HELENA'S POV:

It's been a month since aunty's birthday and he has been acting a bit strange these days. I mean he has lessen irritating me and is always busy on work and stays out of office for deals and meetings most of the time. We went just once for coffee this month and didn't even talk for... once on phone during this month. I've seen him just for four times and that too to discuss business with Diana. It's all his fault, he has been irritating me all these time so that is why now I feel a different kind of irritation in this peace. God, people will surely call me mad if I tell them that it's irritating me to be in peace.

Anyways, I have nothing to do with it. It's better if he stays away from me or else my eardrum will develop a habit of listening to irrational stuffs. I was concentrating upon my work when I heard a knock on my door. "Yes come in" As I permitted, my assistant came inside. "Ma'am, you have to attend a meeting with Mr. Aiden with the owner of Carlson company in the evening on Dj night club. "Uh okay." I replied subconsciously and then she walked out of my cabin.

This is not the first time I'm going with him outside for any deals or meetings but after a long time, I'm finally going out with him, with my dear friend. Gosh, why am I even thinking about it? I should focus upon my work instead. I started revising all the papers for locking the deal with Carlson company and when it was done, I sent it to him with my assistant for final confirmation. I could've gone myself but then I got call from dad. I had to ask him about his food and exercise. So I sent my assistant with the file and asked her to come back to me with the file once done.

AIDEN'S POV:

"Come in." It was Ms. thief's assistant who came inside with the file but I was expecting her to come. It's been so long since I've seen her properly and I miss her around me. All this month, I was away most of the time because of business or should I say, I was trying my best to stay away from her. But every time I did, I missed her even more. I missed teasing her, I missed going out on coffee with her and irritating her.

"Everything's okay, you can take this file back." I sent her assistant back with the file once I was done with checking it. I really want to see her and check out if she's okay or not and even go out with her but to be very honest, I do not want to take her out today for the meeting.

Today's meeting is with Dylan Carlson, the sole owner of Carlson company and number one womanizer. He keeps on changing women as tissues and the worst part is, he keeps eyes especially on those women who deny to be with him or who do not show any interest on him or such kind of things. And I'm worried about Ms. thief, I'll have to make sure Dylan stays away from her as much as possible. I can't let him keep bad eyes on her, her security is my responsibility.

It was evening and was time to go for meeting so I hurriedly moved to the parking waiting for her and after about ten minutes, I saw her coming towards me. I can't describe how happy I was to see her. I couldn't hide my smile after seeing her. "Hello Ms. thief, nice seeing you after so long." I said as I started driving towards the club. "Nice seeing you too Mr. Irritation." She replied smiling which made me happy that she didn't say anything rudely and instead smiled at me but all the way to club was silent after that.

Once we reached the club, we both entered to the VIP room on the top floor to find Dylan sitting on the chair with a glass of whiskey. "Good evening Mr. Aiden Rudolf, nice seeing you after so long." He came towards me to for a handshake and the next moment, his eyes fell upon Ms. thief. The way he was looking at her was making my blood boil. I could clearly see his intentions on his eyes and I wasn't liking it. "Who's this beautiful lady?" He asked giving a flirty smile and she introduced herself as the legal advisor of the company like she always does to everyone.

"We'll have great time together then, let's have seat." He said indicating us to seat and before she could sit next to him, I sat down on that seat and as there was no other option, she sat next to me. "So Ms. Helena, what would you like to have?" Here he starts again and I need to stop him as soon as possible.

"Mr. Dylan, we should discuss business, we're getting pretty late actually." I said forwarding the file before any one of them could react anything and with no choice left with him, he agreed on that. But all the time we were dealing about business, he was gawking at her as if he'll eat her down right now especially when she was explaining the legal terms. After an hour when we were finally done, I was all set to walk out of club cause his behaviour was pissing me off. I didn't know how long would I able to act calm.

But then, "Mr. Rudolf, let's have some drinks please. Here, cheers to our new deal." He handed me a glass of whiskey before I could say anything. "Ms. Helena, here. Let's celebrate new deal." He handed a glass of whiskey to her as well. I saw the way he gave her the glass, his hand was trying to touch her and that made me grit my teeth on anger.

She took the glass hesitantly but I can't let her drink it. I need to get her out of all this mess as soon as possible and I'm going to do it at any cost.
