HELENA'S POV:

"Thank you so much." I smiled at the attendant and collected the bag that had tie packed in it before walking towards the elevator. It took quite a time to find a matching tie but finally I got one. With a "Ding" the elevator opened and I walked in to find an old lady in her sixties standing at a corner who gave a warm smile to me for which I returned a smile as well. After pressing the button, I moved a little back and started waiting but just as the door closed, something happened!

The lights went off inside elevator and everything went dark and it even stopped moving! The sudden movement shook my heart and the lady besides me started panicking. "Ma, don't worry, we'll be okay. Please don't panic, someone will come to help us. I'll call someone." There was such a darkness that I couldn't even see where she was. I was worried about her more than myself. I managed to take my phone out but I couldn't get network to make a call.

"Child! I... I'm scared." The lady's voice made me realize her presence so I hurriedly turned the torch on and walked towards her. "Don't worry, You're not alone. We'll get out of here." I was trying to calm her down but I had fear creeping in my heart itself. Walking out on every corner, I tried to look out for network but I couldn't find any. I couldn't even show that I was worried, I was just hoping that someone would come to us and take us our from here but then I thought of leaving a message to him.

"I'm stuck in the elevator with an old lady. Please come for help." Just as I sent the message, the lady started sobbing and my mind was diverted towards her. As nothing worked, I hugged her hoping she'll feel comfortable. I was a bit relieved when she stopped crying. Now I just hope he would get my message and come to us soon.

AIDEN'S POV:

"Sir, I had clearly seen her going through the elevator and our men are looking for her on the next floors. She isn't out of the mall for sure, we've already checked out the cctv footage at the entrance."

"I told you to keep a close eye around her, now if I find her hurt anywhere, I'll make sure you'll not be found tomorrow." With my rise in pitch of voice, Zayden who was seeping on my arms woke up shivering. "Zayden, stay with uncle until I come back okay?" He nodded innocently without knowing anything before I handed him to my man. I couldn't stay idle, I need to find her as soon as possible. Just as I was about to walk out, my phone beeped and... it was her message.

"I'm stuck in the elevator with an old lady. Please come for help." Without wasting a single more second, I ran towards elevator and tried to use it but it wasn't working. "Guards!" The guards came running on my roar huffing and sweating but I had no time to care about it. They started working on it as soon as they got to know about people being stuck inside and on the other side, I was continuously trying on her phone.

After ten minutes of workers working upon it, the elevator finally started working and I was anxiously waiting to see her. And what I saw when the elevator opened, caused my heart to ache. She was sitting on the floor holding the lady in her arms while her head was resting on the lady's shoulder. Both of them had their eyes closed and her phone and purse were lying on the floor with the torch till on. "Helena..." I placed my hand on her shoulder walking to her side and she looked up at me with her eyes that held fear, her face was covered in sweat. The lady also looked up and to my surprise, she was Mrs. Jacobs, my business partner's mom. "Mrs. Jacobs, are you okay?" She looked at me in dilemma for a minute or so before regaining her senses. "Aid... Aiden, you here?" She gave a little smile of relief and I took both the ladies out of elevator.

She kept on thanking Helena for the support before going out on her car with her driver. As soon as she left, I pulled her to a private corner and hugged her tightly and she didn't hesitate to hug me back with the same intensity. "I was so scared." She whispered hugging me and I kissed on her forehead without breaking hug to calm her down. "It's okay now, let's go. Zayden is waiting for us." I made her sit on the car along with Zayden before walking out to my men.

"I doubt this isn't accidental. I want you to go deep about the matter and report me as soon as possible." I walked out towards my car with some food for them. All the way back to home, both of them were enjoying the food but I couldn't relax. I was still not sure about her being poisoning an accident and today with whatever happened, I can't rest till I go in depth about the matter. I'll have to clear all my doubts as soon as possible.

MELISSA'S POV:

I sat on the corner most seat on the bus but today, I wasn't as sad as I used to be. In fact, I was smiling all the way back to home with the shopping bags in my hands. I saw him today again, he was looking so handsome as ever and I was lost looking at him until I felt him turning towards me. Just as he was about to look at my side, I slid away from there. I was almost caught the second time but thankfully, I saved myself by running away. Just his single glance made my day so beautiful. He holds that power to make me smile for no reason.
