AIDEN'S POV:

Is this woman crazy? Of course she is, why am I even asking myself? Who behaves like this with the person who came all the way to return her bag? She's angry that she had to check on every single rooms and she still didn't find me but I found her on the very first attempt. Well I can understand her frustration but how am I responsible for that?

My luck was good that the very first door I knocked turned out to be her room or else even I would've to knock on every single door. My back is hurting right now cause I'm standing stiff as there's no space left for me even to move even a bit and I can feel her breath on my face.

She's standing in front of me with her hand on her waist and her dark black eyes looking at me as she finally finished her blabbering. I must say she's really beautiful. Dark black eyes and some strands of hairs falling on her face. Come back to senses Mr. Aiden Rudolf. I brushed all my thoughts and that's when I realized my back pain again. "But what's my fault in it?" I finally spoke up realizing that she isn't letting me go without getting her answer.

She looked around me and her eyes widened when she realized the minimal space between us. She jerked back and started looking at everywhere except me. Finally I let out my breath and stretch my body. I finally felt blood rushing through all my cells which I guess was stopped due to my body posture for few minutes.

"Ah, well I can understand you. I mean anybody would be frustrated in such condition. But now that you've finally got your bag, can I get mine?" I asked trying to reduce her embarrassment. She was continuously looking here and there without speaking anything so I thought of initiating the conversation.

"Urh yes. Here." She forwarded my bag towards me and I was relived to get my bag back. "Thank you so much." I thanked her after taking my bag. I turned around to walk away but then I thought of something. I turned around and opened the chain and started searching for it in every corner of the bag but I couldn't find it.

"Is there any problem?" She asked looking at me as I was busy on searching for the packet. "Actually I had something in my bag, I thought of sharing that with you but I'm not getting the packet right now." I said still engrossed in searching for the packet.

"Was that the packet of cookies and pies?"She asked while I was throwing almost everything out of my bag. "Ah yes, actually they were made by my aunty and she makes the best cookies and pies. I thought that you were so disturbed while searching for your bag so your mood would lighten up a bit if you taste some of them." I spoke while throwing out my t-shirt from the bag. I was about to throw another t-shirt when something triggered my mind.

"Wait, how do you know that the packet had cookies and pies?" I asked raising my brows. "Ah.. Actually... I was so hungry after checking on two whole floor and... I had.. seen that packet so I.. hehe... you know ..hehe.." She said while scratching her forehead.

"So you mean to say, that you ate them?" I asked hoping that she would say no cause I've been dreaming myself eating them with hot coffee on the balcony for more than fifteen times and on top of that, they're the cookies and pies made by aunty D'souza. They're the best and I can't let them go without tasting even a bit.

"Ah.. haha yeah.. Actually I was so hungry that I... ate them all." As she said that, my eyes widened. "How could you eat someone's food just like that? That too without my permission?" I walked in front of her and asked with my hands on my waist. "No listen, actually.." She was saying something while walking closer to me but I was in no mood.

I started walking towards her while speaking, "No you listen to me, do you even know how careful I was regarding your things? I thought I shouldn't misplace or even touch your things without your consent so I made sure that your things won't even get a single scratch but you, you just ate my cookies and pies? Just like that?" I was speaking while walking towards her and she was continuously taking her steps back.

"I.. I am sorry.. I was hungry.. I'll.. I'll get you some new cookies and pies." She said while looking into my eyes. I realized that she was standing stiff with her back touching the wall so I took two steps back. She left out a sigh and stood straight. "Is there a single piece of cookies or pie remaining, by any chance?" I asked hoping that she would say yes, at least a single piece.

"Ah.. haha.. n.n.no I'm sorry." She said trying to give a normal smile but my last string of hope was smashed into pieces. I sighed hopelessly and at the same time, my stomach growled loud enough to be heard by both of us. "See what you did, my stomach is heartbroken now, like me." I said glaring at her.

"A stomach? Heartbroken?" She asked making faces. "A thief doesn't own the right to make fun of someone's stomach's emotions." I said walking back towards my bag and collecting my things. "Thief? Excuse me. I was just a little hungry so I ate them. How can you call me a thief? Do I look like a thief to you?" She asked folding her hands on her chest.

"A little hungry? There were thirteen cookies and five pies inside the packet." I said and looked at her belly, not sure wether I should believe that this human can store so much of food in such small belly.

"Umm uhum.." She cleared her throat while hiding her belly with her hands as she noticed my gaze. I stood up after packing my bag and walked towards the door to walk out. "Thank you." She said just as I was about to turn the knob. I turned around to look at her and she said, "For bringing my bag back."

"Such an ungrateful thief, didn't even say thank you for such delicious cookies and pies." I said and left her room before she could defend herself and walked towards my room.
