HELENA'S POV:

I ran all the way back to home cause I was really far away from home and I wanted to see my dad as soon as possible. It was still raining heavily and darkness had engulfed everything around me. I ran towards the door but it was still locked which made me freak out. Where can dad go, why isn't he home yet? I should... I should call him yeah. I took out my phone to find out that it was not working as it was drained in rain.

"Oh shit, what will I do now? Where will I go now. But I can't stay here like this. I need to do something. I.. I'll go and check into orphanage first. I just pray he's fine. God please keep him safe, I won't be able to live if I'll loose him." I ran out towards the gate to run towards orphanage but as soon as I reached at the gate, a car came towards me and it's headlight made it hard for me to open my eyes.

Who might have come in the car, that too at this time? I was patiently waiting for the person to come out and I hadn't expected to see the person who came out of the car at this time. It was Mr.Jack who came out of the car. I guess he didn't notice me and he walked towards the other side and opened the door for someone. And it was my dad who came out from the other side!

He has become so thin, he seems so weak and old. I can't believe that my dad was in this condition when I was away from him. He wasn't even able to stand properly, it was Mr. Jack who supported him. I was so busy with myself and my career and here my dad was... he was going through so much.

"Dad.." I called him out as he still hadn't noticed me and as soon as he heard my voice, he looked around everywhere for me and finally his eyes laid on me and he smiled! That million dollar smile, which is enough to shoo all my stress away. But he's got wrinkles now, and he got dark circles, I'm feeling really helpless to see him in this condition.

"My baby.." He started running towards me though his body seemed so weak. I couldn't wait to hug him, to feel warmth in his arms. I ran towards him and got myself in his arms which made me feel that I'm back to home. I was craving for this warmth and I wanted to get every single bit of it. I hugged him tight and cried my heart out. I had decided that I'll be strong, I'll not cry in front of him but I couldn't. I just couldn't.

"Hey hey baby girl, why are you crying? Aren't you happy to get back to your dad? And when did you come? Why are you wet? You know that you're sensitive to cold, don't you?" He said caressing my hair.

"Dad sob sob... You didn't take care of yourself... sob sob.. All This time when I asked you about your health, you always assured me that you're okay.. sob sob.. But look at you, you've become so weak, so pale." I was still hugging him tightly when Mr.Jack spoke up.

"You're absolutely right Helena. Now that you're back, I'm finally assured about his health. You know what? He asked me to promise him that I won't tell you but now I can't hide it anymore. He got..."

"Mr. Jack, she's just come home." Mr. Jack wanted to tell me something but dad interrupted him in between. "Dad, why did you stop him? Sir, what had happened to my dad?" I was getting really nervous, what had happened to him?

"I'll tell you later on Heli baby but right now, I want to spend sometime with you. Please, I'll tell you later on." I don't know why but I felt if he's hiding something from me, as if he's trying to keep me away from something. I wanted to ask him, get my answers but the way he was speaking melted my heart. And even I wanted to spend sometime with him so I agreed to him.

Mr.Jack bid goodbye though I insisted him to stay for sometime. When dad opened the door and I stepped inside, all the memories that I had in this home flashed in front of my eyes making my heart warm. Everything is still same, just the way I left two years ago.

"Everything's same baby girl, just the way you left." As dad said pressing my shoulder, he brought me out of my thoughts. "Yeah, everything's same in the house but you've changed a lot dad. Why didn't you take care of yourself? You had promised that you'll take care of yourself, didn't you? And I had asked Mel to take..." I didn't realize what I was speaking until I got that name on my lips.

"Are you okay?" Dad's voice brought me out from the thought and I realized I was about to break down again. "Ah huh.. Ah yes dad, I'm fine." I can't loose my control, I can't get weak in front of him. I need to be strong for him. "Dad, what was Mr. Jack saying?" His face turned pale as I mentioned the topic making my heart skip a beat. "Dad, tell me... tell me please."

"Ah, nothing Heli..."

"Dad, where's your medical report?" I just wanted to get it clear.

"Heli.."

"Dad, I want your medical report."

"In my cupboard." He said hanging his head low. I rushed towards the cupboard and searched for his report and I finally got a red file. I opened the fire hurriedly and what I saw made my heart shiver. He had... he had got another heart attack six months ago.
