“Honey, let’s not go to the hot spring. I’m worried that lunatic will come after us again. Let’s stay inside instead!”

Lin Wan was worried. She felt uncertain as that lunatic had attacked them multiple times. It was obvious that he was coming for them.

What she wasn’t sure of now, was whether he’s on his own or he’s from an organization. If it was the former, he’ll be much easier to deal with; But if it’s the latter, then they are in a very dangerous position.

Fang Qiang reassured hurriedly, “Lin Wan, don’t worry about it. I’ve already informed the security to step up their patrol and keep an eye out for an injured man. I don’t think he would dare to show up again.”

Du Xinzhu chimed in, “Yes, Lin Wan, that man is already injured. He wouldn’t have the guts to pay a visit to the hot spring. You don’t need to worry. The security will catch him for sure.”

Li Mu looked at He Xiaoyu, who shrugged her shoulders to indicate that she didn’t care if they went or not.

Everyone’s gaze fell on him. Li Mu hesitated for a moment and said to Lin Wan, “The fuss just now must’ve made everyone exhausted. Let’s go and have fun. We’ll be fine. I agree that he would not dare to show up anymore.”

Lin Wan nodded her head reluctantly and agreed with her husband’s decision.

The van hit the road again and the group soon arrived at the Hot Spring Club. They each picked out a swimming costume at the swimwear shop near the entrance, took the necessary toiletries, and walked into the club while laughing and talking.

Seeing the arrival of their boss, the lobby manager got up immediately to welcome them. After Fang Qiang exchanged a few words with her, they parted ways at the lobby. Lin Wan and the other women went to the women’s guest room, while Li Mu and Fang Qiang headed to the men’s guest room.

After changing, Fang Qiang said to Li Mu, “Li Mu, go ahead and have fun with the rest of them first. I have to talk to the manager about some unfinished work. I will meet up with you guys later.”

“Sure, go ahead. Don’t worry about us!” Li Mu didn’t think much of it and responded without hesitation.

After Fang Qiang left, Li Mu went to the hot spring area alone. He laid himself on a rocking chair at the resting area near the exit of the female guest room and waited for the three women to show themselves.

Within moments, the three women were seen walking out together.

Lin Wan changed into a pale pink one-piece swimming costume that amplified her figure to its maximum perfection.

Her upper body was particularly eye-catching, while her fair thighs were round and slender. Paired with her thin waist and hips, it made her look even more sexy and charming, as if she was a fairy descending on earth.

Fortunately, she had a sarong around her waist which hazily covered the view of her lower body.

Even so, her beauty drew a lot of side glances. Many men looked at her way unabashedly with a steaming gaze.

As most normal men would be, Li Mu felt a little annoyed. He felt uncomfortable when his wife was visually assaulted by another man, and that is him speaking as a very generous man.

Looking at He Xiaoyu, she was wearing a sports-style swimming costume. The black and white colors made her look youthful, lively, and pretty.

He Xiaoyu’s figure is not as voluptuous as his wife’s, and she was slightly shorter than Lin Wan too. But she definitely had what it took to be considered sexy. Though she was small and delicate, her charms were not diminished. In fact, she gave off the vibes of a young girl.

Du Xinzhu was comparably average amongst the two of them. Her body was slightly towards the chubbier side, with a small belly that caused her to lose some charm. But she also gave off another sexy vibe.

With the three beauties walking together, they drew the attention of many men. Some even whistled at them.

Lin Wan smiled as she walked up to her husband and said softly, “Honey, where do you want to go?”

“I want to take a dip in the hot spring. How about the rest of you?”

Lin Wan was sure He Xiaoyu would want to go with him, so Du Xinzhu had to follow the majority. She asked curiously, “Li Mu, where is Fang Qiang? Why hasn’t he come out yet?”

“He went to talk to the manager about some work and asked us to enjoy on our own first!”

“Really? Why did he choose to talk about work now? Couldn’t he make it earlier or delay it for a while?” Du Xinzhu muttered in dissatisfaction.

Li Mu who was the guest reassured her instead, “It’s alright. I guess it won’t take long, so let’s go have some fun first. He’ll join us later.”

They then headed to the hot spring area. Only when they got there did they realize that the area was quite small. It was divided into two parts, which were the indoor and outdoor areas respectively, with dozens of small and large pools in total.

The pools were divided by their temperatures, including high, medium, and normal temperature; and by their functional efficacy, such as medicinal, wine, milk, beautiful pools, and so on.

They found an unoccupied medium temperature pool and the four of them dipped themselves comfortably in the hot spring, each taking one side.

After dipping for some time, Li Mu began to sweat and felt as if his body had been cleansed, which was indescribably refreshing.

At this moment, Lin Wan’s mobile phone vibrated. She picked it up, had a look at it, and then put it aside again.

After a while longer, Lin Wan said to everyone, “Everyone’s thirsty, right? I’ll go get some drinks!”

With that, she got up to leave the pool and walked towards a corner of the hot spring area.

He Xiaoyu had been observing her ever since then, and when she saw her leave, she kicked Li Mu gently underwater with her foot. The latter opened his eyes to look at her. He Xiaoyu didn’t look back at him but instead got up to leave the pool.

