MELISSA'S POV:

Damn it Oscar! He's making me crazy by not receiving my call. I've been calling him for tens of times since morning along with fifties of messages. But he's neither picking up my call neither he's texting me back.

"Lucy, is Mr. Walsh at the office?" I phoned to my assistant, hoping that at least he'd have shown himself up on my office but no, he's not there as well.

"Eva, hey hi there. It's Melissa." After finally having no option left, I phoned to Oscar's assistant.

"Hi Melissa, long time no see. Is everything alright?"

"Ahh yeah. Actually, I couldn't get in contact with Oscar so I thought of asking you. Do you know where he is?"

"Yeah sir is busy on his packing, he'll be leaving for Canada in half an hour."

"Canada? Why all of a sudden?"

"Actually the company's branch in Canada needed someone and that is why sir had appointed Mr. Brown to go there but last night he called me all of a sudden and told me that he'd go by himself."

Damn! Is he so upset that he's leaving?

"How long would the trip last Eva?" I was hoping it wouldn't extend to much long.

"He'll have to stay at there for at least two years or so. He wouldn't come back before that."

What? Two years? Is he really going to go away for two whole years? Will he leave me? Will I be left all alone again?Did I really hurt him to that extent?

"Hello... Hello..."

"Yeah, yeah... I'm listening to you Eva. Thank you."

I was shattered into pieces, I was feeling like I'll fall down at any moment. I somehow managed to get myself seated on the sofa but my heart was turning heavy.

All those moments we had spent together was reflecting in front of my eyes. The day we first met, the moment when he stood up for me, all those days when he helped me to stand up when I wasn't even in condition to do anything for myself. He was always there, his laughter, his silly jokes, his... his love!

He always kept on expressing his love for me, even after numerous times of rejection. Why did he do that? Couldn't he just go away from me after my first rejection? Couldn't he just let me be in my condition? Why did he keep on sticking by my side making me weaker towards him?

Why did he say that he loves me? Why did he take care of me? Why did he... Why did he make me fall in love with him?

I... I am.. I am in love with him. And look at my luck! Now that I've realized my love for him, now that I've accepted my feelings for him, he's going away from me. I'll be left alone again, I'll be heartbroken again. But will I be able to tolerate this time? Will I able to get myself back again?

How will I, when he won't be my side? All these years, he was there to make me strong but now that he's going away, will I be able to rise up again?

I can see nothing except darkness in front of me. No, I can't live alone. I can't let him go away.

"Driver, give me the key!" My driver was startled with my voice but I wasn't free to care about his reaction. It took me about ten minutes to reach to his residence after driving at maximum speed.

"Oscar! Oscar!" All the maids were looking at me as if I was some thief that had barged into his house but all I wanted right now is to see him. After calling him for around ten times, he finally showed up but with a luggage in his hand.

I was losing hope, I was scared if I won't be able to stop him from going. He was looking at me without any emotions in his eyes, I can't believe that it's the same bubbly man who would always smile at me.

"Os... Oscar... I...."

When I was trying to compose myself and the words I'd say to stop him, he didn't bother to wait for me and walked out of his mansion. Looking at his back which was going away from me, I didn't waste a single more minute to follow him.

"Oscar! I have got to say something to you. Please stop!" Without caring for my words, he hopped inside his car on the driver seat. As he was about to start the car, I hopped on the passenger seat as well. He glanced at me for a second but then turned away and started the car.

"Oscar, please. I need to talk to you, please listen to me."

"I'm all ears." He said avoiding me.

"Wouldn't you even look at me?"

"I've my ears ready to listen to you until I get to my destination."

I was scared with his words, I need to say everything to him before it's too late.

"Oscar, I... I.. I mean.. please don't go."

He suddenly pushed the brake, the car stopped at an instance and he stared at me for couple of minutes before asking me.

"Why do you want me to stay?"

"Because... I... you have a lot to look after here."

"Would you be kind enough to tell me what are those things that I need to look after?"

"Your business, your family, your favourite pet dog..."

I tried to say further but it was like those words were stuck on my mouth. He sighed and shook his head before starting the car again.

"And... Me.." I broke the silence in the car, I felt as if everything around me stopped at the moment, he stared at me with those numerous questions in his eyes.

