"Mam are we still rejecting the offer? it's quiet huge"

The secretary named Tracy asked her boss sitting on chair with the back of seat facing her

"Isn't the contract offering too much for a small company like ours? it's suspicious"

Tracy was star struck.

SMALL COMPANY?????

This company is listed in top 10 biggest companies of whole country.

"But mam..."

"Tracy clear my schedule for the night and bring me a coffee"

Tracy had no room for argument. she politely shook her head and walked out.

Just as she Tracy left the chair turned revealing a beautiful black woman wearing formal yet expensive white shirt and a pencil skirt in blood red color.

Her hairs were tied in a high pony with baby hairs sticking out giving her delicate features a soft look

but you won't find her delicate once you look into her big eyes.

Emotionless

that was all which could tell from her eyes

"Mam the meeting id about to start! i would serve you coffee there"

Tracy informed as the woman went to the meeting

it was had only been 20 minutes since the meeting begin but everyone was scolded like a hundred times

Even after everyone had checked theirs works 3 times for mistakes their boss still found them

" Don't you know that every word used in a contract can be used against you yet you wrote it so carelessly! are you going to pay something goes wrong?"

The person who was being scolded was literally trembling.

not with fear but with guilt

Their boss wasn't a cruel person in fact she treated everyone with respect.

The only things she doesn't tolerate when it comes to work is negligence and carelessness

Mistakes were fine

but carelessness wasn't

"I am sorry Vice President!"

The employee said

Suddenly phone started ringing as everyone took a sigh of relief

Phones weren't allowed in the meeting even for the boss.

The only person who was allowed to disturb the meeting was.....

The boss immediately picked up the phone as the lady on the phone said

"Jude! I can't bear it any longer

Jude sighed at Lorah being dramatic

"come to my office" Jude said and cut off the phone

"i want new contract 3 hours. if not then you are no longer needed in this company"

With that she got up and left to her office and started going through files and documents

after sometime the door was knocked

"Mam Miss..."

before Tracy could complete her sentence a small boy pushed the door and ran inside with Lorah running after him

"Derek stop or your mother would on crazy on me"

Lorah literally pleaded the 2 year old boy.

"mama would you do that?"

Just as Derek said that Lorah looked up and realized that they were in Jude's office.

Jude shook her head with a tiny smile on her lips.

"Tracy please bring something for Miss Lorah to drink and eat"

"Sure mam"

Jude got up and walked towards the little boy who was giving her his best smile

"Did you gave your god mother a hard time?"

even though she knew the answer she still asked

The boy pouted and shook his head no. if his mother didn't knew the naughty mind behind his cute pout she would have believed him

"He is a very good liar i sometime wonder whether he really is your son?"

Lorah said throwing herself on sofa

Jude bent down and picked up Derek and walked upto Lorah

"He's after his father"

Jude said with a sad smile
