"I'm glad he's getting to start fresh now. I just wish we could find a way to lessen his punishment so that he could come out and live a normal life." Helena sighed looking at the ceiling. Both of them had just come to home from hospital after bidding goodbye to Jonathan, it was really a long day for them.

"Beep beep" Aiden's phone beeped with a message. "I knew it was coming." Aiden threw the phone lightly on the bed and started taking his coat off. Helena was curious about his words and expressions, so she grabbed his phone to check upon the message.

"Boss, the model Rose and the lawyer have finally confessed that Henry Mathew; Jonathan Atkinson was the one behind them. Both of them were working for him." She looked at Aiden in disbelief, she couldn't believe that Aiden reacted so calm on knowing about it.

"I'll see what I can do. But I won't go beyond the law to support him, he's not only responsible for our misery but also for a lot of other people. Even if we forgive him, he still has to pay for the rest." He said climbing on the bed next to her.

"I can't believe this! You're so calm even after knowing that he was the one behind all the trouble we had to face in company and you're talking about helping him right now? We were almost finished."

"We were almost finished, but I had you. See where we're now, higher than before." He kissed on her cheeks, wrapping his arms around her waist. She was staring at him as if she's seen some ghost which looked cute to Aiden.

"You look so cute this way." He ruffled her hairs before snuggling close to her neck, inhaling her smell. "I had already known about it earlier. My men found out about his connections with underground. I had a conversation with commander on which he told me everything he did as a gangster and he also tracked down Jonathan. At the same time, I got to know about it when my men found out the contract signed by both the model and lawyer on one of Jonathan's hideouts. As per the contract, they had to follow every orders he'd give and it's so obvious that he'd ordered them to do so."

"Aren't you angry on him?" She asked looking at Aiden who was chilled and relaxed which was unusual.

"I was hella angry on him earlier but I don't have any kind of grudges with him now. God is punishing him for his deeds. Moreover our bond got stronger in all that hard time, I saw my lioness standing for me. I'd remember that incident for this."

Helena's heart fluttered on his words, he knows how to make her fall in love again and again. She moved her head close to his heart, feeling his rhythmic heartbeats. She started playing with her her fingers on his chest when some thing stroke in her mind.

"But why did both of them confessed today?"

"He'd have definitely threatened them with their life or some thing precious to them. I'm sure they got to know about him today and now they don't have any reason to tolerate tortures."

"Hmm.." They both were enjoying their moment when Helena's phone beeped with a text.

"Hi Helena. I'll be shifting to London tomorrow. Will you be free to meet me before I go? I don't know if I'll be able to come back soon." That was a text from Melissa. Helena wasn't expecting this but when she got to know about her shifting to London, she was having mixed emotions.

On one hand, it was good for Melissa if she's getting to have a good life but at the same time Helena knew she would miss her as well. Although she had betrayed her earlier, she changed herself and came up to her when she needed the most. Not for the older one, but she was happy to see this new version of Melissa and thinking that it'd be good for her future, Helena finally thought it bidding a memorable goodbye to her.

"Aiden, Melissa is shifting to London tomorrow. I'm calling her for lunch before she goes." Aiden didn't give quite a good reaction.

"Come on, she'd helped me to save the company and also she helped you to save my life. We can do at least this to say a thank you, isn't it?" Aiden couldn't argue with her anymore, his lady boss was right after all. So she invited Melissa for lunch for the next day and walked off to order the staff to get things done accordingly.

The next day, every one was sitting on the dining table, sharing laughter and gossips. Helena and Aiden were sitting together, feeding each while the rest of the family was busy on adoring them. Melissa looked at both of them and smiled, maybe that's how beautiful life turns out to be when you have someone to love you back.

She couldn't hold back from glancing upon Aiden time and again, she knew it was maybe the last time she was seeing him this close. She still couldn't let go her feelings even though she was extremely ashamed to face Aiden; she felt low about herself although Helena had already moved on and had no grudges against her.

After the lunch was done, everyone settled on the hall when Helena came up with a small wrapped box in her hands. "Melissa, this one is for you." She was taken aback, she wasn't expecting a gift for herself. "This is nothing but a thank you from our side. You've been of a great help for us at our hard times. Thank you so much." As Helena insisted, she took the box and packed it on her bag as well.

"I think I should leave now, I'll have to catch up the flight on time." As she stood up, everyone walked to the door to see her off. She waved goodbye to everyone and turned around to walk.

"Melissa, wait." Helena went running after her with another box in her hands. She handed over the box to her before speaking. "It has some cookies that I made for you. I'm sorry I forgot to give you earlier." Melissa smiled looking at the box, the family walked inside giving them some time alone.

"Helena, I'm sorry for every thing once again. And I mean it, if I get a chance to have you as my friend in my next life, I'll cherish you all my life." Helena felt bad about it, they both were childhood friends after all. Although they had worst memories, there were still some beautiful memories that could never be faded.

"I have no grudges with you Melissa. I'm happy with the changes that have come within you. I wish you all the best for your future and know one thing, you can always count on me if you ever need me." These words from Helena were precious to Melissa. "Can I have one last hug before I leave?" She was almost on tears, Helena didn't hesitate to hug her. After sharing a beautiful hug, Helena broke the hug before speaking.

"All the very best, and I hope you'd get a man who'd love you back, just the way you wish to be loved." Melissa was taken aback, she felt cold wind blowing on her heart. Helena taking out such topic led Melissa to doubt, did she know about her feelings for Aiden? But she was calm so Melissa brushed all the thoughts and nodded at her.

But she didn't know that Helena actually knew about her feelings. She didn't fail to notice Melissa's expression on seeing Aiden neither on the hotel on their holiday nor today at the lunch. But this time, she knew her man well. He'd never break her heart and she could swear upon her life about it. Therefore she had no insecurities or hate towards Melissa. She genuinely prayed for her to get a man who'd love her as well.

"See you again." Melissa smiled at Helena before getting into the cab that drove her to airport, all set to try upon the plans life had made for her.
