with that she hung up the phone. there was no way in this world that her father would send a stranger to her house.

She sat down on her chair and tried doing some work but Jack's words kept bugging her.

After about two hours of not being able to do anything Jude threw herself back on chair and yelled.

The next morning Derek woke up and found that his bed was empty which was weird.

Derek was being stubborn. Even though Jude usually wont put up with his acts she sometimes let him do what he wants. He was a kid after all.

Derek's eyes sparkled but hr wasn't going to give in easily

Sighing Jude nodded as Derek ran towards him room all rainbows and smiles.

"Take a shower too" she yelled

as she thought she needed one too.

going in her room's washroom she looked at her reflection in mirror.

Ahhh she forgot to take off her lenses and now they are all itchy.

she took off her lenses and washed her eyed with cool water before hoping into a shower and getting changed into a grey T shirt.

She let her a little below than shoulder length wet hair loose do that they could air dry and went out to make breakfast

It took her 30 minutes to make the food and the house was literally filled with aroma.

"Mama. this smell makes me even more hungry"

Derek said coming to the kitchen.

Jude served him with a big portion of the hash browns and also mango milkshake.

"Eat up Derek"

"Can Mama feed me today?"

"Aren't you very demanding today?" Jude asked

"Okay okay no puppy faces." Jude laughed before sitting down and feeding him.

Derek also picked up some and brought it to her mothers face which stunned Jude

"You eat too"

Tears threatened to fall from her eyes as the similar scene replayed in her mind.

When her husband was in hospital and she was helping him eat he picked up some food and brought it to her mouth and told her to eat.

hesitantly she opened her mouth and toon the bite.

It was the best bite of her life.

She wanted to pull him in for a hug but then the door bell rang.

it was Sunday and no servants were there so she had to go herself.

Opening the door she was shocked to see Alexander standing there.

"What are you doing here?"

"I am the blind date of Mr Williams daughter and he told me pick her up from here. does she lives with you?"

Before she could form a sentence Derek came running from behind asking what was taking so long. when he saw a tall handsome man he stopped

He and Alexander had a little staring contest before Derek decided to be himself and asked

"Is he your boyfriend?"

"What?" Both Alexander and Jude said in unison which made situation even more awkward.

"Mama is he your boyfriend?"

"No Derek he isn't. he....... is a friend from university. i called him today for having breakfast"

Jude couldn't possibly tell Derek about the blind date stuff.
