Derek closed his eyes hard.

"how did you know?"

"How i know doesn't matter Derek. why didn't you tell me does" Jude was angry and hurt.

"I am sorry Jude it's just....." Derek wanted to tell her but his words were like stuck in his throat.

"Just what?" Jude raised her eyebrows

"I didn't wanted to bother you"

Okay! now Jude was pissed.

"I got into this university so that YOU. you could bother me when run into problem but YOU......Forget it why do i even bother"

Jude HATED business. but she got into this university so that she could help Derek achieve his dream.

Derek appreciated that so much but.

he hated that she gave up on her dream to help him achieve his.

Jude started walking away from Derek and had crossed the road.

Whenever Jude was pissed she would do idiotic things like working out for hours non stop this time she would be walking endlessly.

"Jude Wait!" Derek went after her and was crossing the road.

A loud noise of something hitting something made Jude turn and her life fell apart

A truck had hit Derek who was laying many feet away from the truck unconscious and bleeding.

"DEREKKK!"she screamed and ran towards him.

"Derek!..Derek!!!"She called but received no reply

quickly taking out her phone she called the ambulance.

luckily there was a hospital near by and they reached there quickly.

"Mam please you should stay out of operation theater"

The nurse said pushing her back

Even though Jude wanted to do exact opposite she knew it would risk his life even morw

"Please do whatever you can just.....save him"

She chocked.

"We would do our best"

that was all nurse said before walking into the operation theater.

Jude kept standing there staring at the door.

Never do anything that you would regret later.

This was what Jude's father advised her but today....

she did exactly that!

Her shoulders felt heavy with the guilt and her chest were too.

It was hard for her to breath properly. her body was shivering uncontrollably and she felt cold.

'No i can't go into shock! Control yourself jude'

closing her eyes she took deep breaths and tried controlling herself.

But it was useless.

"Jude!" Lorah called and ran towards her

"Lorah!" Jude chocked

holding Jude's hand she realized how cold they were. that was when she noticed her purple lips too.

"Jude! you need doctor"

"No! i am not leaving Derek"

"Jude use your logics not emotions to think"

that was what Jude always said to Lorah

"Can i just this once use my emotions?"

Lorah's eyes widened. She never saw Jude crying. Jude was a tough girl but tough people have emotions too.

And she had every right to act on her emotions but Lorah had right to act on her logics

"Doctor! Doctor! she is going into shock"

Lorah yelled as nurse came towards them

Looking at Jude's condition the nurse immediately pulled her into a room

Even though Jude was struggling and reluctant to leave Lorah didn't let her

Finally Lorah couldn't take it and hugged her.

"Jude! you can't wait for him if you can't even stand. would he be happy seeing you like you are when he wakes up?"
