Xiaobai slept on both ears. When Murong Xue came back after helping cleaning, she even saw Xiaobai drooling in the grass.

Murong Xue gave it a kick and Xiaobai's chubby body rolled over.

Murong Xue pointed at the sky and then the ground and put on an innocent face, "I don't know." She knew her kick was not hard enough to hurt Xiaobai.

Xiaobai pursued in doubt, "You really don't know?" Looking around, it saw everyone else busy doing stuff, so it had to be Murong Xue.

Murong Xue held it in her arms and dried its fur with her spiritual power. "You must run into the river yourself. Perhaps you were sleepwalking." She just blatantly lied about it.

Xiaobai felt warm and comfortable because of the spiritual power, so it closed its eyes and forgot the incident.

Murong Xue's lips arched into a smile when she found that Xiaobai was naive enough to be deceived by her.

The smile on the corner of Murong Xue's lips was like a crescent moon and her watery and jade-like eyes were captured by the other four, which made their hearts suddenly race fast. It was hard for them to believe that people like Murong Xue could be so divinely beautiful without being repellent.

None of them wanted to interrupt the atmosphere, so Zhao Qi and Zhu Ming slowed their walk and the four began to roast the meat of the giant-tooth beast in silence.

After a while, the smell made their mouths watery.

"Mu Tian. It's done. You can eat now." Lin Nan took a string of meat, which was roasted first.

Murong Xue took over and smiled, "Thanks."

"I want to try some, too." Xiaobai felt its belly.

Murong Xue tore the roast meat and shared it with Xiaobai. Then she took a bite and froze. Although the meat smelled good, it tasted awful.

The meat tasted just like meat with a little salt. Due to the lack of other ingredients, the meat still smelled like blood. Therefore, it was hard for Murong Xue to swallow it down.

After a while, Murong Xue gave up and put it down, walking up to others. Lin Nan and the others were still cooking the meat and they seemed to have eaten some. Strangely, they made no complaints, and it made Murong Xue doubt if something was wrong with her taste buds.

"How did you do the roast meat?" Murong Xue asked.

Lin Nan took a look at the meat in Murong Xue's hands and said awkwardly, "It's not to your taste? I think it's good. The food in restaurants outside is no better than this."

Murong Xue's lips twitched and she began to wonder how awful the food could be on the Fengyun Continent.

She could only walk up to their campfire helplessly and asked Zhao Qi, the one busy cooking the meat, "May I have a try?"

After Zhao Qi opened the bottles, Murong Xue used a knife to leave cuts in the meat so that the ingredients could be absorbed better. Then she brushed it with some barbecue sauce.

Soon, the savory smell was all in the air.

All of them took a swallow.

Xiaobai ran to Murong Xue at once, "Give me some. Give me some." Although it had eaten many dishes cooked by Murong Xue, it could never get bored of her cooking because all the dishes were so delicious.

"Take it easy!" Murong Xue brushed it with honey and roasted it for another little while. The giant-tooth beast's meat grew golden and crystal, which made it more tempting.

Before Murong Xue could cut it into slices, Xiaobai jumped up and took a bite.

"Ow! Hot! Hot!" Xiaobai kept jumping.

"You deserve it. I told you to wait." Despite the mockery, Murong Xue took a glass of water from the Space and gave it to Xiaobai.

After drinking the spiritual water, Xiaobai felt much better and clung to the meat again.

Speechless, Murong Xue gave Xiaobai a hunk of meat that was even larger than Xiaobai and started to roast another piece of meat.

The other three heard their conversation. They said nothing grateful, but they all felt the same about Mu Tian.

"You are so daring to be at ease while eating roast meat, you green boys?" An old man's voice came not far away.
