MELISSA'S POV:

"Put this on Rose's dressing table right away and make sure, you look after her makeup before leaving." My manager walked out of the room after ordering me and I left out a sigh. It's been so long but there's still not much that I've achieved. The manager is good with me now, we get along quite well and she's trying her best for me but there's nothing much in her hands as well.

She's been helping me with small ramp walks and that's helping me to sustain. It's really tough to manage everything single handed and not getting things and progress you've desired adds more of frustration upon it. I never thought that the road of hardwork and honesty would be filled with so much of struggle and hardships. But it's too late to walk back now. I've come a lot ahead and that taste of hardship has been binding me back, I'm sure it won't let me back off.

There's lots of things I did wrong in the past and now that I've got a chance to change myself, I'm not turning back to the same phase again. This is what I repeat on my mind again and again and keep myself boosted. But I don't know, I'm not sure if I'll be able to keep on going with my path always being covered with failures and disappointments. All those strings of strength and positivity is breaking every day within me.

I walked to Rose's table and checked out her makeup and dress before walking back to training hall. I started my training with the trainer teaching me and my fellow friends new techniques and moves. We got an hour of break so I sat on a corner seat with my friends. I can't count much within my journey when talking about success but yeah, I've got some good friends here. And also a person who's taught me the essence of love, Aiden.

It's been so long since I've seen him, but every time I think about him, a smile appears on my face. I didn't even imagine to turn this insane to fall in love. Yeah right, fall in love with a man who probably doesn't even know my existence. But he's the first human who made me feel loved without even doing anything. The respect he gave to me, the way he protected me in a way or the other even when I don't count anything to him made me curious. If he can stand for a stranger like that, what kinds of efforts will he pull to cherish his woman?

That curiosity led to my feelings deepening more and I fell for him. I don't know if my dreams will ever be fulfilled, but one day, I want to tell him what I feel for him. I'm scared if my dreams would shatter but keeping it hidden would only make it hard for me. He inspires me to be more and more better everyday, his aura makes me want to be like him every day.

"Melissa!" I shivered when I felt someone's hand on my shoulder. "Huh? I'm so sorry I was thinking something. Did you say anything?" I asked to my friend who had called my name. "Yeah, the manger is calling you on her cabin." I thanked her and walked to manager's cabin. "Melissa, guess what? I've got a very good news for you." I was in dilemma looking at her excitement. "I'm sure ma'am has something good to tell me." I smiled at her and she stood up from her seat.

"Yes, and that good news is... that you've got to walk on ramp." I was happy that I got another ramp. "And the great news is, you're walking on the ramp for Red Diamond Groups of Companies!" My eyes widened listening to her, her words kept on vibrating on my ears again and again. "See it's not what you're walking as a showstopper or front row model. You'll be walking as a background model but it's still important to you. It'll help you with other opportunities in future. Are you getting me?"

I was on cloud nine with only the thought of walking on the ramp for the company and this was the biggest opportunity I got till today. I couldn't stop myself from thanking her again and again. Wow! This is the first milestone that I crossed in my career and... Will I able to see him again?

HELENA'S POV:

"Wifey, I'm going out today for site seeing and I'll be busy for whole day. I won't be seeing you for all day and yes please help Diana. She was saying she needs some help from you. I love you." My phone beeped with his message when I was walking in my cabin. Just as I finished reading his message, there was a knock on the door. It was Diana who knocked on the door.

"Hey Heli, did that fool brother of mine told you that I need your help?" She said getting comfortable on the chair in front of me. "Yes he did but I don't know what kind of help do you want from me." I said offering a cup of coffee to her. "Well were having some models tomorrow who'll be walking on ramp with our new brand of makeup products to be launched. So I want you to be there with me tomorrow to check upon them."

"But what will I do there? I mean I don't have any idea about it." Diana took a sip of coffee before speaking, "Oh come on, you don't need to have special ideas for that, you can just look at their performances and say if they're good for us. And I want your company so I don't want to listen to a no."

"As you say your highness!" We both burst out in laughter while taking sips of coffee.
