AIDEN'S POV:

"How's she? Is anything severe, any kind of serious complications?" I asked to the doctor who was treating Ms. Rosie along with Diana and Helena with me inside doctor's cabin.

"I'm so sorry to say Mr. Aiden but she doesn't seem to be in quite good state. We had to conduct fresh blood transfusion in order to clear up all the impurities in her blood that had caused extreme rashes and burns. We've tried our best to help her out in this situation but to be honest, I'd say it's serious."

"Have you found out about the cause behind her condition?" Diana asked the same question which was roaming on my mind ever since yesterday and I was hoping to listen to something. I was expecting, that our products had no fault in it.

"I'm sorry to say but my initial observation suggests it's due to chemical reaction which was probably because of her makeup but we can be sure only after we get medical reports." I was shaken when I heard him, not because I was scared of losing name or something like that but because I still don't feel that's the cause.

I myself had checked the quality assurance of the products and the security was maintained in every step, and on top of that, this was the major and highlighting product which was supposed to be the most important among all.

"How's that even possible? This was the special collection which she used, everything from primer to lipstick are certified products." Diana stated as soon as we walked out of doctor's cabin.

"Exactly! And as much as I know, she's the only one who used this collection as she was supposed to be the showstopper. I still don't think it's because of the makeup." As I said that scratching my forehead, Diana nodded her head confidently.

"Yes, she might have had something allergic in her food or like that." Diana's words gave a whole new level of strength and positivity to me. Just as we were walking out, Helena's phone beeped.

HELENA'S POV:

I checked my phone to see what message I got and the content inside the message caused sudden adrenaline rush to me. "What happened Heli? Why do you look so horrified?" Both Diana and Aiden were worried looking at me but I was worried about them, especially Aiden. What would be his reaction on seeing the message?

"Please speak up, you're scaring me." Diana said ruffling her hair. I took a deep breath before speaking. "I got a text from my assistant. Rosie's lawyer has filed case on our company accusing us for destroying her career along with physical as well as mental health."

Diana was the first one to react, she started pacing from one corner to the other in the corridor while Aiden's silence was killing me. "Aiden, please speak up something."

"Huh? Did you say something?"

"Please don't worry, everything will be fine."

"Yeah I just hope so." Those creases on his forehead made my heart ache and I realized that he needs me. He needs to be his strength and also as the Legal advisor of the company, I had to do something. "Everything will be fine I'm telling you. I'm going to see Rosie and try to talk to her, I'll see what I can do." He bluntly nodded at me while his mind was lost somewhere. I was stressed out looking at him, I've never seen him this weak before. I informed Diana before leaving to her room.

I knocked on the door before entering and I found Rosie laying on the bed in hospital gown with her face hidden behind layers of gauges. She was not asleep and that was only I was sure about as her eyes were not covered. Other than that, I couldn't make any guesses about her expressions.

"Hi Ms. Rosie, I'm so sorry about your health. Umm I hope I'm not disturbing you." I said taking seat close to her bed. She slowly moved her head in a no while I got a bit comfortable on the seat.

"Ms. Rosie, actually I..." as I was about to say something, I noticed something which stroke my mind. "Ah.. I was saying that the company is very sorry about your loss but we're sure the company is not at fault. I mean might be you had something allergic causing your health to degrade. You are aware about our work and quality right? But we got legal notice from your lawyer which was quite surprising Ms. Rosie."

"You can see she's not in condition to talk, so there's no benefit of asking her any sort of questions Ms. Parker." A man in mid forties spoke from the door. "I'm her lawyer James. You can see my patient isn't so comfortable right now so please..." Well he was right, there was nothing I could do as she couldn't speak so I nodded at him. "I'll be leaving now but before that, I'm taking a photograph of Ms. Rosie, we need to investigate regarding the incident and as she's linked with it, we'll be needing it. I hope you understand."

James, her lawyer suspiciously looked at me for a while before nodding his head. I took her photograph making sure James comes in background. I left the room after thanking him and was walking towards the corridor thinking about a way to get out of the situation when my phone beeped with a message from an unknown number.

"MEET ME AT SEVEN AT YESTERDAY'S VENUE, I'VE GOT TO TELL YOU SOMETHING ABOUT THE INCIDENT YESTERDAY."
