In terms of the number and scale of the wave of monsters, the Underground Catacombs were definitely not as good as the White Bone Mountain Range, but the Underground Catacombs were of a higher level, and not only were the monsters inside of them of a higher grade and level, but there were quite a lot of BOSSes as well, so in terms of the total experience value, they weren't any worse than the Sea of Skulls in the White Bone Mountain Range.
