HELENA'S POV:

It's been a week since that day on club and I still can't forget the way he fought with Daniel and on top of that, he's nowhere to be found. That day, I felt warm in my heart to see someone fighting for me, someone standing for me. The next day to that day, everything went back to normal as if nothing had ever happened. But two things have changed for sure; the first thing, I've started respecting him more than I used to do and the next thing is his behaviour. I don't know if that's only my imagination or it's right, I feel he has turned softer towards me.

Well whatever it is, I'm happy that everything is settled now and today we've to go to a pub for meeting with client again. Well I just hope the next client wouldn't turn out a pervert like Daniel and everything would go peacefully. "Ma'am it's time for you to leave with sir for the meeting." It was my assistant who came to remind me about the meeting though I didn't need it. "Okay, you may leave now." I started packing my bag and took the important fine with me after sending her back and as expected, he was already waiting for me in the parking, his back resting on his car. But wait, what's with that smile on his face? Weirdo indeed!

AIDEN'S POV:

It had been ten minutes since I was waiting for her and I was getting impatient. Well that's not not her fault, she was actually on her time. It was me who came earlier than time. Since that day I'm trying my best to spend time with her, I'm trying to know her better and I succeeded into some extent as well. I got to know that her favourite ice cream flavour is chocolate, her favourite cake is truffle cake and her favourite colour is black and blue. She hates eating pumpkin and can go crazy for pizza and chocolates. Well my little champ helped me a lot into knowing these things about her. The other things that I got to know from my observation is that she loves food more than anything and goes crazy when she's hungry and to be honest, I just love to see the way she eats. She looks so cute while eating as she forgets everything while eating.

"So which pub is it?" I came out of my thoughts when she snapped her fingers in front of my eyes. "Oh, it's bubbles pub. Let's get going." I opened the door for her like a gentleman and she looked at me astonished before entering into car. The whole way to pub was silent with her looking out of window and me peeking at her time and again. How I wish she could see love for her in my eyes. How I wish she could see what she matters to me but no worries, I believe one day or the other, she'll see through my eyes.

"We're here madam." I said patting on her shoulder as she was still busy on looking outside. "Ah yeah, let's go." She walked out of the car and I followed her inside the VIP room. We were here to deal with a modelling company for showcasing our latest collection of jewellery which is to be launched after two weeks. But even after waiting for half an hour, there was no sign of the other party. As we both were busy on finalizing everything for the last time, we didn't notice the time. In order to know about the other party's delay, I dialled phone to the party who was supposed to come for the meeting and got to know that he has met with an accident. Well I couldn't even shout at him as the situation was at fault.

"God, so it's all wasted. Let's go now." Her mood was off and mine too. She was all set to walk out but then I got an idea. "Ms. thief, let's have some drink together. We're here at the pub already and we aren't doing anything as well and both of our mood is ruined. So what say?" I asked hoping she'd say yes. I'll get to spend some more time with her because of this. She looked around and then finally agreed, "Okay, just some drinks and we'll go back."

As she agreed, we both moved towards the bar area and ordered drinks for us. She was sipping drink while looking around and I was sipping my drink with my eyes glued on her. She was enjoying looking around and I was happy to see her happy. I was smiling looking at her but then she drank whole glass in a go suddenly making me shocked. "One more drink" She drank the other glass in a go as well after getting the drink. "Next" And that too went in a go. "Ms.thief, are you okay? Why are you drinking like this?" I tried to make her calm but she wasn't stopping at all and in fact, she was making me worried now.

"Ms. thief" I snatched the eighth glass she was going to gulp and she looked at me angrily making me scared. God, she looks so angry. "Ms. thief, what happened?" I tried to calm her down rubbing her shoulder. She stared at me for a while and then snatched the glass from my hand and gulped it down before I could stop her.

"Hiccup!" There she got hiccup after eight back to back drinks. She indicated me to come closer to her and I followed her lead and moved closer to her. "You see... hiccup... that couple?" I looked at the direction she was pointing and I nodded as a yes to her. "That girl will... hiccup... cry one day, you know why?" As I didn't know the answer, I nodded into a no. "Cause I had seen that man... hiccup.. kissing other woman just yesterday on the cafe.. hiccup... which means, that man is... hiccup... cheating on her. Hahahahahahahaha.... hahahahaha..." She started laughing throwing her head behind and I was surprised. That made her drink like crazy?

I was still trying to understand everything when I heard some sobs. I turned around everywhere to see who was that person and to my surprise, it was her! What happened to her? Wasn't she laughing few minutes ago? "Ms. thief, are you okay?" I hurriedly walked to her and held her by shoulder and the next second, she hugged me tightly and cried bitterly which broke my heart. She wasn't getting silent so I carried her out of the pub and sat along with her in my lap inside my car.

"Ms. thief, are you okay?" I asked rubbing her head when her sobs went silent after sometime but she didn't answer anything. And when I looked at her, I found her sleeping like a baby. This crazy woman is now sleeping after making me worried about herself. I couldn't drop her to her home in this condition so I thought of bringing her to my home. After calling uncle Parker and informing him, I made her sit properly on the passenger seat besides me and locked the seat belt properly. As I was about to start the car, I heard some voice. When I turned around her, she was blabbering something I'm sleep.

"That...That man will cheat.. cheat on her like.. Andrew.. Andrew cheated on me." I heard these words when I moved closer to her which made my heart uneasy. I started driving and I was in mess all the way. How could someone hurt her? She's too good to be cheated. Such a scum must that bastard must be to cheat on her.

I made her lay on mom's bed once we reached home as mom was busy on study room. "Don't worry Ms.thief, you are the reason why I have started healing and I promise I'll help you in every way to heal. We'll heal together." I kissed on her forehead after speaking my heart out and informed mom about her. "You deserve all the happiness Ms. thief and I'll make sure you get all of them." I promise myself before drifting to sleep.
