Chapter 148. Some people think she is cute

On the way to the box with Cheng Yang, Wen Li told him about her encounter with Cheng Yang's fans.

After that, he asked a little nervously, "Is it a bit too much for me to agree to sign for you without your permission?"

Cheng Yang turned his head and looked at her twice.

Wen Li thought he didn't want to sign for them, so she said apologetically, "How about I return the book to them and explain everything to them?"

She didn't want Cheng Yang to explain. She had agreed to it, so naturally she had to explain it.

Thinking that she almost caused trouble for Cheng Yang, Ting said apologetically, "I'm sorry, I should have asked for your opinion in advance."

Cheng Yang laughed and said with curved eyes, "Sister, why are you so cute?"

Wen Li was a little confused. He didn't know where this compliment came from.

As Cheng Yang looked at her confused and helpless expression, he found her even cuter and wanted to rub her pretty face.

Although she was older than him, she was so cute that it made people's hearts beat faster.

Maybe it was because he was her client from the very beginning, Wen Li always acted very capable in front of him. She never asked him for help with such heavy photographic equipment and just carried it all by herself.

Sometimes he felt bad and offered to help her, but she said that it was her job and she shouldn't trouble the customers.

When she followed him on variety shows, she ran together with a group of male photographers. Sometimes the program crew would design for the artists to jump into the mud or lie on the ground to play games, and she would jump or lie down too, just to capture his best side.

Because of her dedication to her work, Wen Li always gave him the impression of a mature, beautiful and sexy woman. It was quite surprising for her to occasionally show such a naive little girl-like look.

He shook his head and said with bright eyes, "How could I blame my sister? You helped me consolidate the good impression of my fans. I can't thank you enough."

After a pause, he curved his eyes and said, "I just feel that my sister is so good to me. She considers everything for me. I am so lucky."

His words were quite ambiguous, and didn't sound like something a client or a partner would say.

Wen Li frowned, thinking that he was young and an idol, and might be used to talking to fans like this, so he didn't take it to heart.

When they arrived at the box, Cheng Yang signed autographs for the fans seriously. He also took out two autographed photos prepared for him by his agency from his bag and handed them to Wen Li.

He suggested, "Sister, would you like to sign your name too, right next to mine?"

When he was signing just now, he couldn't help but think that it would be quite commemorative if Wen Li signed his name next to his.

Unfortunately, Wen Li refused. She said, "I won't sign. I'm not planning to debut as an artist."

She paused and said jokingly, "I know that fans will buy and sell their idols' albums and autographs. My autograph is not valuable. Maybe after I sign it, your autograph will depreciate. If you can't transfer it to others, your fans will be sad."

He refused to sign anything and just left with his things.

Cheng Yang originally wanted to go with her, but just as he stood up, his cell phone rang. He glanced at the name on the screen, his face changed slightly, and he was delayed and unable to go out with Wen Li.

He waited for the phone to ring twice before pressing the answer button.

The other party's voice sounded immediately.

But he was lazy and didn't really want to talk to the other party. But after a few words, he wanted to end the call.

He said coldly, "If you don't trust me, then find someone else. I don't want to play this game anymore."

The other party paused and said a few more words to him. He responded casually and quickly ended the call with a sentence "I have something else to do."

He glanced at his phone with a slightly gloomy expression and deleted the call record expressionlessly.

Wen Li was not there, so he sat alone in the box, flipping through the menu with boredom, wondering what dishes Wen Li would like. He thought of a few but was not sure, so he simply closed the menu and waited for Wen Li to come back before ordering.

Fortunately, Wen Li came back soon.

She told him happily, "Your fans asked me to pass on a message to you, saying that they will always support you, encourage you, and hope you will become famous soon."

Cheng Yang was very happy and said, "Thank you for helping me, sister."

He handed the menu to Wen Li, "You're welcome, sister. Just order whatever you like. Don't save money for me."

Wen Li smiled and teased him, "Even if I don't save you money, I still need a very big stomach to eat it. There are only two of us, and we can't finish it if we order too much."

Cheng Yang looked at her gently and said, "Then let's not leave, let's wait and have the next meal together. I'm happy as long as I can stay with my sister for a while longer."

Even though Wen Li was slow-witted, he could understand what he meant.

She was stunned for a moment and wanted to refuse, but when she saw his eyes full of hope when he looked at her, and his handsome, carefree face that seemed to have no idea what sadness was, she found it hard to say no.

She said politely, "That won't work. I have to go home and sleep early. I have to work hard to earn money tomorrow."

Cheng Yang smiled and said, "I was just joking with my sister. I guess I scared you."

Wen Li secretly breathed a sigh of relief, not knowing whether he was really joking with her.

But I still enjoyed the meal.

Wen Li was not a dull person to begin with, and Cheng Yang was a cheerful and sunny type. He was also very good at observing people's expressions and kept chatting about topics that interested Wen Li. The two of them laughed from time to time, and the atmosphere in the box was very lively.

As a result, the meal didn't end until after ten o'clock in the evening.

Cheng Yang suggested, "Let me take my sister back."

Wen Li remembered that her agent had specifically told her that as an artist, she must be careful about her words and actions at all times and not be easily photographed by paparazzi.

She can have some secret interactions with Cheng Yang to please CP fans, but it must be ambiguous. After this wave of heat has passed, the agency will have to come out and explain that the two of them did some business to cooperate with the variety show broadcast, and Cheng Yang is still single.

But if a man and a woman are alone and walk into a residential area late at night, it will be hard to explain if they are photographed by paparazzi.

Wen Li shook his head and said, "I'd better take a taxi. It's getting late, and you should go back earlier so that your agent won't worry about you."

Cheng Yang didn't want to go back so early, but Wen Li would never change his mind easily, so he could only give up.

He kept sending her messages on the way, asking her to inform him immediately when she got home, and also said some meaningless words like "I had a great time tonight".

Wen Li didn't arrive at her apartment until almost eleven o'clock.

Taxis were not allowed to enter the community, so she walked from the gate to the downstairs of her apartment building. Halfway through, she heard a man's footsteps behind her.

She was suddenly frightened and quickened her pace.

However, she walked fast, and the person behind her also walked fast, following her for several steps.

She was so scared that her hair stood on end. She kicked off her high heels and ran away.

He had only taken two steps when he was grabbed by someone behind him.

She turned around and bit the man's hand.

The man was caught off guard and groaned before he could speak, "Are you a dog? Why do you love to bite me so much?"
