Chapter 22: Ghost School Classroom

In the era when the mastermind ruled, technology was advanced. From a certain perspective, some technologies were comparable to those of the world of the Wei Dynasty.

Wei Chao followed the signs to the classroom.

The classroom was empty, with worn-out tables and chairs, books stacked high, half-written blackboards, and dusty floors.

Wei Chao stepped in, a low cough sounded.

"Hehe, haha"

Mixed laughter of men and women rang out, accompanied by the sound of tables and chairs clashing.

Wei Chao stopped and watched all this with vigilance.

"Hey, what's the next class?"

"Why does Lao Wang love to drag Tang Tang so much? I don't even have enough time to go to the toilet."

"Xiaomei, I heard that you recently got a boyfriend. How handsome is he?"

Everything seems to come alive. A projector is being used in the classroom of the past, and scenes from the past flash forward.

The incandescent lamp flickered on and off.

Wei Chao looked coldly at the empty classroom, his right leg slightly backwards, and his body was in a defensive state. The right hand wearing the cracked bead trembles slightly. If there is a slight mistake, the dagger will obey his call.

The chair was rickety, like a bored high school student shuffling back and forth in boredom between classes.

It's a small classroom with only room for about 40 people. Two people in a row.

While Wei Chao was observing the situation here, the class bell rang.

Wei Chao's sharp eyes and the melodious and relaxing ringtone are the beginning of class in ordinary high schools, but here they herald the beginning of the supernatural game.

As if to confirm Wei Chao's guess, after the bell rang, the fun in this classroom stopped and the silence returned to before.

If it were another person, his heart might not stop beating at this time, and he would stop where he was, not knowing what to do. Compared to others, Wei Chao's reaction was very direct. He summoned the dagger and held it in his hand.

He analyzed the situation, quickly moved away from the door, and leaned against the wall on the left side of the podium to escape from the classroom if something went wrong.

Da da.

Footsteps sounded, and Wei Chao turned his head to look at the door. Under Wei Chao's gaze, new footprints were printed on the dusty floor.

The moment the footprints stepped inside the door, the flickering lights suddenly turned dim.

In the silence, Wei Chao remained motionless, watching the footprints walking towards him step by step . Every step left footprints on the dusty floor.

Wei Chao was unusually calm, and a thin blue line appeared on the blade of the dagger he held in his right hand.

The footprints stopped in front of Wei Dynasty. Only half a meter away.

There was a faint sound of breathing.

He lowered his head and looked at the footprints on the floor. As long as there was another footprint, he would attack without hesitation.

He recalled in his mind the time between each time the footprints fell, counting silently in his mind.

coming.

he thought to himself.

He looked at the ground, and as he watched, the footprints fell.

The fingers of the right hand clenched and unclenched for a moment.

The heel of the fallen footprint was facing Wei Chao, and the toes were forward, walking towards the podium one step at a time.

Wei Chao breathed a sigh of relief .

With only a little bit of power left, he didn't want to fight the ghost .

The footprints stopped behind the desk.

The half piece of white chalk left on the desk was picked up, and the invisible person took it and started writing on the blackboard. The handwriting was crooked, and each stroke looked very laborious.

Wei Chao's eyes followed the chalk. After writing, the chalk hovered in mid-air.

"Welcome new students."

After recognizing those five words.

Wei Chao stirred up a gust of wind in his ears. Invisible eyes were fixed on him.

He knew that the new classmate on the blackboard now referred to him, his identity in this school and this classroom.

The chalk clicked impatiently on the blackboard twice, making a sound.

Wei Chao hooked his fingers, took back the dagger, and walked towards the podium.

What is the first thing a new student does when he arrives in the classroom?

Introduce yourself, of course.

"My name is Wei Chao." Wei Chao briefly introduced himself without revealing any more information about himself.

There was sparse applause under the podium, which looked extremely strange in the dark midnight and dim light.

Invisible classmates, invisible teacher.

Wei raised the corners of his mouth , maintaining a social etiquette fake smile.

In the next breath, the lights flashed again, and men and women of different body types appeared in the classroom. The corners of Wei Chao's raised mouth lowered unconsciously in an instant .

