After listening to Li Mu, Shen Ming’er got an idea at once. She told Shen Zixing, “Zixing, you don’t have to take care of this. Leave them to me!”

She got up and walked out of the room after that. After a while, she returned and continued sleeping with them after locking the door.

They slept through the night and woke up after the sun was up. Tossing in bed, Li Mu refused to get up. Suddenly, he heard a police siren sound downstairs. At first, he did not bother to check on it and thought it was just passing by.

However, someone came to knock at their door after a short while. “Open the door! We are cops!”

“Cop?” At once, Li Mu got up in a shock. He did a crap kip-up and the girls were startled. They got up in a daze and looked at him confusedly.

Before they could have asked him anything, the cops knocked at the door again. “We’re cops. Open the door now!”

“Coming now!”

Li Mu shouted and signaled the girls. With a low voice, he told them, “Control their mind and ask them to let us go and check the others.”

Subsequently, he opened the room door and saw three cops in uniform standing there. One of them was in front of the door while the other two were at the sides, and the girls could not see them.

Shen Zixing was a clever girl. She knew they had to wait for the right time to trick them. One of them might respond oddly and cause his colleagues to be suspicious if she did not get to control all of them together. Then, they would be in trouble. The cop at the door entrance glanced at Li Mu and the girls for a while.

He asked, “What is your relationship with them?”

“I’m their brother!”

“Show me your identity card!”

Li Mu wanted to walk back and pretended to look for the identity card in the backpack. Meanwhile, he said, “Mister, something strange happened last night. I am about to go and report to you. I did not expect you to come before I go to you.”

“What’s the matter?” The cop walked into the room.

“I think I heard somebody wanted to commit suicide. Probably not one but a few of them wanted to kill themselves!” Li Mu purposely raised his voice.

The other two cops outside the door heard what he said and went into the room immediately. There came the chance. Li Mu ordered in a low voice, “Do it now!”

Li Mu breathed a sigh of relief and said to the girls, “We can’t stay here anymore. Let’s pack up and leave this place now!”

Hurriedly, they packed up their stuff and left the inn with their backpacks on.

They didn’t dare stay anywhere in the town. So they hopped into a big truck and escaped to the south. They got down from it and waved goodbye to the driver when they arrived at a city.

Li Mu learned his lesson and did not rent a room in the city. Instead, he went to a small neighborhood at the outskirt and planned to rent a house there.

It was an ordinary neighborhood. Its surroundings were a little deserted and the opposite was a park. Besides, there was a wholesale farmer’s market across the park. They could do grocery shopping conveniently there.

This place was good for them because their camera monitoring equipment was not dense with very few cameras. This helped them to hide perfectly here.

“Can’t you find them using your ability to trace Qi?”

Li Mu patted his thigh and said annoyingly, “Why didn’t you tell us just now? We should have got down from the car there then.”

After their discussion, they started looking for tools like shovels, rope, crowbars, and others to open the coffin. They got one for each of them.

However, she did not expect Shen Xingyue to come into the scene. She was caught off guard and was almost taken over by Miss Shen.

Nevertheless, he still had to find ways to survive though he was angry with them.

They left not much cash after paying the house rent. Three of them only got to eat two meals every day. However, the rate they spent the money was quite fast. They would face starvation very soon if the situation did not improve.

The girls had never watched television before. They were amazed by it when they first saw it. Very quickly, they fell in love with it.