"Wha does that mean?" He asked still driving.

"You know it well." I replied playing with my fingers.

"No I don't know it, I want clear answers this time Melissa." He ordered in his domineering voice.

"I... I want you to stay back, with me."

"Who do you want to stay with you? Your boss? Your friend?"

"The one that loves me." He stared at me as if he couldn't believe what I was saying.

"Why do you want him to stay when you don't love him back?" He said it like a whisper but was enough for me to hear.

"I used to say that to myself, but I... I realized that I've fallen for the man who didn't leave my side for once, who made me smile when I didn't want to, who took care of me, who... Who loved me."

There was pin drop silence in the car after that, I was waiting for him his say something looking at him but he didn't even turn at me for once. Finally when he pulled the brake, he turned to look at me.

"I've reached to my destination." My heart sank on listening to his words, tears started pooling on my eyes. All I could do was to look at him, everything else than him didn't matter to me at that moment. I looked at the way he got out of the car, I looked at the way he got his luggage with him and finally, I looked at the way he came to my side and opened the door for me.

Was I too late to stop him? Was I too late to express my feelings? With those tears falling on my face, I got out from the car with my head hung low. He suddenly hold my hand, when I looked at him he was beaming in smile.

"Let's go." He said and started walking with me. My eyes fell upon the surrounding and what I saw around me surprised me to the core. We were in front of the church!

Unaware about what was actually happening around me, I was just following him like a puppet. Once we reached to the backstage, I saw all of his family member dressed as if they were here for a wedding!

"Os... Oscar.. What's going on?" Negative thoughts started roaming in my mind, is he going to marry someone in front of me?

"Hello dears, so ready for your wedding?" His mom came to us grinning.

"Yes mom, we're all set for the wedding." He said looking at me. He left my hand and opened the luggage. "Here my dear to be wife, get ready in your wedding gown and I'll get ready in my tuxedo." He said forwarding a package to me while I was still in daze.

"Ah, mom we'll be right back. Please give us few minutes." He pulled me to the room next and then locked the door.

"Oscar... Wedding.. our wedding?"

"I need to do some thing else first."

He pulled me closer to him and slammed his lips on mine. He started moving his lips on mine while his hands rubbing my back. He slightly pinched on my waist, making me to wince. Taking the chance, he entered his tongue on my mouth tasting every corners of my mouth. I didn't hold back either and kissed him with all the love I had for him.

We were breathless in each other's arms after a while. "I love you." He said looking at me. "I love you too." I replied to him.

"But.... Wedding.. you were leaving the country right?" I asked as I couldn't hold on my queries.

"Nah, that was never my plan. All I had in my mind was to marry you."

"But..."

"I knew you'd take forever to say that you love me and I didn't want to waste a single more moment that belongs to us."

I was speechless, I hadn't imagined this even in my wildest dreams.

"But... I... Are you sure you want to marry me?"

"A thousand times yes."

"Even after knowing about my past?"

"I never cared about that. I've always known you the way you are right now and that's all I care about. I love you for who you are right now and I'm too busy on planning about our future to bother about your past."

I felt so lucky, I felt so blessed. I had never imagined myself in a church for my own wedding.

"What good did I do to get you in my life?" He pecked on my lips and said, "Well I'm asking the same question to my god as well."

We both stood hugging each other for a long time before he broke the hug. "I'll see you on the aisle now, as my wife." I couldn't stop myself from blushing on his words.

He left the room and later the stylists got me ready on the beautiful wedding gown and makeup. I was feeling lonely while waiting for my cue to walk to the aisle, I was sad that I'll have to walk alone on the aisle.

"Let's go daughter." Oscar's dad came to me just as I was about to walk alone. I was so emotional while walking down the aisle holding his dad's hand. I saw him waiting for me at the stage with his charming smile not leaving his face, looking as handsome as ever.

We exchanged the rings and took the vows and we were announced as husband and wife. He kissed me in front of everyone making me shy but happy. Everyone were congratulating us when a reporter came to us.

"Mr. and Mrs. Walsh, a photograph please."

He hold me by my waist while posing for the photo while I was smiling; that was the most genuine and happy smile I had ever given in my life. I'm happy to get him, I'm happy to get my Mr. Right in my life. I'll always cherish him and his existence in my life❤
