Chapter 207 Found the Entrance Dug by Thieves

Mrs. Hong’s behavior was confusing. Meanwhile all people knew she had her intention and it must be designed carefully.

Lin Wan got her voice, “Mrs. Hong, why do you have such an arrangement?”

Mrs. Hong smiled brightly at others, “Don’t you forget? Who doesn’t need to have dreams in the Dream Valley?”

They seemed to understand the arrangement.

Lin Wan asked uncertainly, “Do you worry that the destruction will trigger traps and the consequences will fall on Lin Kun?”

“Yes!” Mrs. Hong answered clearly, “If the consequences fall on Lin Kun, he would have some more dreams. But these sisters are different. The consequences make no influence on them.”

Others nodded, too. Li Mu asked the sisters, “How do you think of it? It’s okay if you feel uneasy. I can go alone.”

To his surprise, the sisters seemed too eager for these. They wanted to blast just now but failed because of Lin Kun’s total rejection. Now asked to set bombs, they agreed with no hesitation.

Bang! Bang!

With continuous blasts, rocks and boulders exploded with the destruction of the statues.

After the last statue collapsed, all people gathered before the stone door, finding the two gates closed tightly without any changes.

That was weird. Why couldn’t they open the door with the destruction of all traps? Or must they use the right way to unlock the door?

These seven people studied the door for a solution. Mrs. Hong’s asking interrupted suddenly, “What’s the sound?”

Shocked nerves jangled in others. Sound? Where was the sound?

“Listen carefully, dudes. There seems to be wind.” Mrs. Hong continued.

Others kept their breath to hear even the faintest sound. No sounds! Li Mu laughed, “Mrs. Hong, would the blast kill your hearing and cause you some illusions?”

“No!” Mrs. Hong certainly repeated, “I can definitely make sure about the sound. It should be wind.”

Seeing her serious look, others knew she wouldn’t address any careless things now. So they listened again.

After a while, Little Brother Li stood out firstly, “I have heard it. It’s the whirring of winds. Sounds like the flow of air. It might occur there.”

Speaking this, he pointed to the statue across the door.

Across the door was the statue of the bald statue. It had become rocks covered on the ground. Li Mu thought the sound came beneath the rocks.

Others followed. And they all heard the whirring after coming near the rocks.

Lin Kun was uncertain, “The whirring came from the rocks. Will there be a hole covered?”

Li Mu was astonished then padded his legs and said loudly, “The entrance dug by thieves! I can never imagine the entrance dug by thieves was beneath the statues. Everybody, we have the chance to save ourselves.”

Wild with joy, all people moved the rocks aside. There was indeed a hole. Cold wind whirred from the hole. Walls in the hole appeared with remarkable traces of digging. No doubt it was the entrance dug by thieves.

They were all excited. Lin Kun wanted to jump into the hole. Mrs. Hong dragged him and told others, “Calm down. It’s weird. We might be stuck in trouble if we just go in now. Let’s make things clear and then act.”

“Mrs. Hong, what do you worry about?” Lin Wan asked.

“I can’t understand one thing. You can see the hole is beneath the statue and there are no other holes next to the statue. So how did the golden diggers come out?”

“Is there any possibility that they didn’t get out and returned the same way when they found the statues blocked their way?” Li Mu put forward his assumption.

“This assumption seems impossible. Since they dug the hole that leads here, there was only one step to success. Why didn’t dig next to the entrance after they were blocked? It can’t make any sense.”

People powdered and agreed that it was weird.

Mrs. Hong continued, “And did the backpacks showed up in the stone forest mean that they have been out? Now there is no other hole except the only one beneath the statues. How did they move that statue?”

Lin Wan agreed, “Mrs. Hong is right. Before this thing is figured out, we can’t act in a hurry.”

The loud rumble interrupted their words. Shen Zixing called, “Brother Mu, that stone door opened!”

All attention was drawn to the end of the corridor. Finding the door open slowly with all white behind, nobody could see what was behind the door. They looked at each other and didn’t know the meaning of the door’s open.

Li Mu shook his head to Lin Kun and indicated to go with him. But a suction came behind the door, which was too marvelously powerful to resist.

With screams, He Xiaoyu was the first one to be dragged in. And then were Lin Kun and Mrs. Hong. Li Mu embraced Lin Wan without any other reactions. And then they were dragged in the scream of the sisters.

Bang! Little Brother Li’s back hit the ground. All his body hurt. Ignoring the pains, he asked Lin Wan worriedly, who was in his embrace, “Honey, are you okay?”

“I’m fine, Honey. How about you?” Madam Lin sobbed.

