HELENA'S POV:

So now, this is finally done. I placed the wrapped gift on my side table and talked with dad in phone. I don't know why I felt his voice was low today. I tried to ask him about the reason but he didn't tell anything. He kept on insisting that he's okay. I couldn't keep patience so I called Mel to ask her if she knows anything. She picked the call after few rings.

"Hi Mel, I'm so sorry I'm disturbing you at this time but I wanted to ask you if you know about my dad? I mean, is my dad okay?"

"Yeah, I had seen him yesterday only and he was absolutely fine. Don't stress yourself darling he's absolutely fine." Her words assured me a bit. After some chit chats with her, I slept thinking about Zayden's reaction tomorrow.

I woke up early than usual and prepared some cookies for Zayden as he loved the cookies baked by me when he tasted it last time. Even Gina and Merry loved it. I packed the cookies and also put it on my bag along with the gift. As soon as I reached to my floor after traveling for half an hour on bus, I looked around to see if Zayden has come but he was not there.

So I walked towards my table and started doing my work. When it was lunch break, I walked out of the cabin hoping to meet Zayden and my wish came true. "Heli friend...." Zayden came running towards me with a bag in his hand and a beautiful smile on his face. I pulled him into hug and kissed on his both cheeks.

"Happy birthday my dear friend." I wished him and kissed on his forehead. "Thank you my Heli friend." He kissed on my cheeks just as I did and I couldn't help but laugh at his cuteness. "Heli friend, I have brought chocolates for you. Take this, all of them are for you." He forwarded the bag in his hands towards me.

"Oh no, I forgot to bring gifts for you. Wait, let me bring it for you okay?" I walked towards my cabin and brought the bag with me. I was walking towards Zayden when I saw Gina and Merry walking towards my cabin as well. "Hey Heli, you didn't come to have lunch with us so we came to see if you're busy." Gina said curiously looking at the bag in my hands.

"I'll be coming just after giving this to birthday boy." I told and started walking towards Zayden. "Heli, you still talk to him? His mom will find it out one day and she'll make it hard for you. Please stay away from him." Merry whispered in my ears. "Come on Merry it's his birthday today." I walked towards him and scooted down to his level.

"What is my gift friend?" He asked in excitement with glittery eyes. "Check it out yourself." I handed him bag and took out the jar of cookies first. "Wow! You made cookies for me?" He jumped in excitement and then he realized there's something else in the bag as well. He took out the box and started unpacking the gift.

"Wow! You brought mouth harmonium for me?" He asked moving his hand over it. "Yes, I know that my friend likes to play it." I said kissing his cheeks. I was admiring his cuteness when I heard a voice, "HOW DARE YOU?"

DIANA'S POV:

"Mom, you'll have to come tonight at our home and I don't want to hear any excuses." I was talking to mom while walking out of my cabin towards Liam's cabin so that I can wish my baby boy a very happy birthday peacefully. I couldn't even wish him properly today.

"Sure mom, I'll be waiting for you tonight. See you, bye." I cut the call and entered Liam's cabin to find him engulfed in his files. I thought of not disturbing him so I looked over each and every corner of his cabin but I couldn't find Zayden. My heart raced fast as horrible thoughts were roaming in my mind.

"Liam, where is Zayden?" I asked banging my hands on his table with my body trembling in fear. "Diana, relax. He must be playing around with his friends." I walked towards window and looked at the children park but he was not there. Without wasting any moment, I ran out of the floor and started looking for him. "Diana...Diana wait." I didn't pay attention to Liam's words and started searching for him.

My heart was rapidly beating with fear and anger. I was going through every floor when I heard Zayden's voice on twenty eighth floor. I walked as fast as I could to see that a woman was kissing his cheeks and Zayden was holding some cookies in his hands.

"How dare you?" I roared and started walking towards them. I pulled him back and looked at the woman. "How dare you get close to my son? Who allowed you to stay close to him?" I couldn't control my anger anymore.

"Mo..Mom...Please, she is my friend." Zayden was pulling my fingers and my heart ached to see my child begging for someone else. This is the first time he's asking something to me and that too for someone else. He's naive to understand this cruel world but I'll protect him.

"You were trying to harm my son? How dare you? I won't spare you. You.. you work as an intern?" I said looking at her badge. "I'll make sure that you... "I was about to speak further when Liam came running towards me.

"Diana...calm down." He pulled me towards him for a hug but I was in no mood. "Leave me Liam. I need to throw her out of the company. I need to make sure she doesn't get to live in this city. I will..."

"Diana enough." He held my shoulders and shouted making me shut. "Diana calm down. Zayden is fine. Everyone is looking at us. We should go from here. Let's go.. Let's go.." He held my hand in his hand and carried Zayden on his arms.

HELENA'S POV:

"I'm so sorry Miss that you had to experience all this. Please don't mind." Zayden's father said before walking away with his wife. Zayden was looking at me through his dad's shoulder and I smiled at him assuring him that everything's fine.

"Huh, now I'll be the legal advisor for sure." Alvira mocked and walked away. Everyone started walking away one by one. "We told you to stay away from him, didn't we?" said Gina coming towards me. "You were about to loose your job Heli. I don't understand what made her so angry? You weren't harming her son." said Merry equally angry.

"She's not angry. She's in pain." I looked at both of them and found questions in their eyes. "There's some kind of pain she's hiding behind her anger."
