MELISSA'S POV:

"I'M JUST SITTING WITH MY WOMAN."

I was still trying to process the words he said, when he scooped her in his arms and settled down on the couch himself with her in his lap.

"Gosh Aiden, you're embarrassing me!" Helena hid her face on his chest while he pulled her even closer to him before speaking. "I'm just being comfortable with my lady. Nothing to feel embarrassed about." He moved closer to her and kissed on her forehead, she gave a smile to him.

MY WOMAN?

MY LADY?

Wh.. what does that mean? Why did he call her.... call her his woman? Are they, are they dating? No that can't be true. How can they both be dating? But she works at his company. No, so what if she works with him, it's not necessary for her to date him.

"The movie has started, keep your eyes over the screen Mister." Her voice dragged me out of mess going on in my head. As she said that, he pecked on her lips before turning his head towards the screen.

I couldn't believe it! I was still feeling like I was dreaming.

"No you're hallucinating Melissa. This is just a dream."

"Can't you see how are they both sitting together? Can't you see Helena being so comfortable with him? Was she ever so comfortable with anyone else? Or even with Andrew?"

"But how can she... Wait, that day when I saw Andrew at the entrance of the park when he came following Helena, he had said that she was with some other man. Does that mean..."

"Of course, that means Helena and Aiden are together."

"But Andrew had said Helena was married so how can it...."

In between the fight between my heart and mind, my eyes darted towards Helena who was smiling looking at the movie on his arms. Following her shoulder, arms and hands, my eyes finally fell upon her finger which had... which had... a wedding ring!

Sudden cold air passed though my heart, my spine getting sudden spark. I lost the courage, I didn't want my thought to come out true. I was scared, but that hope in my heart still made me look at him. He was busy ruffling her hair while his eyes on the screen. I couldn't hold on anymore so I immediately darted my eyes on his hands and.... He.. He had a wedding ring on his finger too!

That means... That means they're married! Helena is married to Aiden? I.. I.. Helena and Aiden...

"Wifey, you've lost weight. You didn't take care of yourself all because of that case. Now I'll make sure you get at least some kilograms of weight."

"Nah, what if you find me ugly and look at other woman?"

"That's not possible, nah! Not in this life for sure."

Their voice was low, but still were audible to me. My mind went blank, I couldn't see anything clearly anymore. My vision was turning blurry as tears made their own way out of my eyes. I didn't know how long had it been since I was shedding silent tears, I bet no one heard me crying neither the breaking of my heart into millions of pieces.

The room was dark with the lights turned off. But I could still see their faces beaming with smile under the light reflecting from the screen. They were happy with each other and me...

"I feel so lucky to have you in my life. I don't know what would've happened to me if you'd not have come into my life. I love you baby." The male protagonist's lines of the movie hit my eardrums and I subconsciously turned to the screen.

"I love you too. You're the best thing that ever happened to me in my life. Thank you so much for coming into my life and lighting up my world." The female protagonist said those words which I have been dreaming to say ever since I've sensed the feeling of love in my heart for him. I've been dreaming myself together with him, saying I love you to him, being crazy with him and turning old with him. But now...

The lights turned on and I shivered. I hung my head low and started wiping my tears in hurry not to get caught. But I guess my eyes had shed enough tears to be hidden.

"Hey miss, are you okay? You don't seem to be okay?" I was trying to find out some words to say when Mrs. Diana spoke up for me. "Aww you're sensitive just like me. I couldn't control my tears as well at the end when they finally got each other after all the struggles and tests." I gave a smile and today I realized, the toughest work to do is to smile when you're heartbroken.

"I'll get some snacks for every one." He stood up from his place making Helena sit on the couch, Mr. Liam joined him as well. "I'll be coming within some minutes." Mrs. Diana left after excusing herself as well leaving both of us alone behind along with an awkward silence which was killing me.

Anything I didn't want right now was silence cause I could feel the pain in my heart increasing even more in silence as I could feel it even deeper.

"I didn't know you were married." I don't know what made me say those words, maybe I still had a hope that everything was not true.

"Yeah, I'm married to love of my life."

Her words rubbed salt over my wounds, the tears had started forming already. I had to leave before I lose my control over my emotion.

"Umm it's getting late and I still have to do some preparations for tomorrow. So I'll take my leave now." I made an excuse and got out of the hotel.
