Chapter 15 Quite Wild

Two days later, it was a sunny day.

Mu Jingpei and Aixi packed up their things and were ready to set off.

Mr. Zhang and Mrs. Zhang's son was reluctant to let them go. He hugged Aixi's leg and cried, which made Aixi cry and her eyes turned red.

Mrs. Zhang also wiped her tears and said, "Have a good trip. Safety is the most important thing. If you encounter difficulties, come back and think of a way."

Mu Jingpei wanted to give them some money as accommodation and food expenses, but they refused. Aixi left all the sanitary napkins that Mu Jingpei had bought for her.

Before leaving, Mu Jingpei said, "Mr. Zhang, Mrs. Zhang, thank you for your help these days. I'll send you the photos I took when I get back."

Mr. Zhang borrowed a tricycle from the people in the village to send them to find car.

It was a little bumpy driving on the uneven road. The mountain breeze gently blew hair.

Mu Jingpei looked at Aixi, who was still immersed in sadness of parting, and deliberately teased her. "Since you are so reluctant, why don't you stay?"

Aixi frowned. "No!"

After that, she was not so sad anymore.

The bridge which they crossed before was broken, so they could only make a detour around to cross the river.

On the way, they happened to pass by the bridge that impressed them.

The flood receded, and the bridge that was broken at the waist was placed horizontally, as if it had been broken by a giant's foot. The scene was shocking. The memories about mountain torrent were still clear, which was really dangerous.

Along the way, they saw a lot of collapses, and even some houses had collapsed.

Mu Jingpei recorded the devastation after the disaster with the camera.

Fortunately, Mu Jingpei's car was safe and sound.

The road ahead was blocked by mud, stones, and trees. If the parking spot was closer, the car would be swallowed up by the sand.

After saying goodbye to Mr. Zhang, Mu Jingpei opened the door of the driver's seat.

Aixi looked at his hand with a worried expression and suggested, "Why don't you let me try."

Mu Jingpei had not recovered from the injury on his arm yet, so he couldn't exert much strength. He had planned to drive slowly and stop for a rest after driving for a while.

Obviously, it was impossible to let Aixi drive. Seeing how confident she was, Mu Jingpei temporarily changed his mind and walked to the passenger seat, saying, "Okay. If you can drive the car out, I'll let you drive."

The car was parked on the side to make way for that bus before. There was a tree in front and a stone not far behind.

It was a situation that many novice drivers were afraid of.

Aixi didn't seem to know the difficulty at all. She nodded and said, "I'll try."

Mu Jingpei chuckled and thought she was arrogant.

Anyway, there was no car nearby, so it didn't matter if she tried it.

He wanted to let this arrogant little girl know that driving was not as simple as playing house. Otherwise, why would people work so hard to get a driver's license?

After sitting in the driver's seat, Aixi got familiar with the car. She asked Mu Jingpei a few questions, and then successfully started the car.

Seeing that she began to retreat seriously, Mu Jingpei was a little surprised.

Then, the back of the car scraped against a rock.

Mu Jingpei was speechless.

Aixi was a little nervous and immediately said, "I didn't notice."

As soon as she finished speaking, the front of the car rubbed against the tree again.

Mu Jingpei was speechless.

The car was rented by Mu Jingpei after he came out of the airport. After parking here for so many days, the car had been smashed several times by the flying gravel. Several pieces of paint had fallen off, and a part of the hood had caved in. He was ready to compensate for it.

Aixi didn't start to panic like a novice driver. Instead, she became calmer and calmer. Except for those two scratches, she didn't make the car scratch anything else.

She really drove the car out.

After successfully driving the car to the road, Aixi had no intention of stopping. She stepped on the accelerator and the car jumped out quickly.

Mu Jingpei was caught off guard. He leaned back and saw the car rushing straight to the mountain.

His eyelids twitched and he immediately reminded her, "Turn the steering wheel right."

Aixi was a little flustered. When the car was about to hit mountain, she turned the steering wheel to the right in time.

The side of the car barely brushed past the exposed stones of the mountain.

Mu Jingpei was frightened and wanted to get out of the car.

Aixi was in high spirits and had no intention of stopping. She was not frightened at all.

The little girl was driving quite wildly.

Mu Jingpei reminded her, "Don't step on the accelerator so hard."

"Oh." Aixi looked ahead, her eyes shining.

The car was like a wild horse waiting for Aixi to tame. After the initial rampage, it was finally under her control and became more and more stable.

Mu Jingpei who was waiting to see her fail was very surprised. He didn't expect that she would really drive it.

If it was just an accident, it could be said that she was driven by her desire to live. It's amazing that she learned how to drive so quickly.

"Have you really never driven before?" Mu Jingpei asked suspiciously.

"No." Aixi was still excited. Her eyes sparkled as she secretly stepped on the accelerator again. She was like a child who had just gotten a new toy.

"Did your father teach you?"

"Yes."

Mu Jingpei leaned over to look at her and asked, "Who is your father?"

Aixi glanced at him using out of the corner of her eye and didn't understand what he meant.

She thought for a moment and said, "My dad is not from Hongfeng Village. He is from outside."

Mu Jingpei asked, "Your father used to be a coach at the driving school?"

Even the coach of the driving school couldn't teach people without a real car.

Was he really an expert among the common people?

"I don't know," Aixi said. "Xie Jun came to see my dad three years ago. I eavesdropped on their conversation and heard them mention a motorcade. My dad likes racing and often mentioned Ferraris and Shuberg to me. They are his favorite motorcades and drivers."

Mu Jingpei didn't pay much attention to the F11 racing, but he knew that the "Racing King" Shuberg. But that was many years ago.

"Your dad used to be a driver? Or a relevant staff member?" He guessed.

Aixi shook her head.

She didn't know either.

No matter how strange Aixi could drive, Mu Jingpei allowed her to drive first. Anyway, there was basically no one on the mountain road. However, because he was worried, he asked her to drive at 80 miles per hour.

On the empty and messy mountain road, a black off-road vehicle was running.

Aixi stole a glance at Mu Jingpei. His eyes were half-closed. The sunlight between the mountains was just shone on his face through the window. His short black hair left a layer of shadow on his forehead, and his high nose bridge was perfect as if it had been carved.

While he was not paying attention, she stepped on the accelerator again.

Mu Jingpei soon noticed it. He raised his eyelids but did not say directly. He just reminded her, "The most important thing is to drive safely."

Aixi slowed down guiltily.
