HELENA'S POV:

My heart still races when I remember that day, Zayden's birthday. My heart still aches when I remember his sad face. That poor child had to face all this on his special day. And, he's still a child. His mind would be really disturbed to witness all these things at such a young age.

Later that night, Zayden had called me when he was alone. "Friend, you must be sad right? I am so sorry. Mom scolded you because of me. I am sorry friend." Listening to his voice, I guessed that he was crying.

"No problem my little friend. I am not sad at all. How can I be sad? It's my friend's birthday today and birthday boy should also be happy, isn't it?" I said trying to cheer him up.

"Are you not sad? My mom is not bad. Dad says she loves me a lot. But I don't know why does she not like when I make big friends." His words shows how confused he is but I'm sure there must be a reason behind her behaviour. "Yes my cute little friend, I'm happy instead. It's my friend's birthday today and I'm sure there must be a grand birthday party for you, right?" I said trying to change the topic.

"Yes, my friends are also coming up in the party. I wanted you to come in the party as well but dad said that mom..." His voice turned low again. "No problem birthday boy. Enjoy your birthday and have lots of fun with your friends. I want to hear out everything from you later okay?"

I convinced him to go and enjoy his fullest on his party that day and the next day, he was talking about what games he played, what song he sang, this and that.

And today, I'm going to Cullen's Villa which is the reason why I'm feeling nervous. The company this year made profit double than last year and the party is in Cullen's Villa. I'm going along with people from my department and even Merry and Gina are going with their departments.

I was wearing red jumpsuit with a little bling along with black heels. Merry gave me a pair of matching earrings and Gina did my make up though I insisted on going with my normal looks. My hair was tied on high ponytail and a little bracelet on my right hand and wrist watch on my left hand.

Merry was dressed in blue knee length dress and Gina was dressed in Gray off shoulder gown. We three waited on the parking lot until the buses arrived. We three drove away along with our respective departments.

The villa was looking so grand and beautiful from the gate already. The villa was beautifully decorated with lights and flowers and the yard in front of the villa where the party was being held. All our business partners and media were invited for the party. We three gathered together once we reached in the yard. Merry and Gina were busy on admiring the party where as my eyes were searching for him, Zayden.

After about ten minutes, host of the party started the party and that's when the organizers of the party, Mr. and Mrs. Cullen came into the yard along with Zayden. This cute little man was dressed in Gray suit looking extremely cute. He was looking at everyone curiously resting on his dad's arms and when his eyes met with mine, he gave a beautiful smile and waved his hand to me to which I replied with a wave. Mrs.Diana Cullen gave a speech and the party officially started. I was making sure that I stay away from Mrs.Cullen cause it is big day for her and seeing me might make her angry.

I was enjoying with Merry and Gina with a glass of wine when my phone rang. It was call from dad. I picked up the call and tried to talk to him but because of loud music, I was not able to hear anything. So I excused myself and walked towards other corner of the yard.

I was still not able to hear his voice clearly so I walked a little away towards the swimming pool. "Yes dad, I can hear you clearly now. What were you saying?" I started talking with dad again. "Actually baby girl, I...I wanted to tell you something. Yesterday..." He was sounding so nervous and that surprised me a lot. He never sounded so nervous before. "Dad, are you okay? What's the matter?" I was waiting for him to speak but then, "SPLASH!!!!"
