Bring it on

The media had been creating rift between the public and the company with their energetic and strong headlines every time which was making it hard for the company to decide a step ahead. The topic had now turned into a hot topic which was known by everyone who were or were not involved in business world. And the company had to do something about it. Though no one could suggest what to do exactly to settle down the situation, every one knew they had to do something.

The investors were panicking looking at the drop in shares which was making it hard for Aiden, Diana and Henry; especially for Aiden. He had never felt so helpless before, and the toughest part was that he couldn't even share his stress with anyone else. But Helena understood all his problems and difficulties without a single word and she was trying her best from her side to help him out. The reports seemed to take few more days to come out which wasn't the option right now.

So she was trying to figure out a way to get out of everything with piles of files in front of her in her desk.

HELENA'S POV:

It's been three freaking hours since I'm digging my head into these files but I couldn't think of a way to sort it out. But I'll have to see of a way, so after a short break I got back into the files. I looked after the contract signed between our company and Rosie to see if I could see anything of use but I got nothing from there except for disappointment.

Then I got a file of her bio data in my hand and started looking through. While I was busy on studying her details registered in our company, my assistant knocked on my door. She had come with the copy of medical report from the hospital. I had to work hard to get this report, the doctor wasn't cooperating with me so I had to issue a legal notice to claim the report from company's side.

I had clearly got that the medical report have surely some thing wrong with it and I was expecting to quote at least a point so that I can clear the air around. I started going through the medical reports and honestly speaking, it will be really easy for her to win this case on the basis of this medical report.

I was turning the last page of the report when my eyes fell upon some thing which stroke the nerve cells of my brain. How's that even possible? In order to confirm what I just saw, I checked upon her personal details again and guess what? That's it! That's. Just. It!

"Call every one for an emergency meeting. Right now!" I ordered my assistant before calling Aiden and Diana to come back to the company right away as both of them were out to convince investors to stay calm for a while. Within ten minutes, every one were In the meeting hall with curiosity displayed on their face.

"Ms. Helena, what made you call for an emergency meeting? Have you found out a solution?"

"Ms. Helena, we need answers."

Every one were impatient to hear if any solution had come up. Even though Aiden didn't ask anything, his facial expressions showed some hope.

"Yes, I've got a solution for the problem. But in order to settle everything, we need to call upon a press conference. And not to forget Ms. Rosie and her lawyer should be present in the conference as well." The hall soon filled with gossips and before anyone could ask anything, I spoke up myself.

"I know every one must be wondering what's going on but trust me, this is the best solution. People want us to speak up something about the incident and now that we've not got the laboratory results with us yet, we need to do something till we get that. Speaking with Ms. Rosie in front of public would help us to make people believe that we are serious about it."

I made up a fake excuse cause I didn't want to disclose anything in front of everyone. We never know if there's any mole in the company and there's no risk taking now.

"Trust me, I need your support this time. I'll try my best for sorting out things." Every one started discussing and finally after a long discussion, everyone agreed with me. After all, we didn't have any option left in front of us.

"I want the PR team to make sure that this news gets into headlines. Everyone should be aware about this conference. This is the only chance we've got to improve company's name." Everyone got back to work leaving the hall while he was still seated. I knew he had lots of questions in his mind but he didn't ask anything. He kept on staring at me, expecting answers for his unasked questions.

"You'll know everything soon. Trust me, everything will sort out for sure." I said while hugging his arm. I didn't tell anything to him as well, I was scared if I'll fail to do what I'm trying to do and disappoint him again. Enough of all this drama, it's time to bring it on now.

The PR team did it's job making sure the news reaches to every corner and today was the day when the conference was to be held. Every one was ready, everything was ready. The cameras were focused upon the stage with reporters waiting for the conference to start. That's when a wheelchair rolled inside with Rosie seated on it with James pushing her from behind.
