A week had passed in the blink of an eye. Today was the weekend, and Murong Xue had an appointment with Gu Ming and others. She had wanted to go back to A province, but she could only meet them in the capital because of Huangfu Yi.

"Yi, my friends will come over today." Murong Xue told Huangfu Yi, who was following her.

Huangfu Yi got upset and asked sulkily, "Are they those who came over last time?"

"No, they work with me. So I'll be busy today and have no time for you." Murong Xue comforted him in an apologetic tone.

Huangfu Yi did not like that so many people were around his sister, but he chose to follow her words, "Okay, I know."

Gu Ming, Luo Shengfei, and Mo Ziwen arrived at noon, and they began to discuss Rise Group's expansion after lunch.

Mo Ziwen had been glaring at Huangfu Yi since he came in. He had no idea when Huangfu Yi began to be around and live under the same roof with Murong Xue, which could be a potential threat to her from his perspective. Mo Ziwen tried to show his disapproval with his eyes.

Murong Xue briefly introduced them to each other. Huangfu Yi ignored everyone except Murong Xue, so she could only explain to others about him. She knew that they worried about her safety, but she believed that Huangfu Yi, who only had the mentality of a five-year-old child, would not hurt her.

"Okay, now let's talk about our expansion. I agree with Luo Shengfei that we are not ready to step into the capital with a weak foundation. I have been very naive before, so I have revised my plan. What do you think? Is it practical?"

They took over the printed documents and read them carefully.

While they were reading, Murong Xue was making a thorough explanation, "Since the market in the capital is saturated, we can adopt a different path which starts with the countryside, progresses with cities, enters the capital later, and goes global at last. In this way, we'll be strong enough to compete with others in the capital if we gain markets in the countryside. If you find any problems, point them out and we can discuss together."

Luo Shengfei closed the documents with an appreciative look. He thought that Murong Xue was as good as him in doing business, so he felt lucky to have the opportunity to work with her. Besides, she never doubted his decisions and trusted him, taking them as friends instead of subordinates, for which he was glad that he could be devoted to such a leader.

"Xue, I think it's a good plan, but there are problems, men and money. We need lots of men and funds to open markets in the towns and villages, but I know we can't afford such investments in terms of our current profits." Luo Shengfei raised a question.

Mo Ziwen thought for a while and said, "I want to merge Mo Group into Rise Group. Xue, let me finish. I have fully considered it. Mo Group needs money for development, and Rise Group's Security Department is still undermanned with a limited supply of veterans. We have to send out almost all our men to guarantee the smooth operation of our own industries now, let alone offering protection and insurance business in the future. Therefore, the merger is a win-win solution, and it will be much easier for me to concentrate on only one department."

Murong Xue did not refuse him because she knew he was right and she would be the one who benefited the most from the merger. So she decided to draw up another contract and give him the largest share of the Security Department's dividends.

"Gu Ming, what do you think?" Murong Xue asked Gu Ming, the only one who had not spoken yet. As the calmest and wisest man among them, he always considered more than others.

"They two have covered the basic problems, so I want to talk about Baoyu Pavilion. I have billions in hand and two pieces of the finest jade, one of which can be on the auction. These will get us enough funds. As for men, we can send our outstanding employees in the headquarters to work as managers in local branches and hire local people to fill the left openings. I can accept the merger proposed by Ziwen, but we need a new contract and Ziwen will be given 60% of the Security Department's dividends. Do you have any objections?" Murong Xue looked at Gu Ming and Luo Shengfei.

Both of them shook their heads to show their agreement as they knew the Security Department was different from others, which would need to merge local gangsters and thus risk their lives. They would not say anything even if Murong Xue wanted to let Mo Ziwen have the whole department to himself since it was all his work. As for other departments, Murong Xue had contributed the most, and credit went to everyone, which made the Security Department special. Anyway, Rise Group would benefit a lot from it.

Mo Ziwen wanted to raise objections about his dividends. How could he get so much? But Murong Xue forestalled his refusal, "Ziwen, don't say no. I have wanted to give the whole Security Department to you, but Rise Group needs it. We're a team, so this decision is fully considered. That's final."

"By the way, Xue, what are the jades you mentioned? Are they valuable enough to raise expected funds?" Gu Ming added.

"One is 'fortune, prosperity, and longevity' and the other one is 'five blessings at door'. Combined with the billions in my hand, it can offer enough money. Besides, Rise Group's returns are quite handsome. All of these are enough for the flow of funds. Even if we're underfunded then, we can choose to only invest in the better places and give up others, whose impact won't be significant."

"Okay, we'll let the Accounting Department do the statistics and send the report to you later. That’s final." Gu Ming concluded.

Murong Xue spoke with ample confidence, "You know, I want to expand our business to agriculture, fruits, and vegetables. You've tasted the dishes at noon, and I tell you it's delicious all because of the materials instead of my cooking skills. With this and our medicine, I believe we could go global soon."

They were amazed at what she said as they always thought she was a good chief and they never expected that it was the material that mattered. Despite the shock, however, they were hopeful about the future as Murong Xue always worked wonders.

Murong Xue continued, "Thank you, guys. I know the work bothers you a lot as I'm not always around." As she was still a college student, the company was all on the three of them, so she was guilty. Moreover, she relied on the memories in her last life to become friends with them.

"Xue, why do you say that? It's my luck to meet you. Otherwise, I can't imagine what I've become now." Gu Ming opposed her idea.

"I won't say anything sentimental, but I'm happy to work with you." Luo Shengfei said sincerely.

Mo Ziwen said nothing because he had already vowed to her and he knew she would understand him.

Murong Xue smiled and came forward to give her partners a hug, "Thanks. I'm glad that I can meet you guys. I know you can stand out and even become better without me."

They felt warmed when hearing what she said and they had the same feeling about meeting her.

Huangfu Yi saw how his sister got along with them and became more worried. He found she had many people around her and each of them seemed very important to her.

Gu Ming asked Murong Xue worriedly when they walked to the door, "Xue, is it okay that Huangfu Yi hears what we talked about?" After all, what they talked about were trade secrets.

Murong Xue smiled, "Relax. He is on our side, and it doesn't matter even if others know about our plan. As long as I have the technology, others can't steal what we have now."

Since Murong Xue made such a promise, they could not say anything to persuade her. As the plan was made now, they could not stay in the capital any longer. The three decided to return to A province today.

Murong Xue was asked to go back when she only walked them to the gate.

Coming back, Murong Xue saw Huangfu Yi watching TV quietly in the living room, and she walked over, "Yi, nothing good on TV?"

Huangfu Yi shook his head and answered in a low voice, "I don't like it."

Murong Xue thought about it and knew that he was tired of staying at home all day. She worried about his safety and he had not restored his memories, so she had not taken him out yet. But now Murong Xue felt sorry when she saw he was down. It seemed that a child, who had been spoiled, felt aggrieved. She wanted to give him some treat to cheer him up, "Yi, do you want to go out?"
