HELENA'S POV:

Excited about tomorrow, I was swinging from one corner of the room to the other and was impatiently waiting for him to return back to home. I knew I had to give some reason to him so that he'd come to the venue but at the same time I had to keep it up a surprise. So I was trying to enact the lines I'll say to him again and again in my mind. It was pretty strange not to see him home until at this time cause he never stays this late at office. My phone was dead when I directly came back home from hotel so I couldn't make a call him at that time.

When I moved to the side table and got my mobile, I pressed the button for power on to see list of missed calls and messages. I had got fifteen missed calls from office and him while three messages in a row. Ignoring the rest of the two messages, I hurriedly opened the message from him and that text disheartened me.

"Where have you been baby? I've tried calling you for so long but I'm not getting to you. I'm going to London right now cause there's some business emergency in our latest collaboration with Mathews and Co. I'm so sorry I couldn't even say a proper goodbye but I got sudden call from my PA and he told me Henry Mathew needs me a long with him to London. I'll be back soon, call me back once you see my text. I love you."

I threw myself on the bed and big fat drops of tears started rolling down my eyes without my permission. I don't know what was making me more sad, was it because I had already started missing him or is it because things didn't go the way I planned. Or maybe is it because I was extremely excited to celebrate my birthday together with him for the first time. All my night went out in shedding silent tears and I didn't get when I fell asleep.

I was lost in my sleep when I heard someone's whispers and giggles. I ignored term at the beginning but then it was getting more frequent. I knew who it was, my little Zayden was the one who was giggling in his cute little voice but I couldn't get the person who was whispering. Too curious to know what actually was going on, I opened my eyes after blinking twice or thrice to adjust with the lights around, I saw Zayden smiling looking at the tab in his hands and wait!

"Wow!" was the only word that escaped from my mouth when I looked around at our room. "Yes! Mission successful." Zayden exclaimed looking at me and then at the tab. "Happy birthday wifey." I saw him on a video call when Zayden turned the tab around me and a smile appeared on my face looking at my man. "Happy birthday heroine." Zayden wished me with a kiss on my cheeks and left the room after demanding lots of chocolates from me.

"Why are your eyes so swollen? Did got cry?" Every first for words he said held care and concern which was making me more emotional. "I just wanted you to be my side today." Those words came more like a whisper but I guess he heard it. "I'm sorry baby, I couldn't be there to wish you first with beautiful kiss but I promise, I won't ruin your special day just like that." A smile crept on my lips seeing that determination in his eyes, how could he ruin my birthday when everything around me is already so beautiful.

The room was decorated with my favourite Lilly and helium balloons hanging over the ceilings and rose petals spread at every corner of the room. "How did you arrange everything?"

He gave a proud smile and then ruffled his own hair before answering to me, "Aiden Rudolf can do anything to make his wife happy and today is her birthday, such a special day for you."

"Thank you, I loved everything. This is the best gift I got on my birthday." I was smiling ears to ears when a Zayden walked inside the room with a box in his hand. "Heroine, someone sent this for you. Mummy told me to give this to you." He ran outside on the speed of light after giving me the box while I started scanning it from top to bottom and there I found a note sticking on it.

"Happy birthday beautiful lady." As soon as I read it aloud, he scrunched his eyes and I shrugged my shoulders as I didn't know who sent the gift. To see what it actually was, I unwrapped the gift and found a beautiful party gown inside. "Who's that mystery man who sent such gift to my wife?" He said while frown hanging on his face and a smile crept on my lips.

"How can you be so sure that it's a man who sent it? It can be sent baby din woman as well." I said while folding the gown back. "Yeah, it's better to think that way." He nodded while lost in some thoughts. "Hey, where are you lost at?" As I said that, he shook his head as if he's brushing some thoughts off.

"Nothing, my birthday gift for you will probably reach to you by evening."

"I'll be waiting for it."

"I love you wifey."

"I love you too Mr. Husband."

We ended the call after talking for a while and then I walked downstairs after freshening up to see everyone from my family ready to wish me with beautiful smiles on their faces. I drove myself to office after having a good family lunch and was eagerly waiting for the day to come to an end and after such long wait, it finally did happen. I hurriedly drove back to home and found everyone chatting on the hall while having evening tea.

"Oh! Look someone is so excited to see her birthday gift." Diana started teasing me and I glared at her. She'd never leaves a single chance to embarrass me in front of everyone. "Okay okay don't shoot daggers on me, look. There's your gift."

I turned around to see on the direction where she was looking and was overwhelmed to see the scene.
