Chapter 65 We Did It

Chloe was about to keep shouting, but Lin Feng stood up and said, “It’s late, time to go home.”

“Lin Feng!”

Lin Feng glared at his wife, “Enough! Help Olivia up, let’s go!”

The James reluctantly left, and the others also dispersed.

For a moment, only David and Brian were left in the living room.

David looked at his son, “It’s you.”

His tone was certain.

Brian remained indifferent, “Whether it was or not doesn’t matter.”

David said, “You took something from Lin Feng.”

Brian smirked, “Recently, due to the election, the company’s cash flow was short by thirty billion.”

David’s face immediately showed displeasure, “That was a necessary expense. As long as I remain chairman of the Board of Directors, our family will continue to thrive.”

“What I got from the james Family is to cover that deficit,” Brian said, “with a surplus of twenty billion.”

David’s eyes lit up, and he clapped his hands together in laughter, “Good, good! Nice move!”

Brian returned to his bedroom just as Daniel’s call came through. “Sir, Miss Reed’s situation has been handled.”

“Okay.”

Brian picked up a cigarette, holding it between his fingers without lighting it.

“At dawn, process the business transfer procedures. Before the james Family notices, change the main business.”

“Got it.” After hanging up, Brian opened the balcony door and walked out.

The maids were cleaning up the garden, which had earlier been a lively scene, but now felt desolate.

Brian lit the cigarette. The flame illuminated his profile, casting a deep shadow in the night.

When the flame extinguished, he disappeared back into the darkness.

The james Family started their fortune with gambling in the last century. In recent years, as their business expanded, they noticed the increasing crackdown in the country.

Fearing for the survival of their underground casinos, they decided to shift their operations to B City.

Brian had established close relations with the authorities over the years, and his investments had repeatedly yielded outstanding results.

The james Family wanted to leverage him.

To show their sincerity, they offered a forty-nine percent share.

Tonight, Lin Feng signed a contract transferring an additional five percent to Brian, making him the largest shareholder.

Brian flicked the ash off his cigarette, a slight smile playing on his lips.

A casino?

He wasn’t interested.

He pulled out his phone and sent a message to Ashley, “Come up.”

...

When Brian told Ashley not to worry about tonight, she really didn’t look.

After Brian left, Ashley picked up a book and read.

She closed the book and got up to pick another sexy pajama.

The second floor was very quiet. As she passed the master bedroom, Ashley could still hear Mrs Quinn’s angry complaints.

Finally arriving at Brian’s door, Ashley didn’t dare knock, so she gently pushed it open.

The unlocked door instantly slid open, and the bright light from inside spilled out. Before she could say “Mr,” she was yanked inside.

The fierce and sudden kiss engulfed Ashley like a burning fire.

She quickly relaxed, letting Brian’s large hands roam over her body, finally settling on his favorite spot.

Ashley’s eyes were misty, tinged with a faint pink.

When Brian lifted his head, Ashley raised her hand to cover his mouth, panting, “Mr, let’s make up.”

Brian bit her fingertip, his eyes dark, “Make up?”

“Yes, even if you get engaged or married to Miss. James, I don’t want to be separated from you,” Ashley said, actively wrapping her legs around Brian’s waist.

Her soft lips kissed his chin, like a devout follower.

Her hand gently brushed the hair at the corner of Brian’s eye, her gaze filled with a hint of longing, “I wanna be with you forever.”

Brian sneered, “Ashley, I told you, your eyes can’t lie.”

His hand slid down to her waist, giving it a threatening squeeze.

Ashley trembled, closing her eyes, “How about this? I can say it again.”

Brian’s fingers became rougher.

Ashley’s fingers spasmed, clutching tightly onto Brian’s shoulder.

“Mr, if anybody takes telling lies as a habit, then it can became true. Yes, I don’t have much sincerity before. But I also know that everything I have is in your hands.

“Mr, even if I wanted to leave, you wouldn’t let me go.”

Brian’s fingers paused.

Ashley knew her words had worked, so she opened her eyes, “Since I can’t leave, I can only accept it.

“Even if I’m not willing right now, I’ll keep saying it, again and again.”

She was openly telling him she was persuading herself.

Brian’s smile, as he lowered his head to capture her lips, “Remember what you said.”

Ashley extended her tongue, deepening the kiss.

Her initiative pleased Brian, making the kiss even more intense.

When Brian finally pressed her down beneath him, Ashley’s breath was hot, “Mr, please give me a child.”

Brian’s hand paused at the hem of her dress, “Hmm?”

“No more protection, okay?”

Brian’s deep eyes caught the timid look in hers, “What do you mean?”

“I wanna,” Ashley lifted her skirt, suppressing the tremble in her heart, “I wanna have a child with you.”

Brian remained silent.

“The last time I refused you, it was because I didn’t think I was good enough. It’s enough for me to be with you, Mr, even without being the hostess. Why would I want to bring a child into that?”

Brian’s hand slid down along her waistline, his dry palm lingering, “And now?”

“Since I’m staying by your side,” Ashley hesitated, her fingers tracing his lips, brushing past his Adam’s apple, heading down, “I want someone else to keep me company.”

Brian’s body tensed, feeling Ashley’s boldness, his body grew even hotter.

After a long while, Brian leaned down, biting her lips, his actions more aggressive than ever.

“Don’t regret this.”

His hoarse voice exploded in her ear, bringing with it a rush of heat.

He prolonged the encounter, leaving Ashley drenched in sweat, layer after layer.

The intense sensation of pain from deep within her bones made her feel an overwhelming desire she had never experienced before.

When it finally ended, both of their backs were scratched up.

Brian brought out some ointment, and they applied it to each other’s wounds.

Ashley, holding her sore hand as she applied the ointment on him, couldn’t help but laugh.

Brian looked back, “What’s so funny?”

Ashley finished laughing, “It’s cute?”

“Cute?”

“Yes,” Ashley said, applying the last bit of ointment on his wound, “It wasn’t even a big deal, but we both ended up... covered in blood.”

Brian reached out to wipe her thigh, “Just blood?”

Ashley hadn’t had a chance to deal with the marks on her body and shivered at his touch.

She quickly pulled the sheet over herself, “Mr!”

Brian’s voice carried the satisfaction and hoarseness of post-passion, “We did it. Isn’t it a bit late to be shy now?”