At the moment of falling, Li Mu forced himself to roll under Lin Wan. A gesture was better than any words. Now Madam Lin was too painful for Li Mu’s hurt to speak.

“Lin Wan! Lin Wan!” Mrs. Hong wobbled to them and helped them to stand. Li Mu felt cold behind his neck. After a touch, he found it was bloody.

Lin Wan screamed and checked his wounds.

But Li Mu called, “Xiaoyu! Xiaoyu! Where are you?”

“Li Mu, I’m here. I can’t stand up.” He Xiaoyu’s cry came from a distance.

Before checking his own wounds, Li Mu rushed to He Xiaoyu. Kneeling on the ground, he cuddled her slightly. His tears dropped painfully.

Mrs. Hong and Lin Wan run around. Mrs. Hong checked her legs and said calmly, “Ah! Her both legs are broken. Things get worse.”

Lin Kun approached. He held one of his arms and cursed, “My left arm is broken too. F*ck the Shen Family. I should have burnt their ancestors’ graves.”

Lin Wan frowned, “No quick tie, no splints, nothing left. What should we do?”

Mrs. Hong decided instantly and told Lin Wan, “Try to stable her condition. Her wound can’t be worse. Further treatment can only be available outside.”

Mrs. Hong and Lin Wan immediately take out a kind of purple ointment and put it on these three people’s wounds. Surprisingly, after this, both the pain and the bleeding ended. But He Xiaoyu still couldn’t stand up and Lin Kun’s left arm couldn’t be used anymore.

Seeing Li Mu always cuddling He Xiaoyu, Madam Lin suggested naturally, “Clumsy as you. Just let me hold her.” Instead of using a soft voice, Lin Wan behaved rudely to grasp He Xiaoyu into her embracement.

Mrs. Hong told Lin Wan, “Lin Wan, let Xiaoyu take a snap. Snaps help her wound heal.”

“Okay!” Lin Wan answered. She caressed He Xiaoyu’s body slightly. Not a while, He Xiaoyu closed her eyes and then filled into a deep sleep.

“Mrs. Hong, what the hell is now?” Lin Kun was puzzled.

“I don’t know what happened. The sisters blew up the statues but we are dragged into the traps. It’s totally unacceptable!” Mrs. Hong frowned.

Li Mu’s attention was fixed on He Xiaoyu. Shot by two angry glances from Madam Lin, he finally moved his eyes.

Little Brother Li smiled with embracement, answered Mrs. Hong immediately, “Nothing needs to be figured out. I know the results of the golden diggers.”

Mrs. Hong continued his words, “Li Mu, you mean the same as us, they were dragged into the traps and transferred to the stone forest.”

“Yes, we all must unlock the trap. We can leave with a solution, or be transferred nowhere if we can’t unlock the trap. People who can’t unlock the trap are just nobody, anywhere would mean death to him. The answer is simple.”

“Then how was he dragged into the trap? Burst out of the mud?”

“No, Mrs. Hong, that statue must be movable. After the statue moved and the hole appeared. Then people are dragged into the trap.”

The other three nodded. Lin Kun suddenly asked, “There is a bug in the explanation, Brother. That hole can’t be dug by only one person. There must be several people but not a person. But we only find one backpack. Where are others?”

Li Mu sunk in thought for a while asked him, “Let me guess. The statue is the key point to trigger the trap. They dug the hole, finding a stone block on the way. They couldn’t use explosives there. So what would they do without thoughts?”

“Try to push, to dig and to destroy it!” Lin Kun answered.

“Yes. That narrow hole can only hold one man. So if the first one touches the statue, the next one doesn’t know. And then the first one disappeared. The next one touches the statue again. People were dragged one by one. Failed to unlock the trap, they were transferred everywhere. We happened to meet one of them.”

Mrs. Hong smiled coldly, “I think they can’t act without reasons. The next one may think their people find the entrance of the gold, worrying that they can’t get gold anymore. So they continue to touch the statue without other thoughts.”

Li Mu told others, “We don’t need to know the deep reasons. Now talk about our troubles. Everybody, if we can’t find the solution, we will be transferred anywhere. Because of the absence of the sisters, we don’t have guardians anymore. It’s not easy to return to the place where we start this adventure.”

All faces became grim. If it really happened, others might solve the problems but the way for He Xiaoyu, who had lost her ability to move, was death.

Mrs. Hong looked around and asked others, “You might look around to see what this is.”

They all noticed the surroundings. This was another square. But it was round instead of being a rectangle. The square was not large but it was surrounded by doors, which were all the same.

In the middle of the square was a sandy hourglass. The sand flowed down. It seemed the time had been wasted for a quarter.
