AIDEN'S POV:

While I was busy on my call, I saw Ms. thief was playing with Zayden! The first thing that amazed me was to see Zayden here cause mom had told me that he was out of station with cocky and Liam. Secondly, how come Ms. thief here? Thirdly and most importantly, how did Diana even let Zayden around others freely? These questions were too much to just ignore so I walked down towards them in spite of still being on call.

I ended the call and started walking towards them and I was surprised to see how close Zayden was with her. He doesn't open up easily with everyone. He came running to me once he saw me, I missed my champ a lot. He's my precious, the one who I love the most. I could see how she as looking at me, as if she's seen a ghost in front of her. How badly I wanted to laugh at her expression but I had to maintain my calm as I was in the office.

Later cocky came running to me and here she started chattering non stop that she didn't even realize Ms. thief being around us. I was enjoying every bit of her expression, especially when she got to know that I'm the CEO of the company. Well I hadn't expected to see her as the legal advisor of my company as well but somewhere I wanted to see what she can do, what her capability is.

And she proved that she indeed deserves the post when she presented in front of everyone. She was confident, professional and to the point. This was one of those rare meetings where I didn't have to say much and I was convinced. Though she tried to act normal all the time during the meeting, I didn't fail to notice the astonished looks on her face to see me being straightforward and professional.

She must not have expected me to be this way as I've always been carefree around her ever since I've met her. She must be confused about me but to be honest, I'm more confused about myself. I've always been straightforward and minding own business kind of person with everyone except for my family, only my family knows all my sides. But when I met her for the first time, I don't know what made me behave so freely with her?

The way she kept on pushing me till my back touched the wall is usually what I do with my enemies. The way she reacted when I caught her eating my cookies, as if it's nothing is what I do with my mom. Maybe, this is the first time I saw anyone who resembles me in a way or the other which made me curious about her? Maybe I want to see what more she's like, I want to see every shades of her?

But deep down I know I'm doing wrong. I should stay away from her, just the way I stay away from every other woman. It's not good for her and even for myself but I don't know what happens to me when I see her. I can't deny the fact that I feel a different happiness when her face turns red when I tease her. But yeah, I should try to stay away from her. It will be good for her as well as myself. Yeah Aiden Rudolf, keep these things in your mind.

Reminding my mind again, I started concentrating upon my work. It's been such a long time since I last worked in the head company. I had to go to the Texas branch myself as it was not doing so good there and it took me whole three years to sort out everything there. And now I'm finally back with my full working spirit. It was six in the evening when I was finally done with the work for today after a hectic day. I didn't even get time to have lunch today as I was engrossed with my work and that's the reason my stomach was growling.

I went to check upon cocky but her cabin was empty. Strange, she never goes away without informing me. Oh, she's left message for me and I even got missed calls from her. I didn't even realize that my phone was on silence. My stomach growled once again and now my hunger was getting out of control. I just wanted to have anything as soon as possible. So I started driving as soon as I reached the parking lot.

I was looking around while driving, I was trying to find some place where I could peacefully have a bit of something before reaching home for dinner. I had to stop when the signal turned red and I was getting bored cause it was taking more time than usual. I thought of calling mom to tell her that I'll be home within few minutes so that she won't be worried.

I took out the phone and dialled the phone to her, waiting for her to pick up the call. That's when my eyes fell upon something.
