HELENA'S POV:

Ever since we've entered this VIP room, I'm not liking it at all. This man with whom we're supposed to deal was gawking at me and his gaze was making me feel uncomfortable. Finally when the deal was done, I was a bit relieved that we'll be heading out but he stopped us for drink. I totally had no mood of drinking and from the way he was trying to avoid him, I felt like even Mr. Irritation was trying to get off from here but nothing was helping us as we couldn't offend our business partner. He sat with a glass of whiskey and so did I but I wasn't drinking it at all, as that man's gaze was making me uncomfortable.

"Okay, We shall be moving now." I felt so relaxed when he stood up after emptying the glass and I was all set to run away but then... "Why in so much hurry Mr. Aiden? I still wanted to talk to this beauty." I felt so disgusted when that man said these words. I was feeling like killing him right away but I couldn't do that. "Mr. Dylan, we've got much of work so excuse us." I looked towards him to see him burning in rage, this is the first time that I'm seeing him in this condition and honestly, I am scared of his appearance right now.

His face is as red as lava and veins popping out on his temples are making it more scary, his fingers were balled into fist. "Ah, I can understand you're a busy person after all you're the CEO of one of the top brand groups of companies in the country. But I believe this pretty lady can stay behind for sometimes right? I'll just get along with her and...." Dylan was continuously speaking nonsense but when he was about to complete the last sentence which I believe would be even worse and harassing than earlier, "BOOM!" a big fat punch landed on the right corner of his face.

I was still trying to process what happened right now but before I could get a clear vision of anything, I saw two men fighting with each other, who were all set to kill each other. It was him, Mr. Irritation who punched him first but then even Dylan started defending himself. He was continuously beating him, throwing him from one corner to the other like he's not even human sending chills down my spine. Dylan was trying to defend himself but nothing was helping him but then he managed to grab a vase from the table next to him and then "THUD!"

"Sir!" I couldn't help but scream in fear looking at the intensity of force with which Dylan hit the vase on his head. Losing his balance, he was stumbling back when I ran towards him. An unknown fear was making my heart thump, the fear that I never knew I could have. Strange but, I was scared of seeing him getting injured. "Sir.." I held him by his shoulder to see his head having a wound on the corner and his eyes were burning in rage. But the moment he looked in my eyes, his eyes turned soft.

AIDEN'S POV:

"Don't worry Ms. thief, I'm fine." I smiled at her, I don't know if I was right or not but I felt as if I saw a bit of care for me in her eyes and even if I'm wrong, I'll live in this dream forever. "I'll kill you today Aiden!" I came back to senses when I saw him coming towards me with a beer bottle on his hand which he basically brought to hit on my head but before he could do that, I moved ahead and snatched the bottle from his hand and banged it on his head. His filthy words were still roaming on my mind, how dare he talk shit about her? I was beating him with all the energy I had. I just wanted to finish him at any cost.

"Stop!" I heard a voice and I know who it is but I was in no mood to stop. "Please stop he'll die." I ignored her voice again and kept on beating his shit out but the next moment, someone held my hand. I turned around to push that person but I froze at the moment to see her, with her eyes filled with tears. "Please... Stop" It was more like whisper that came out from her mouth. I would've never stopped beating him, even if she'd insist me to only if I wouldn't have seen her tears. Why was she crying? Was she crying because she was scared of me? Does she think I'm a devil?

"Please... let's go." Her words were like magic to me, which made me follow her without speaking any word. I was just staring at her hand that was holding my hand and smiling like a fool. As soon as we both sat on the car, she started searching for something and I got to know she was searching for first aid box when she took it out from backseat. "It may burn a little." She said before applying antiseptic on my wound on forehead and it was burning a lot. But her teardrops were falling every time I would shiver in pain.

I don't know if I'm over thinking or hallucinating, but for the first time I saw her worried for me which made my heart happy. "I am sorry. It's all because of me." She said hanging her head low once she was done with applying medicine which pinched my heart. "No, it's me who should be sorry. You had to listen to his carp and tolerate his gazes and I'm sorry for that." I didn't look at her once after saying that cause I was feeling really guilty. I didn't have that guts to face her and started driving.

"Thank you." She said before climbing down from the car once we reached in front of her apartment and I just nodded at her. I was all set to drive to my home but a knock on the window dragged my attention. It was her again and she was waiting to say something. Worried that something might have happened to her, I slid down the window hurriedly. "Ahh, take care." She smiled at me and then walked towards her apartment. I saw her back moving away from me with smile never leaving my face, her words which still ringing on my ears.

"Fidel, I don't want to see Daniel Carlson on this Earth anymore." I ordered him as soon as she left and drove myself to home. "Aiden oh my god, you're injured so badly." Mom came running to me and I was surprised to see all of my family member standing on the hall with worried face. "Mom, I'm okay. But why is everyone here at this time?" As much as I know, Diana and Liam would be having fun time with Zayden on their own villa and G would be in her room listening to vintage songs while mom would be dealing with business regarding her organization.

"Aiden, you almost killed Daniel, isn't it?" Oh, so Diana got to know about it already. "Yeah and he'll be dead till morning." I walked towards dinner table and took a glass of water for myself. "Aiden!" I know mom must be surprised to see me reacting this way but that's true, I ain't letting that bastard go. "What exactly happened Aiden?" G was asking looking at me but I didn't know what to say. What do I say? Why did I beat him? Why did my anger boiled when that bastard spoke rubbish about her?

"He spoke something against Helena and he couldn't tolerate it G." God, Diana even got to know about this. "Is it true Aiden?" asked G and I couldn't deny it. I'll have to explain the reason so I just nodded at her. "Why?" Here starts the bomb of questions. "Because... because she is our staff and it's my responsibility to protect her." I was just not saying it to them, I was trying to console myself as well. "Really, but this is not the first time you protected any woman or our staff but this is definitely the first time you've raised hand upon business partner. This is the first time the devil inside you woke up after Zayden's kidnapping. Why Aiden?" God, I'm getting irritated with Diana's question and it's better if I stay quite right now cause I don't know the reason myself.

"Why are you quiet Aiden? Why does it matter when someone talks bad about her?" Liam too started interrogating me while stepping towards me. "Why did you beat our business partner for her sake? Why does she matter to you? What would he do? Just say something bad to her right? So what?"

"Enough Liam!" How could he say that? What does he mean? He would speak anything rubbish about her and I would just act like nothing happened?

"How can you say that? I would react like nothing had happened and let that bastard misbehave with her?" I threw the glass from my hand on the floor.

"But you didn't need to over react Aiden. You should've just let it go." That was it. It was enough.

"Liam!" I held his collar and roared, "Don't you dare to talk anything about her. I swear I won't leave you."

"Why? Who's she? just an employee."

"Liam! She's not just an employee and don't you dare to talk against her. I won't tolerate anything against her. I'll kill you if you speak a word against my woman now!" I threw him on the floor out of anger but he wasn't letting it go. "Come on Aiden. She's no one to fight for." He came striding towards me and I punched on his face without thinking anything. "I said don't talk anything about her. Didn't you get that? Don't you dare to speak against her. She's not just any one, she's special. I love her God dammit!"
