AIDEN'S POV:

I'm laying on the bed right now and I'm staring at the photograph that was taken an hour ago. I've always been keeping a safe distance with everyone I've met till today and I've never approached any kind of conversation with anyone. I'm amazed with myself and at the actions I take when I'm around this lady. Well I'll always remember this little journey in my life.

She was eating adorably during the lunch, totally away from the chaos of world. Just herself and the food but once I teased her, she started eating carefully and I regretted doing so. Well I'm confused with myself, why do I enjoy teasing and irritating her so much? Well well whatever it is, I'm going to live the moment like I always do.

I stayed inside the room and did my official work through laptop all the day. I shall never stop working cause I'm kind of workaholic. There's nothing to do except for work. Well I'm pretty sure I'll be busy with my mom once I go back home and I know she won't let me work all the time. Well spending time with her and my family is my favourite thing to do as well.

I was so engrossed in doing my work that I didn't realize the time. It was eight already and I was feeling hungry. I walked out of my room and my eyes fell on the door of her room. Well it was locked so I guessed she might have gone already. As I walked towards the restaurant area, I saw her talking to an old couple while sitting with them. As I walked closer to them, I heard what exactly where they talking about.

"My wife is sad because we couldn't celebrate our special day with our children. It's our thirtieth wedding anniversary today and we were supposed to be celebrating this day with our family. But due to weather, we're stuck up here." Said the old man holding shoulders of his wife.

"It's such a special day for both of you, so why are you sad?" She said holding her hands. She couldn't see me as her back was facing me. "I had planned so much for today and my family would've been so happy if we'd be together." The old lady took a deep breath saying so.

"I can understand but you both are together and that's the most important thing for today. You should definitely celebrate your togetherness. Even I'll celebrate with you, maybe you'll feel a less lonely." She said and walked towards the stage. I was patiently waiting to see what she does. She took a mic and started speaking.

"Ladies and gentlemen, attention please." Every one looked towards her including the hotel staffs as well. "Today, we have a couple here and it's their thirtieth wedding anniversary today. Thirty years of togetherness, thirty years of bonding. They couldn't celebrate this day with their family but not celebrating such day isn't fair. So, let's celebrate their special day together." Everyone clapped and cheered for them.

She walked towards the piano and sat on the stool. She set the mic and closed her eyes and started playing her fingers around the keys. Wow, she's really good at playing piano. She then started singing along with the tune.

Oh wow, she's got beautiful voice. She was singing with her eyes closed and her fingers doing magic over the keys. I don't know why, but I started walking towards the stage. I sat on the stool next to her and was looking at her face. Her face holds a different shine. She was singing the song and I don't know what came in my mind that I started singing as well.

THAT YOU ARE THE REASON

As she heard my voice, she opened her eyes and looked at me. I could see she was astonished. I was astonished with my own behaviour to be honest. We sang the rest of the song together and when the song ended, everyone clapped for us. The manager of the hotel joined us on the stage and he announced that the hotel is providing a cake from their side for the couple and everyone cheered after his words.

We both came down from the stage and the couple asked us to join them for dinner. She insisted that they should celebrate their day alone but the couple clearly denied it. So we had dinner together with them. As we were having dinner, an announcement was made.

"Ladies and gentlemen, we're from the airlines. As per the weather department, tomorrow's weather will be clear which means we all will be travelling back to our destination. We're sorry for the inconvenience you all had to face. So, see you all tomorrow. Thank you." Everyone was happy to hear the news and that could be seen on the intensity of their claps and whistles.

I bid goodbye to the couple and so did she. The couple thanked us for making their day special and we walked away towards our respective rooms. While walking towards the room, she finally spoke. "You scared me to death. I was so scared to hear a sudden voice near me."

"And that's the reason why we have deal of only sixty percent now." I said giving a devilish smile. "You're impossible." She said shaking her head. "Say something new. Well goodnight miss thief." I said once we reached in front of our rooms. "Goodnight." She wished me and walked inside her room.

I laid on the bed and closed my eyes. This is the last night here. I'll be in my home tomorrow. This crazy little journey will surely come to an end tomorrow.
