AIDEN'S POV:

"Mom happy birthday." I hugged her tightly on my arms. I am damn sure I am the first one to wish her on her birthday. "Thank you my dear son." She pulled my cheeks and kissed on my forehead. "So, what is the special dish I'm getting to eat today for being your first wisher this year?" I said folding my hands on my chest. "Uh huh, I'm making choco lava cake for my first wisher which is... not you." She said giving a smirk making me surprised as hell. "What do you mean? Who wished you before me huh?" I said following her to kitchen.

"My dear... Nah, your dear Helena." She said stressing on the word "your" which made my heart skip a beat. "Mom... she's just..." Before I could complete my sentence, mom showed her palm towards me indicating me to stop. "She is not just your friend Aiden. Everyone can see that around you but you keep on denying it. I know the reason my child. But you need to accept it, you are in love." Okay, now this is getting serious. Mom is extremely serious and her words are making me nervous.

"Mom..."

"Aiden, answer to my questions." She stopped preparing batter for the cake and looked straight into my eyes and I nodded at her. "Who is the first lady to make you smile except for the ladies in our family?" As soon as she asked the question, the first name that came in my mind was Ms. thief, her image flashed in front of my eyes. I looked towards mom to find her waiting for my answer. "Helena" I realized that I took her name subconsciously when I saw mom smiling at me which made me feel awkward.

"I loved that you spoke honestly without hiding anything Aiden. Now answer to rest of my questions honestly as well. You care for her, don't you?" Why is all her questions to the point? The moment I made her sleep on my shoulder flashed in front of my eyes. "Yes, I... do." I said looking away. "You enjoy being around her and spending time with her, don't you?"

"I.. I do." The time when we both were paragliding together and the way she helped me when my leg was swelling flashed in front of my eyes. "Have you been this close to any other woman?" And the answer is obviously no. I nodded my head as a no to her. I've always maintained safe distance from woman and never let anyone enter into my comfort zone. But she's the first woman that I don't think twice before interacting with or even spending time with.

"Then what else do you need to realize your own feelings Aiden? She's breaking all the walls you created around your heart and you have fallen for her." Mom's words were creating a mess in my mind and my heart was racing like nothing. "But mom..." I was in web of confusion and I couldn't think of anything clearly. All the answers I gave to mom were true but am I.... in Love?

"Aiden, I'm not forcing you to get into any conclusions. I'm just helping you out to realize your own feelings. Don't stress yourself but do try to understand yourself and listen to your heart." I just nodded at her words and walked out of the kitchen to my room to get ready. All the time in shower and while getting ready, mom's words were flashing on my mind. All the time I was with Ms. thief were roaming on my mind.

"Mom, I'm going to office and happy birthday once again." I said kissing on her forehead after having breakfast. "Bye and don't forget that we're having a small family dinner tonight in our villa."

"I know mom but you're the birthday girl so don't overstress yourself okay." I walked out of the villa and drove myself to office. All the day I was trying to focus upon my work but I couldn't. And on top of that, I didn't even see her for once and later I got to know that she's out with Diana for preparing gifts for mom's birthday party. Gosh, why is her absence making difference to me?

After all day of confusion, I finally drove myself back to home after buying a beautiful gift for my mom. I just hope she likes the gift. I greeted mom and G and then walked to my room to change. Later, I joined everyone on the hall. After about an hour, I heard a voice from the door and I know who it is... Of course Ms. thief.

HELENA'S POV:

"Happy birthday aunty." I hugged her as soon as I entered the hall along with my dad. "Thank you so much Heli." She kissed on my forehead and then I greeted everyone. Dad was holding the gift that I bought for aunty and I thought of giving it to her with everyone after cutting the cake.

"Come on children, now let's cut the cake." G came along with a trolley with a beautiful cake which was especially baked by G for her. Everyone wished her and she fed the cake one by one to everyone and everyone started giving gifts to her so even I gave the gift I had brought for her.

"Granny, let's see what you got in all the gifts." Zayden sat on aunty's lap clapping hands on excitement. "Okay, let's do it. So, whose gift do you want to see first baby?" Aunty asked caressing his cheeks. Zayden kept his index finger on his cheek as if he's thinking something and then turned around towards aunty in excitement. "Granny, I want to see hero's and heroine's gifts together. So you open hero's gift and I'll open heroine's." Aunty agreed to him and then started unwrapping the gifts. I just hope aunty likes the gift I brought for her.
