Chapter 11 Didn't You Talk about the Deep Master-Disciple Relationship?

Fifteen minutes later, the car entered Baiyun Village. When the children in the village saw Luo Qiqi waving at them from the car, they all started running after the vehicle.

Once Luo Qiqi got out of the car, she was immediately surrounded by the village children. They bombarded her with various questions, keeping Qiqi baby quite busy.

Xue Zhan, who had been waiting impatiently, eventually couldn't take it anymore and pulled Qiqi baby away, "Luo Qiqi, we came back here for something important."

"Ah! Let's get down to business!"

Luo Qiqi's big, watery eyes looked at Xue Zhan, not quite understanding what 'business' meant.

Da Hua couldn't stand it anymore and sent a message through their connection, "Baby, you still need to find the note, remember? Finding the note will help you find your dad."

"Ha-ha!"

The little one scratched her head, a bit embarrassed, "I need to find the note first."

She then turned to her little friends and asked, "Dandan, did my master go to your family's shop to buy wine today?"

The boy named Dandan stopped his runny nose just before it dripped onto his mouth and shook his head while looking at Luo Qiqi, "No, the old immortal didn't come to my house today. But... he bought two gourds of wine yesterday afternoon. Maybe he drank too much and hasn't woken up yet."

Da Hua found this situation somewhat suspicious. The old Taoist liked to drink, but he had maintained the habit of waking up at 5 o'clock every day for practice.

This was also the habit that the old Taoist had maintained for decades.

Luo Qiqi, upon hearing that her dad had consumed so much alcohol, huffed in disapproval, "Humph! How can you, Master, drink so much when baby isn't here? No, I have to go back and talk to Lion Master about this."

With that, she turned and began running in the direction of the Taoist temple.

Zhang Meiting instructed Xiao Zhang to wait here and followed with Xue Qishan and her son.

Despite being only three and a half years old, Luo Qiqi's running speed was surprisingly fast. She quickly left the family behind.

Half an hour later, Luo Qiqi reached the mountaintop, where her Taoist temple was located.

Calling it a temple was a bit of an overstatement. It was actually a rundown small courtyard.

In the courtyard, there were three earthen houses. One was dedicated to the ancestral deity, one was for Luo Qiqi and the old Taoist, and the third served as the kitchen.

Luo Qiqi pushed open the gate of the yard and rushed to the middle room.

The door of the room was half-closed, which opened as soon as Luo Qiqi reached out.

"Lion Master, get up!"

The little girl started shouting loudly before entering the room.

However, only when she ran in did she realize that the master was not inside at all, only her own pair of small shoes were quietly placed under the bed.

Luo Qiqi ran over and picked up one of the shoes. She took out the note left by the master and put it in her pocket.

Looking out of the window, she saw a small vegetable field planted with many vegetables.

When the old Taoist was free, he would go to the vegetable field to remove weeds and insects.

"Why there is no one inside?"

The little girl ran out of the house without looking at the vegetable field and entered the house for worship of the ancestral master next door.

But in this room, neither did she see her master, nor the statue of the ancestral master that had always been placed there for worship.

Just as the little girl got stuck dumb by, and stood rooted to the spot, Da Hua jumped out of nowhere with an envelope in its mouth.

Luo Qiqi took the envelope from Da Hua and opened it. When the little girl finished reading the letter, she couldn't help breaking into tears.

Seeing the little girl's sadness, Da Hua comforted her and said, "Don't be sad, baby. Didn't the old Taoist say you would met again by fate? That means you still have chance to meet."

"Lion Master is too unkind. He took away all the money I have saved. Boohoo..."

Luo Qiqi burst into tears. She had worked so hard to earn the money in the past two years.

Da Hua was speechless..

Where was the master-disciple relationship that there should be?