The students in blue and white school uniforms were pale and expressionless, sitting stiffly on the table, staring straight at Wei Chao without blinking. It's like a puppet made by an unskilled carpenter.

Stiff, weird, no words, only the envy and greed hidden in his eyes.

Wei Chao still cursed silently in his heart when faced with this shocking scene .

What broke the calm was the sound of falling chalk.

Wei Chao pursed his lips, and although he was unhappy, he still turned his head to his right.

He turned his head and saw the lower half of his face, which was dead white, and the corners of his grinning mouth reached to his ears. The lip lines on the lips are clearly visible, like ugly earthworms resting on them.

It was a bit close, and in full view of everyone, Wei Chao took a step calmly.

As if a little sorry for Wei Chao 's expressionless face, the raised corners of his mouth fell down.

After gaining some distance, Wei Chao could clearly see the ghost next to him who was obviously a teacher.

He had a bulging beer belly and was wearing an old shirt and trousers with obvious black stains on them.

Teacher Ghost swallowed dissatisfiedly. Due to the rules, he could not attack Wei Chao . He glanced at the classroom and pointed to the middle seat, "You can sit there."

Although there were two desks pushed together in that position, there was no one there.

The ghosts looked around , and Wei Chao sat down calmly.

As soon as he sat down, a thin notebook appeared on the table, with Wei Chao's name written on the cover. Wei Chao opened his notebook.

A line of blood words appeared on the paper.

I hate this school.

Hate this school?

Wei Chao turned to the next page, but it was blank. Wei Chao flipped through several pages in succession, but they were still empty.

First clue?

Hate this school, what happened to this school. Wei Chao kicked his feet and distanced his body from the table. He used a dagger to poke into the desk, but there was nothing there.

For him now, the useful clue is this notebook.

"Today's class ends here." The ghost teacher clapped his hands and stared at Wei Chao with evil eyes , "Wei Chao, your dormitory is in Apartment 404."

"You must abide by the school's rules and regulations at night. After all, our school has strict requirements, and the punishment for disobedient students is quite severe."

"I understand, teacher."

Answer respectfully.

The ghost teacher sneered lightly and threw the thick student rules to Wei Chao, regardless of whether he could catch it or not.

The heavy book burst through the air with great force.

Wei Chao just glanced at it, and the book that was about to hit his face landed firmly on the table.

He pushed away his chair and walked out of the classroom with the thick book and the notebook that appeared on the table.

The other ghosts behind them did not move. Although they were returning to the dormitory after class, they could not leave here. The only one who could leave for a while was the higher-level ghost teacher. But now the ghost teacher is also shrinking in the classroom.

Looking at the empty corridor, Wei Chao thought that there might be ghosts more powerful than them.

And that ghost targets players and ghost characters in the game regardless.

hazy late at night , and there were always monsters dormant in the darkness. If you are not careful, people passing by will be dragged into the abyss.

To his surprise, he didn't see a single player on the road, nor did he encounter any other strange things.

But this ordinary thing seems extraordinary in this supernatural game.

Wei Chao came to the bedroom and turned on the light. There was a single bed inside, with a half-person-high mirror placed in the opposite corner of the bed.

Single bed, study desk, independent bathroom, air conditioning, exclusive treatment for players.

Wei Chao put the things on the table, pulled out the chair and sat down. He opened the student handbook catalog, slid his finger and stopped at the dormitory section.

He flipped through the pages.

Article 1 of the Dormitory Chapter of the Student Handbook: Please turn off the lights before 4pm.

Wei Chao looked at the alarm clock on the table, which read 1 minute past 4 o'clock.

In the silence, the balcony windows were closed tightly, and the blue curtains were gently blown by the wind from nowhere.

Wei Chaoshu closed his book, walked to the bed, quickly took off his shoes, lifted the quilt, neatly rolled himself into the quilt, and finally turned off the light button on the bedside.

The whole room was completely plunged into darkness.

After the lights were turned off, the door of the toilet seemed to have been released from some kind of seal. The door swayed slightly and made a clanking sound. Water dripped from the loose faucet in the toilet and fell into the wash basin. The curtains were still turning silently.

In the darkness and silence, all sounds seem to be infinitely amplified, seeping into people's minds little by little, arousing people's restless emotions.

