Chapter 3 Roommate and the Siamese cat

"The Siamese cat? Where did you come from?" An Xia recognized this cat. Its ears, face, four claws, and tail were all black, and the rest of its fur was as white as snow. She was dumbfounded because she did not have a cat, nor did she notice when the cat had curled up in her bag.

The Siamese cat glanced at her with a cold and unfriendly gaze.

It ignored An Xia and stepped on the bed with its fluffy claws. It looked around the bedroom as if it were examining its new home.

"Hey, kitty, who exactly lost you?" An Xia only felt that it was cute. She leaned her head over and saw that there was a silver plate on its neck, engraved with the words 'Yu' with no contact information.

Of course, the cat could not speak. An Xia reached out and wanted to hug it.

She was born with extreme interests in furry things.

"Swoosh -"

Unexpectedly, before she could touch its soft fur, a claw swung over, leaving three claw marks on the back of her hand.

"Hiss——"

An Xia was in pain and retracted her hand as if she had been electrocuted.

The Siamese cat stood in front of her and stared at her coldly, as if saying, "Try touching me again?"

"It's shy in front of a stranger, I understand." An Xia comforted herself. She was not angry at all. When at home, her family was allergic to animals and had never had any pets. She did not expect to bring a kitten home on such an unlucky day.

The Siamese cat ignored her, walked to the bedside steadily, and jumped onto the windowsill.

The sunshine was comfortable. It took two steps, squatted down, and rubbed its sharp ears with paws, looking extremely cute!

In order not to disturb it, An Xia quietly took out her mobile phone and took two photos towards the window. Then she posted on her WeChat friend circle, hoping that her friends could spread the news and find out whose cat it was.

After doing this, she lay on her side on the edge of the bed and browsed the cat racks, cat litterbox, and cat food from the supermarket online.

"An Xia, An Xia! Did you find the Siamese cat? Let me see it, where is it?" A loud voice suddenly came from the living room. An Xia twitched her mouth. Just from the urgent words, she knew that her roommate, Wen Shu, had gotten up.

She was afraid that the Siamese cat would be frightened, but it sat against the light and didn't move, like a monk in meditation.

"It's here. Come in!" An Xia got up and opened the door. Wen Shu was wearing silk pajamas, looking at the room excitedly.

"It really is the Siamese cat!"

Wen Shu was overjoyed. She ran to the window with a smile and hugged the cat to her chest.

"Eh..." An Xia wanted to say something but stopped. She was worried that the cat would be suffocated to death by her chest. She also wanted to say that the cat had a bad temper.

"Swoosh -"

The Siamese cat scratched Wen Shu's neck without hesitation.

"Ah!"

Wen Shu was no exception. She was treated the same as An Xia. She was so scared that she quickly threw the cat away. Just now, she was still very close to him. But now, she treated it like a bomb.

The cat's movements were clean and neat. It rotated 180 degrees in the air and landed firmly on the ground with four feet, meowing unhappily.

"An Xia, what did you find? Has the cat been vaccinated? Does it carry viruses? Is there a parasite?" Wen Shu covered the scratch marks on her neck and paled in fear.

"If I knew where I found it, I wouldn't send its picture to the WeChat friend circle." An Xia shrugged helplessly. She took out iodine and cotton swabs from the drawer and handed them to Wen Shu. "What are you going to do? Will it affect the live broadcast?"

Wen Shu was a midnight female anchor, so she slept in the day and work at the night.

"No. I could have relied on my appearance for a living, but I decided to use my talent. My fans won't care about my scar." Wen Shu touched the wound. Fortunately, there was no blood, but the faint pain was hard to ignore.

An Xia said 'hehe' twice, and someone outside the room called, "Hello, express delivery."

The supermarket was not far from where she lived, and the delivery speed was quite fast.

Wen Shu helped An Xia move a large pile of furniture back into the house. There was a cat rack in the living room and a cat litterbox was placed in the toilet. An Xia also bought a panda-shaped plate for the cat, with cat food in the middle and water in the panda ears.

"Little kitty, come and see if you like it."

The assembled cat nest was a large furry mouse that opened its mouth wide as a sign of welcome.

"Meow" With a low and hoarse voice, the Siamese cat drooped its eyelids and squinted at An Xia, as if saying, "Give you a look and feel for yourself."

"Hey, do you think this cat has turned into an Immortal?" This was the first time Wen Shu had seen a cat like this. It was also the first time she had been looked down upon by a cat.

The Siamese cat walked past her feet, as elegant as the daughter of a rich family. It went straight to the toilet, and after entering, its body was against the door.

"Ka!"

The door was closed.

An Xia and Wen Shu were speechless. They looked at each other as if they had seen a ghost.

"Didn't they say... animals are not allowed to become Immortal after the founding of the country?" Wen Shu smacked her dry mouth, feeling like she had been struck by a lightning. A cat actually knew to lock the door when using the toilet.

"Maybe its master has trained it well?" An Xia could only think that way, feeling it difficult to accept that it was an Immortal.

"Let's go take a look!"

Wen Shu felt a sudden impulse and An Xia followed closely behind. The two of them crept closer to the toilet as if they were thieves.