They were so in sync that Li Mu didn’t even think twice and immediately followed along.

With a towel on her face, the half-asleep Du Xinzhu was unaware of what was happening around her. She didn’t know that she was now alone in the pool in just a split second.

Leaving the hot spring area, Li Mu caught up with He Xiaoyu and asked with a hint of surprise, “What are you trying to do again? Why are you acting so mysterious and asking me to come out here?”

“Let’s go catch her cheating on you!” He Xiaoyu said in a low voice.

“What are you babbling about again? Who’s cheating on whom?”

“Li Mu, Lin Wan left right after receiving a text on her phone. She claimed that she went to get us some drinks, but the water purchasing station is right in front. See for yourself, is your wife there?”

Li Mu looked towards the front at the water purchasing station about ten meters away. A few customers were standing in front of the counter, but Lin Wan was not to be seen among them.

If his wife had really gone to get them some drinks, then she should be there. But she wasn’t, so where exactly was she?

“Maybe she went to get some cash. Don’t talk nonsense if you have no proof!”

After saying these words, even Li Mu himself felt that it was a naïve excuse. Sure enough, He Xiaoyu scoffed, “Li Mu, do you think what you said made sense? Who still used cash to pay in this era? Don’t tell me she’s an alien and doesn’t know how to use mobile payment.”

Li Mu kept quiet and stared at the water purchasing station somewhat distractedly.

“Li Mu, Fang Qiang excused himself, while Lin Wan left after lying to us. Isn’t it obvious enough already? Even a fool could see what’s going on. I suspect they have used this opportunity to meet-up and cheat on you again.”

“D*mn, why does she have to lie to me again and again? What kind of woman is she? I really can’t understand her anymore, f**k!” Li Mu said with much hatred.

“No matter what kind of woman she is, I told you that the two of you do not suit each other. See, you just admitted that you can’t understand her too, so what’s the point of living this kind of life? For the sake of riddles and endless guesses? Li Mu, don’t you feel exhausted?”

Li Mu flung his hand in annoyance, “Stop it. Come with me to find for her!”

He Xiaoyu was satisfied. She finally found Lin Wan’s weakness, which was how much she loved to lie. Whether it was well-intentioned or not, she had been lying again and again, and these lies slowly wore away the bond between her and Li Mu as a couple.

At this point, He Xiaoyu believed that all it took was an opportunity. And that opportunity would make Li Mu reconsider his decisions. As a woman, she could feel that Li Mu was slowly growing feelings for her.

Anxious, Li Mu looked around for his wife.

At the same time, in a private room with its doors closed, Lin Wan stood there furiously.

The man in the room who leaned against the tatami leaned forward to grab her hand. “Lin Wan, don’t be mad at me. I’m doing this because I love you and I miss you a lot.”

“He’s my husband and we love each other. Of course, he’s worthy of my time and loyalty. You’re his best friend, yet you’re trying to molest his wife. Don’t you feel ashamed at all?”

“I admit that I’m ashamed. Even if that means I’ll have to bow down for forgiveness and confess my sins, I’m happy to do so. But that’s all because I love you. Please, Lin Wan, give in to me. We’ll date in secret, and they won’t find out.”

“Bah!” Lin Wan spat fiercely, “Fang Qiang, are you still a man? You’re such an assh*le for saying that! Haven’t you heard of the saying that a friend’s wife cannot be flirted with? Do you still take Li Mu as your friend?”

“Lin Wan, don’t be misunderstood. I just feel bad for you. He is a married man, yet he’s out there having a probable affair with his female colleague. That woman is here with us today, and there is no way you don’t know about their relationship. He’s not reciprocating your love and loyalty, so why should you?”

“Hmph, just because my husband is having a probable affair, so I’ll have to cheat on him as well? Why do I have to demean and punish myself for his mistakes? Do you think I am stupid? “No, I am never letting go.” Fang Qiang said stubbornly as he stood up and opened his arms with the intention of hugging Lin Wan.

Lin Wan dodged. With a twist on his elbow, she managed to take control and kicked him back onto the bed.

“Fang Qiang, my patience is wearing out. I’m warning you for the last time. If you ever dare to touch me again, I’ll not hesitate to let you wish you were never born.”

Fang Qiang did not say anything and hung his head low.

“Don’t you contact us ever again? You don’t deserve to be friends with us. My husband doesn’t know about this yet, and I don’t want to see the both of you get into a quarrel because of this. Please come to your senses, and stop this nonsense while you’re at it.”

Before Fang Qiang could respond, Lin Wan seemed to hear Li Mu calling for her.

Fang Qiang obviously heard it too. He raised his head while laughing sardonically, “Lin Wan, guess what? Your husband is searching for us. What do you think he would say if he sees us together in the same room? Ha-ha, you’ll never be able to defend yourself. All it takes is for me to admit that we indeed have an affair. Do you think he’ll forgive you?”

“Do you really want to end things so miserably for the both of us?” Lin Wan asked calmly.

Fang Qiang scrunched his face up and said through his gritted teeth, “Yes, If I can’t have you, no one will! Even if it’s just causing a divorce between the two of you, I’m happy to do so! But well, if you can agree to a hookup for just once, I’ll help you talk things out.”
