Chapter 66. Do you like me so much?

Wen Li also felt that she should go see a doctor for her psychological problems. Her claustrophobia was a bit scary, and she felt uneasy.

She didn't dare tell her family about this. Zhou Ying helped her find a psychologist, a fellow student recommended by a psychology professor at Haishi University, who was said to be well-known in the industry.

Wen Li went to see it. The other party was quite patient. After charging her a friendly price, he asked her questions carefully for the whole morning.

The final conclusion was, "Based on your current symptoms, fear of rats and fear of dark, claustrophobic spaces are not serious psychological problems. Most people are more or less afraid of something, but you are more seriously afraid of these two. Now that you know about it, try to avoid them in the future."

Wen Li asked him, "But why am I only afraid of these two things?"

The psychologist comforted her, "Many people are afraid of mice and darkness. This is not something to be ashamed of or horrible. Don't feel psychologically burdened. There are many reasons for fear. It may come from horror stories you heard in childhood or from certain experiences. From my experience, I suggest you don't delve into the reasons. Just let nature take its course and accept your fear calmly."

Wen Li thought what they said made sense. She had lived for more than 20 years, and this psychological problem had not had any substantial impact on her. Thinking too much about it would only make her more tired.

After coming out of the psychological clinic, she received two text messages from the bank, reminding her that two transfers had arrived. One was for 300,000 yuan, which was transferred to her by Huo Yuanchen, and the other was for 100,000 yuan, which was transferred by Cheng Yang.

Just after she finished reading the text message, Cheng Yang also sent a message to her, telling her, "Sister, I passed the audition. It's all because of the beautiful photos you took. Thank you, sister."

Wen Li replied, "You're welcome. It's my job."

Cheng Yang asked her, "Sister, are you free this weekend? I'll treat you to a meal as a thank you."

Wen Li naturally didn't want to agree. But Cheng Yang was generous, and she didn't want to offend him easily, so she found an excuse and replied , "My junior high school classmate is getting married this weekend, so I'm afraid I don't have time."

Cheng Yang did not continue to pester her, and just said, "Then next time sister is free, remember to ask me out."

Wen Li really was going to attend a wedding out of town this weekend, and it wasn't a lie. She had already bought her plane ticket, a red-eye flight on Friday, and would rush to the hotel to meet the bride early Saturday morning.

She graduated for many years and didn’t recognize many of her former classmates anymore. It was only when today’s bride, Zhao Yueyue, met her when she was studying abroad that the two got in touch again.

In China, 27 years old is considered an older leftover woman. Most of Zhao Yueyue’s friends are married and have children, so she asked Wen Li to be her bridesmaid.

When the two were in the dressing room, Zhao Yueyue casually mentioned, "Senior Huo will be here today too. I didn't know that my husband and he were college classmates. Do you think this is fate?"

Wen Li didn't react and asked her, "Which senior Huo?"

Zhao Yueyue said with a smile, "You forgot, it was the senior Huo who was three years older than us, Huo Yuanchen, he was tall and handsome, his family was rich, many girls in school were infatuated with him at that time. It's impossible for you to forget such a famous person, did you have a crush on him at that time, but now you are too embarrassed to admit it now that you are old?"

Only then did Wen Li realize that Huo Yuanchen would also be present today.

For some reason, she suddenly wanted to go back. But she just thought about it. This was Zhao Yueyue's life-long event, and she was embarrassed to let others have regrets because of her and Huo Yuanchen's shameful affair.

There are so many people at the scene, it is not certain that you will meet him. Wen Li comforted himself.

But it just so happened that the bride had few unmarried friends, and the groom had fewer unmarried friends. When Wen Li followed Zhao Yueyue to the center of the stage, he met Huo Yuanchen's eyes, who was standing behind the groom.

He seemed a little surprised, but only for a moment. He quickly looked away without even saying hello to her, as if he didn't know her at all.

The bride and groom were very busy that day. As best man and bridesmaid, Wen Li and Huo Yuanchen followed them to toast everywhere. After they finally sent all the guests away, the restaurant opened a new table and they sat down to have a meal together.

We had been classmates for several years and hadn’t seen each other for many years. Some familiar classmates didn’t rush to leave but sat down and chatted together.

Among them was a female classmate who had a crush on Huo Yuanchen back then, who came over with a blushing face and clinked glasses with him.

In front of so many people, Huo Yuanchen was quite generous and clinked glasses with them one by one, but he didn't drink much of the wine, just touching his lips and then putting it down.

Everyone was just having fun, no one cared about him not drinking, but someone started to make a fuss, pointing at Wen Li and saying, "The maid of honor also pursued you back then, you should have a drink with her too."

Wen Li held a mouthful of elbow in his mouth and almost choked. He shook his head and denied it three times, "I'm not, I didn't, I..."

Before she finished speaking, Huo Yuanchen had already raised his wine glass in front of her, raised his eyebrows slightly, and asked with a teasing look, "When did you pursue me? How come I didn't know?"

Wen Li wanted to deny it, but Zhao Yueyue said it for her, "Senior Huo, you are a forgetful person. When you played basketball in school, Wen Li was your cheerleader. She also brought you water and always bought the most expensive one."

Huo Yuanchen said "Oh" and said in a light tone, "I forgot everything."

Wen Li wanted to bury her head in the table. These were the things she least wanted Huo Yuanchen to know, but Zhao Yueyue told them all in front of everyone.

At that time, she was young and ignorant, easily deceived by beauty, and indeed did a lot of absurd things, which can be regarded as her dark history. As she got older, she felt more and more that she must have had water in her brain when she was fifteen or sixteen years old.

Zhao Yueyue didn't know what was going on, so she half-jokingly said to Huo Yuanchen, "Brother Huo, are you single now? If you are single, why not take advantage of today to kiss Wen Li and fulfill her girlhood dream."

Few people took the jokes at the wedding seriously, everyone just wanted to have some fun, and someone immediately joined in, clamoring for the best man and bridesmaid to "kiss" each other.

Wen Li wanted to shirk the responsibility and said that she was not single. But Huo Yuanchen was there, and he knew her background very well, so he simply said , "Everyone, stop joking. Professor Huo is not single, and this joke is inappropriate."

Others heard it, and the noise gradually died down.

Huo Yuanchen walked towards her at this time, with a faint smile on his face, but the smile did not reach his eyes, "Although I am not single, it is okay to kiss you."

Before Wen Li had time to figure out what he meant, he picked her up and kissed her on the back of her head.

There was laughter all around her, her mind was in a mess, and she could only feel the pain on her lips. The man bit her lips and asked her with a sneer in a voice that only the two of them could hear.

"You like me that much?"
