Mrs. Hong’s decision.

It was Wu Heping’s number. Wasn’t he dead? Who the h*ll was calling her using that number?

After that incident, Lin Wan never went back to the school. Hence, that explained why she was unaware that the school had already hired a new vice-principal whose surname was Wang.
