HELENA'S POV:

I don't know how will I react and face everyone now. I don't know what must they be thinking about me, I don't want them to worry about me especially my dad. I couldn't even talk to him yesterday as everyone walked to their rooms after dinner and I don't think anyone knows about the proposal. And I wish he keeps it a secret. Things have already become complicated and I don't want it to turn more awkward.

I don't know how am I going to face him today, I am not angry on him. In fact I feel bad for him, he says he loves me but I know it's not true. It's good for him that I don't get into his life or else he might regret it later and most importantly, I'm not ready for it. I don't have that strength anymore to get into any kind of relationships. I am fine being alone, I am fine without anyone. I just want him to find someone who will be able to love him whole heartedly and someone who deserves him. I don't now how am I going to face him.

"Good morning Ms. thief." A voice brought me out of my thoughts and it was him, with a mug of coffee in his hand. "Good.. Good morning." Unprepared for such a greeting, I stammered standing up from the dressing table where I was making my hair lost in my thoughts. "Here your morning coffee." He was still smiling like he used to do before, as if nothing had ever happened. "Thank you." I returned back a smile, though it was really hard to act as nothing had happened and smile but I had to. "You're most welcome Ms. thief, now have it and get ready. We'll leave for office after half an hour. I'll be waiting for you downstairs okay." He walked out of my room and smiled at me before closing the door.

Gosh, I'm relieved that he initiated conversation with me and didn't let it turn out awkward. Or else I don't know how would've I talked with him. I had the coffee and that was really good, did he make it? Nah, it must be aunty's magic. After about twenty minutes, I walked downstairs and found everyone sitting on the hall. "Good morning every one." I greeted them and walked towards dad and hugged him tight. "Did you have good sleep dad?" I asked in a low voice so that no one would hear me except him to which he replied back, "Yes i did. Don't worry about me. You tell me, are you okay?"

Am I okay? Of course I am, I have to be right? How will I handle dad if I breakdown in front of him. "Yes dad, Don't worry." I said breaking the hug. "So, let's go to office." He came with keys and I nodded at him. "Will you please drop me to home?" Dad asked to him but he insisted him to stay at the villa. Even G, aunty and Diana were insisting him to stay and to be honest, even I wanted him to stay here until I come back from office so that I can take him home with me. I don't want him to stay alone especially after whatever happened yesterday. But in spite of everyone's insistence, dad didn't agree so he sat on the car with us.

"Dad, take care and don't stress yourself. I'll come back soon, bye dad." He nodded at me and walked inside the apartment and as he was gone, he started driving towards office. We were about half a way to office and there was nothing except silence in between us and I had something to say to him. "Ah, Mr.Aiden..." I turned towards him to speak but he glared at me making me scared as well as confused at the same time. "Why are you being so formal with me when we aren't even in office right now Ms. thief. As much as I know, you call me Mr. Irritation or even Mr....."

"Ahh, Yes Mr. Irritation.." I interfered between he could speak anything further cause I knew he was going to tell the other nickname I had given to him. "Thank you so much for not letting dad stay alone yesterday. I don't know how would I've handled him alone." I said sincerely, cause I was really thankful for what he did to my dad. "Come on Ms.thief, no formality and I did it all for my uncle so relax." He smiled at me and started driving again. We parted our ways once we reached to the office after wishing goodbye to each other. God, please don't make my life more difficult now.

AIDEN'S POV:

As soon as I reached to my cabin, I dialled uncle Parker's number and clearly instructed him to take care of himself and not to take any kind of stress cause I know he was sad after discussing things with me early in the morning.

FLASHBACK:

"Good morning uncle, here's your juice." I went to see him early in the morning before going to Ms. thief and I felt he was stressed with the creases on his face. "Good morning Aiden. Did you propose her yesterday as you said to me? What did she say?" He bombarded all the questions at once as soon as he saw me. "Relax uncle, here have this juice first." I made him seat and handed him the glass. "Please tell me, I can't wait any more." I held his hands and tried to speak as calmly as I could.

"Uncle, she needs time and even you know that. I am not forcing her and I respect her decision. Don't stress yourself, I trust on my love." His face turned pale as I said that and I had to calm him down, I did my best. But I know he's still worried for her. I promise I'll try my best to get him out of this stress.
