Chapter 61 She's Nothing, Not Worth Your Attention.

“Dad!” Andrew saw his father about to take the contract and quickly pulled him aside. “Are you really going to sign?!”

Although he didn’t know what was happening, Andrew felt that something was off about the atmosphere.

When he interacted with Brian before, the other party seemed unconcerned about anything. So why had he changed at this engagement event?

Lin Feng, Olivia and Andrew’s father, looked at Brian who was engaging in a lively conversation not far away. “Is there any need to refuse?”

Andrew was stunned. “But you said before—”

“Things change. It’s important to cooperate with him, and an extra five percent doesn’t make a difference.”

Anyway, Brian’s sudden demand for a larger share suggested he might know something.

Compared to this small percentage, Lin Feng was more concerned about something bigger.

Lin Feng’s voice was heavy, “Maintaining a good relationship with the Quinn Family is crucial. Since he asked, we should give him the share.”

He then returned to the crowd, smiling as he took the documents from Daniel and signed his name smoothly.

Daniel quickly put the documents away and disappeared in the blink of an eye.

Brian raised his glass and clinked it with Lin Feng’s. “I’ll take Olivia to meet some of the family elders.”

Lin Feng smiled as he watched the two leave, then turned to greet the guests.

Olivia followed Brian, socializing in the garden.

After making the rounds, her face was stiff from smiling.

The two found a spot to rest, and Olivia sat down, rubbing her sore ankles.

“Brian, are all the guests here today friends of Uncle? What about the other members of Quinn Family. “

Brian responded lightly, “Well, they didn’t come.”

“Didn’t come?” Olivia frowned. “Why?”

Although Brian was from a side branch, he was the most outstanding of his generation.

For such a significant event in his life, why wouldn’t the main branch attend? Did they not care?

Sensing something was off, Olivia was about to ask more when there was a commotion at the entrance.

“What’s going on?” She stood up.

Brian put down his glass, glanced briefly toward the entrance, and his lips curled slightly.

He started walking toward the entrance, and Olivia hurried to follow, but he was too fast for her to catch up.

At the entrance, the crowd parted, revealing a woman.

Spencer, with her beautiful makeup, stood at the entrance, looking particularly graceful under the soft lighting.

Her elegant demeanor and appearance made her the most eye-catching person present, especially under the floral arch.

Olivia halted when she recognized the newcomer.

Spencer was wearing a tailored dress, both exquisite and unique.

It was a strapless, floor-length gown, white with black stitches at the seams, resembling fishbones from afar.

The chest was adorned with scattered pink rose petals, with a few red fragments embedded among them, resembling tears from a distance.

Olivia instinctively looked at her own white dress and then at Brian’s suit.

His suit was black with a dark red rose pattern embroidered on the lapel.

The design wasn’t noticeable in the dark but became apparent under the light.

Roses symbolize love, so it wasn’t unusual to have such a design on wedding attire.

But the problem was that it was a wilting rose. The petals were falling, with a few obviously broken, disappearing in midair.

Olivia had initially thought the symbolism was unfortunate, but now… it matched Spencer’s dress perfectly!

She suddenly looked at Brian.

“He had an affair with Spencer?” she wondered.

Brian stood in the shadows, his tall figure blending into the night, but his thoughts were unreadable.

Olivia closed her eyes, gathering her thoughts. Now wasn’t the time to confront him.

She stepped forward. “Spencer?”

“Yes,” Spencer stepped inside, her long dress trailing behind her, “I’m here for Mr. Brian’s engagement banquet,” she said, handing over an invitation.

Unlike the other guests’ black and gold cards, hers was just a piece of paper, with bold, flowing characters!

It was written by Brian himself!

Olivia gripped her bouquet tightly, the fresh stems soon crushed, green sap dripping onto her dress.

“Hey, why is this one handwritten?”

“Ah, I know her. Spencer, that actress who’s been working with Quinn Group recently? I heard rumors that she had a sponsor. Could it be...?”

“Oh my god, why is she here? Today is Brian’s engagement! She wanna...”

The murmurs around them reached Olivia’s ears.

Her expression changed, and she instinctively wanted to strike.

Chloe quickly rushed over, grabbing her daughter’s arm.

Her expression turned cold, “Miss Reed, this is not the place for you. We don’t welcome you. Leave immediately!”

She scolded Spencer while gripping her daughter’s hand tightly, whispering, “She’s nothing, not even worth your attention.”

Olivia smirked, but her expression was more twisted in her rage. “Mom, he wrote the invitation by hand. He wrote it!”

Olivia’s voice was low and trembling, each word forced through gritted teeth.

Her mother’s heart sank, and she tightened her grip on her daughter’s hand, supporting her.

Spencer’s eyes reddened. “I... I...”

She looked at Brian with deep affection.

The tension in Olivia’s heart snapped.

She broke free from her mother’s grasp, rushed up to Spencer, and smashed her bouquet into her face!

“Get out! Get out of here! You want to ruin my engagement banquet? Are you tired of living? You bitch!”

Olivia attacked Spencer, screaming as her sharp cries pierced the night, finally waking the stunned guests.

Security rushed forward to separate them.

Chloe held her daughter back, her chest heaving with anger.

Spencer’s face was pale, with a few scratches oozing blood, and tiny teardrops clung to her long lashes.

She winced, looking even more delicate in contrast to the towering security guards.

The commotion at the entrance attracted more attention, and David walked over with a frown.

“What’s going on here?”

Olivia’s eyes filled with tears. “Uncle...”

Before Olivia could speak, Spencer cut in,

“Mr. Quinn, I don’t know why Mr. Quinn is engaged to Olivia, but if you knew about her chaotic slutty life...

“She engaged to Mr. Brian while seducing my boyfriends! Would you still tolerate her becoming the Quinn Family’s mistress?”
