AIDEN'S POV:

"Seems like it will start raining anytime. We should move out for home as soon as possible. The clouds are getting even darker." She was rubbing her palms whispering as we were waiting for the client to come to an end of his blabbering at the meeting we're having right now at this cosy restaurant which is thirty minutes away from the main city. Well I'd have never agreed to come this far for a meeting when the profit isn't much but Mr. Finn is our old client in his late sixties so I had reasons. "Don't worry, we'll reach home on time." I whispered back to her escaping Mr. Finn's sight and she nodded while her gaze fixed on the old man sitting in front of us.

"So this is it, I hope you agree with the terms and conditions we presented from our side Mr. Rudolf." Finally after twenty more minutes, he came to a conclusion and as I didn't want her to wait anymore, I summed up the meeting telling him that he'll soon get the papers from the company regarding the mutual terms and conditions from both the parties. The old man left away after greeting us and she was all set to walk back towards our car when I stopped her.

"Where are you going?" Ignoring her question, I walked towards the counter and ordered some snacks. I got them packed so that she could have some as it's been quite a time since we're here and the old man was way too into business to talk about having at least a cup of coffee before starting the meeting though it was him who chose the restaurant as a meeting spot. "Here, let's go now." She stared at the packet that I gave to her and then back at me. "I know you must be hungry. You can have it way back to home. Let's go now." I gave a light pat on her forehead before walking out towards he car.

HELENA'S POV:

A light smile appeared on my lips while gazing on the package of food I had in my hands. Well honestly, I was way too hungry and wanted to have something but as it was getting cloudy, I thought going home early would be the best and here he came, as if he heard what was going on my mind. My eyes fell upon his figure which was almost out of the door so I hurriedly followed him and got on the passenger seat while he got settled on the driver seat. Just as we both had our seat belts locked, the sudden lightning caused adrenaline rush in my body. I started praying that we'd have no problem till we reach back to home.

"Don't worry, we'll be home soon." He said after ten minutes of drive and I nodded at him, absent minded.

"Hey, where are you lost at?" His question made me come out of my lala land and I gave him an awkward smile.

"Have the food and don't worry." I just nodded at him and unpacked the package to find out chicken burger and fries. The smell was itself so good making my mouth watery and I was feeling it would be delicious. After taking a bite from the extremely delicious burger, my eyes fell upon him who was fully concentrated on driving.

AIDEN'S POV:

I was startled to see the burger in front of my eyes all of a sudden and I looked at her in confusion. "You did not have anything after lunch as well." Though she said it, she was trying her best not to stammer and I was on cloud nine. With smile not leaving my face, I took a bite from it and the rest of the food was shared the same way till we were half way to home. The thunder and lightning didn't stop all the way.

Soon the little raindrops started making way out from the sky hitting on our car as well. "Oh no, it started raining, we still have half a way back to go home." She was looking out of the window scratching her forehead. "Why, don't you like rain?" She shook her head while speaking."No it's not like that I hate rain but right now I just want to have a good sleep as soon as we reach to home."

"Don't worry, I'll make sure you'll have a good sleep." I winked at her and she turned red while her eyes widened in shock. "What? I was just talking about hugging you to sleep, what did you think naughty girl?"

"Wh... what are you talking about? I.. I didn't think anything." She turned around and faced out through the window. I couldn't help but chuckle at her action and she didn't even glance for once towards me all the way back to home with the raindrops falling even heavier than before.

When we finally reached home, I parked the car on the parking as the guard opened the gate for us but now there was a problem. There's a way of about five minutes if we walk from parking to the entrance and even if we run, it'll take two minutes for sure and with such heavy rainfall, we'll surely get wet.

"How do we go now?" She asked keeping her hands on her waist. "Of course, we'll have to run. It'll take about two minutes to go." She hung her head low and sighed in helplessness.

"But...."

"Let's go now, there's no other way out."

"But.. How?"

I held her hand and started running as fast as I could, "Run wifey! Run!"