In many cases, many people will hold a non-ghost attitude and comfort themselves that it may be because they are too suspicious and are scaring themselves.

But for the players, they clearly know that they are playing a supernatural copy, and all these noises are a sign of the arrival of this unknown creature.

They clearly understood what they were facing, and they also clearly understood that in the uncertain beginning, the start did not seem to give them life-saving tools.

The only thing that has any effect is the student handbook, which reminds you at the first second after class to rush to the dormitory to avoid the risk of being eliminated.

At the beginning of other players, after introducing themselves, the ghost teacher will give the player a student manual. It is up to you whether you want to read it or not.

As for Wei Chao, it was obviously set up by the ghost teacher .

In the darkness, Wei Chao was lying on the bed with his face covered with a quilt, holding the dagger tightly in his right hand, his mind going blank. All his attention was scattered around him.

In less than three minutes, Wei Chao felt that the temperature in the room had dropped a lot. It was like turning on the air conditioner in the middle of the night. It was still the lowest 16 degrees, and you were naked and lying on the bed in the shade.

The cold air flowed along Wei Chao 's exposed skin, covering his body inch by inch.

Wei Chao closed his eyes and veins popped out in the hand holding the dagger. Although he could see nothing in the darkness, he still habitually put the initiative in his own hands.

"Wei Chao Wei Chao Wei Chao..."

He heard someone calling his name softly, then louder and louder, even a little off-key.

His tense body clearly felt a dent on the edge of the bed, and someone sat on his bed.

The shouting disappeared.

the inconspicuous rustling sound, he felt that as the air flow changed, an obvious line of sight looked down at him from top to bottom.

Something silky and smooth fell down. The gaze was getting closer and closer, and Wei Chao was highly concentrated. When he felt that the object above him was getting closer and closer to him, he moved.

Wei Chao opened his eyes suddenly, put it on the quilt and swung it to the left without hesitation. The sharp blade instantly stabbed the monster in front of him.

With all his powers, Wei Chao twisted the piercing dagger hard.

The monster let out a howl and quickly retreated away from the blade.

Wei Chao sat up and threw the dagger in the direction of the sound source. Then I reached for the power switch and pressed it hard.

After all, he still wanted to see what kind of monster it was.

Almost at the same time, the moment Wei Chao turned on the light , the monster left the room with a ferocious hiss, and the dagger fell directly to the ground.

When the light enveloped the entire room again, Wei Chao squinted his eyes, which were a little uncomfortable with the brightness.

The mirror on the opposite corner of the bed was full of cracks, and the concentrated self was divided into countless parts, which looked extremely strange.

Wei Chao rolled out of bed, picked up a roll of toilet paper from the bedside table, wrapped a dagger and picked it up.

There were still drops of blood on the ground. Wei Chao swung the dagger in disgust and ignored the blood on the ground. He took the dagger to the bathroom and flushed it before putting it back.

He turned on the faucet, washed his face, and wiped the ground that had been touched by the unknown filament with some force.

The water was flowing gurglingly, and Wei Chao was holding on to the sink, staring coldly at himself in the mirror. There was some moisture on the bead on his right hand.

As he let his mind wander, he inevitably recalled that flashback.

That was the biggest mistake of my life.

Su Yao, who was wearing hospital clothes, suddenly woke up after their conversation, and the dead Su Yu stood in front of Wei Chao .

And the last dropped bead.

Although Su Yao died in his own hands in the end, this result was unacceptable to him.

Too weak, such a failure .

Wei Chao closed his eyes to cover up his surging anger. He washed his hands again and walked out.

Now is not the time to think about this. Only by getting that thing can he make them pay completely.

Wei Chao returned to the room and did not turn off the lights again in accordance with the first rule of the dormitory handbook.

According to the rules of the game, the first day is often just a warning and a buffer time for players. There should be no other ghosts set after this monster.

Wei Chao sat back at the table and looked at the four characters Yin Yang College printed on the student handbook.

yin and yang?

He couldn't help but think that the registration time for this school was at midnight. And the ghosts in the classroom also have classes at night. Since night is the time for ghosts, what about daytime?

person?

Wei Chao clicked on the table, and after thinking briefly, he opened the book and looked at the contents carefully.
